Thoroughly updated with design and SPICE problems, as well as a number of new topics such as two-port networks and three-phase power, this textbook describes the various types of electric circuits. It contains a range of realistic problems faced by engineers in true situations.
I completed this textbook after taking two circuits classes. I found this textbook was generally good—it covered most topics that are likely to be encountered in introductory circuits courses and some additional material. The problems were good and there were plenty of them to practice on, albeit a few with mistakes. The explanations were generally decent, but mostly non-rigorous; engineering students rejoice, physics students despair.
