Gabriel and Tory
Another fabulous story. Wow totally disgusting how Tory's ex boyfriend Ethan drugged Tory and then videoed it and then shared via the computer for the world to see, but thankfully she got the Robicheax team involved and found out that this for all meant for sex trafficking. They had an old acquaintance contact then by the name of Miguel Santos that turned his business legitimate after his young daughter was kidnapped for this very same reason, so he's been watching the different websites for anyone soliciting for children and found three different cities and some of the teams went in as buyers and rescued several children. Some of the children had parents that were searching for them, but one family didn't, so Gaspar and Alex adopted them. The other child found also had his aunt that was kidnapped with him and they had no other family, so they stayed with Antoine and now Ella is their new accountant and they end up getting married also. Mama Irene and Pop Matthew are marrying off their children one by one or some at the same time and they're going to be getting another grandbaby from Rachelle that she didn't think she was going to be able to get pregnant since she was severely damaged from her attack many years ago, but apparently God had other ideas. Tory's parents are what I would refer to as idiot liberals and they don't deserve Tory or her brother John, and very glad they have found true and loving family with there team and the Robicheax family. Happy reading.

Gabriel Robicheaux is captivated by new REAPER South member former deputy Tory Gibson. But how to get her to give him a chance. When he discovers her secret and a painful past he jumps feet first into helping her. As the team along with Santos work hard to fix her problems they discover that her story is only the tip of a very nasty iceberg. By the time this story ends the Robicheaux will have grown exponentially. There will be more weddings, more children and more than enough love to go around.
Mary has written another cracking good story but be warned there are scenes that may prove distressing. I love this big crazy family and can't wait to see where the next book takes us.

Great!
I chose this rating because this was a really great book in the series. I really enjoyed all of the characters well most of them. This was a book of betrayal, manipulation, and trying to control another person. I was very impressed with the way Tory handled herself with her situation. I was also happy that Tory and Gabe finally got together. Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers.

Another three bite the dust.
The Robicheaux Family never does anything small. Three weddings in 1 day.
Troy's story was so beautiful and heart breaking but full of love. Her situation is actually real in today's world. How Troy found love with Gabriel. From Troy story came the rescue of the children. There are some sick people in the world. If though this is a book of fiction what happen to Troy and those children happen and ally but never talked about. LOVE these books.

We saw a bit of Tory in the last book, but learning what happened to her made me so mad! I hated how she was used and then how she was treated at her job. She is better off with REAPER.
It seems like with Tory, there is a new line of work for REAPER and man...that just broke my heart to read about. I'm glad that things went well that they all were able to save the kids and get them in places that were better if needed.
The ending was great! Loved seeing all the new families!

Another bend in the road
Yet again Mary Kenned knocks it out of the park! Tory and Gabriel’s story take Reaper Security in a slightly different direction investigating child trafficking. Once again the entire team are involved including the wider family. In some parts horrifying in what is discussed but always with a happy ending guaranteed, an excellent book.

I'm very afraid that I am running through these books faster than this author can right them I know that's not the truth but that's how I feel and it's hard for me to slowdown because they're just so good Loving these books 💞😍

Unusual but very current topic.
My goodness these alpha males know just what they want. I really like stories that have previous characters interacting and this series has it in spades and the romance isn’t half bad either.

My advice, READ THEM, read them all. You will not be disappointed at all. Mary Kennedy's Reaper series is on my tbr list even if I have already read them.

Good addition to the series. The child trafficking theme is so horrible and makes for a very emotional story.

Bring out the tissues. Tory is a former deputy sheriff in the parish where the Robicheaux clan lives and is leaving the sheriff's department due to harassment. A former boyfriend had taken advantage of her, drugging her and making a sex video, which was streamed live and then sent to many of the trafficker's clients. She begins work at REAPER South and Gabriel can't keep his eyes away from her. She is skittish, though. The boyfriend makes a return appearance and is heavily involved in trafficking women and children. The team takes this on too, with an extra added bonus. Some kids that are rescued have nowhere to go. Alex and Gaspar are now a family of eight. Ella, the aunt of another rescued child, becomes the next "REAPER wife", marrying Antoine and adopting her nephew.

Child trafficking is a very touchy subject and the way this book handled it was great, every child deserves a happy ever after and the kids Luke, Ben, Carl, Adam, Lucy and Voilet deserved it more than anyone

Even with the grammatical errors this book got to me! I can't lie I definitely shed a few tears. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Emotional rollercoaster with this book but the court scene is what bought the tears in. You will not be disappointed.
