It's not always as easy to sell a paperback book these days as it is a Kindle. But this book "High-Performance Paperback" does just that. The book is a terrific guide to helping authors make their paperback books magnetic to readers. A great guide for walking you through the steps, the book wastes no time by focusing on just what you need to know to get your book in front of readers. You'll learn how to:

* Link your Kindle and paperback together on Amazon.
* Claim your book in Author Central
* Include the #1 Bestseller badge on your cover
* Set up your paperback in the Matchbook program
* Price your paperback
* Set up your book in the appropriate categories to hit #1!

The authors Ray and Jim also cover how to set up a discount deal as well as set up your book to run on an Amazon ad [AMS]. By promoting the Kindle book, you’ll also get great tips for driving traffic to your book and selling more books through various media and promotional sites.

This is a great little book that will help you to make more money and, in fact, the first sale you get will cover the cost of the eBook so there is nothing to lose.

Win-Win.

Amazon and Createspace are gifts to indie authors, but navigating them and using them to optimal advantage can be confusing.
Coming to the rescue are two Bestselling authors who've been there, tested that, and it is our good fortune that they are reporting back. They give us the straight goods in an easy-to-read conversational style. Here are simple, specific step-by-steps, the real-world what to do and what not to do to get the very best outcome for your book. I've written more than 20 books, both traditionally-published and, more recently, as an indie author, yet there are strategies and tactics in this book that are eye-openers that I'm putting to immediate good use! Thank you Jim and Ray for this gift to authors both in the about-to-be-published camp or already published. As authors, we all strive to reach out and help more readers. This short book tells you how. A fast read and, as another reviewer has said, it's all pure gold! Grab it, read it, and keep it close to refer to as you power up for your next print book launch!

Having read books by both of these authors, I was sure their teaming up would produce a "dynamic duo" for encouraging and advising starting-out authors to help them navigate the path to a successful ROI from a self-published book. Both authors have walked-the-walk and have proven success to share with upcoming indie authors. I was not disappointed and found their step-by-step advice on how to work with the Amazon platform reduced my fear of dealing with that aspect of self-publication. HIGH PERFORMANCE PAPERBACK talks about category selection, promotion techniques, publicity and advertising, and how to use social media to achieve success. This book is short yet comprehensive.

Awesome guide:Step by step to paperback publishing

This book is a must when you want to take the step from e-book to publishing a paperback version of your book. It describes step by step how to approach this process. There is an additional video how to pick your categories so you can be almost sure to earn bestseller status. It’s awesome. The author(s) even helps you with all kinds of ”how to” in Amazon as well as in CreateSpace. The book gives fantastic advice and I really recommend it to every writer.

One great tip for me

Worth the dollar and the time spent reading it. I found most of the tips obvious, but this is usually the case with books at this price range. What I usually look for is at least one tip that I did not know and is valuable enough. This book had that. It's the tip about how to run book giveaway on Amazon.

Not a lot of information.

64 pages, but the first 23% is an ad, praise, foreword, and introduction. The last 10% is about the authors. The remaining 67% had information that could have been contained in a blog post. That's fine, except that I paid $1.99 for it.
