4 unexpected stars
Considering this isn't my first rodeo with Alexis Angel, i had an idea of what to expect with her books. Only, i wasn't expecting to find a link between Dirty Daddy and D.I.L.F. (and another i hadn't read yet). Just as i had noticed with Parker, Magnus is cocky and arrogant, knowing exactly what he wants. And, similarly as in D.I.L.F, Penny is asked to find any and all incriminating information by her mother and the mayor to take him down and get rid of her stepfather once and for all.
4.5 sexy dreams
Alexis Angel absolutely knows how to write a scene. Heck, she's blunt, descriptive and dirty, which is why my 'dream' factor is so high, but i was disappointed in the fact that Dirty Daddy and D.I.L.F. (which I loved) were so similar (and different at the same time). Albeit m small (and considerable) problem with this book, i still enjoyed being able to revisit past characters that i had met not a week ago and was captivated by their story. I still can't wait to find out what Alexis Angel will write next as i know it'll be something i'll remember.

Magnus is a know it all billionaire who does what he wants he doesn’t care what anyone thinks. He knows he has the look that women love. He has sex where and when he wants Magnus ex wife is the editor and Chief and she hates him so much she wants to destroy him. Penny workers at the for Gossip Central, she is also the daughter of the editor in chief. Her mother wants Penny to find out everything she can about Magnus. After Penny gets closer to Magnus she doesn’t want to get attached to anyone much less him. Things don’t always go with way we want them. I enjoyed this book 5 star read for me.

My this is one VERY HOT story written by Alexis. I must say it is a steamy, dirty, sexy romance story with drama and backdoor wrong doings. Magnus shows us right away how cocky he is and he proves it with the way he carries himself and the wealth he has. A big bad sexy hot man doing what he wants when he wants! That is until he sees his ex step daughter from several years ago, Penny. Lets say Penny should be undercover to find out dirt on Magnus to write in the NY paper to help her mom, the editor and ex wife and the mayor, Laurel to bring him down. Only one problem with that is that Penny finds nothing bad to write about and actually makes a move on Magnus he can not turn down. The sparks between Magnus and Penny are off the charts and they continue a secret relationship and start to see more in one another they either thought possible. The way Penny’s Mom treats her is one you won’t forget to soon. I absolutely loved the man that Magnus becomes with the love Penny and him start. Will Penny and Magnus be able to live with all the negative press and move forward or will his business suffer and crumble? Will good win out or will the wrong doing of others win? I have to hand it to Ms. Angel- rising up as the Princess of Taboo . This book has stepfather, step daughter taboo going and the older man/younger woman taboo. Ooohh it was a hot, steamy, erotic read and I definitely enjoyed what I read. There was also a twist in the story which I didn’t expect but I loved when it came to the heroine’s mother. Penny and Magnus the rich billionaire really generated some steam and at first I didn’t think they would. Penny is a tabloid journalist and is supposed to report on Magnus, but soon realizes it's a just personal vendetta by her mom and the mayor of their city. When Penny realized she had been used, she fully threw her lot behind her “stepfather” and made sure he knew he had her 100 % loyalty from then on but forces were at work to keep them apart. There were many twists and turns that kept me on my toes. Oh and the steam and heat between Magnus and Penny- top notch!! Loved the ending and cannot wait to read the next Alexis Angel book!

Penny Wright, writer for the gossip column of the New York Daily Journal, loathes Magnus Davion, She has every intention of taking him down and ruining him in the process. She wants revenge for him hurting her mother by cheating on her while they were married.
When Magnum and Penny reunite he doesn't recognize her. To him, she's just another woman to flirt with and take him. Once she reveals herself he's determined to behave himself; however, he's not the only one feeling a spark.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Alexis Angel has a way of bringing the characters to life when they speak directly to you throughout the novel. This book is a must read if you are a fan of scorching hot romance novels!

CEO of Davion Development, Magnus Davion, had it all, really...until he saw his stepdaughter at a fundraiser, Penny Wright, now unrecognizable at twenty-one-years old, all grown up and freshly graduated from Yale.
Penny is not above using her considerable assets to get the real deal on the cheater of a stepfather for the gossip column of the New York Daily Journal her mother now runs as Editor-In-Chief. Until she uses them for her own purpose...and finds out she may have bitten off way more than she can chew...Her crush on Magnus when he had married her mother was nothing compared to the way she was feeling now, becoming utterly entranced with this man, and there is no going back.

Whew! Talk about hot and bothered! Magnus and Penny sure do meet their match in bed and out of it! This book was recommended to me because I enjoy romance. This book was a bit much for me, as it has more than enough description of the romance, but the author was unapolegetic about it in her preface. Know that when reading, you will blush and imagine some doings by Magnus himself. If you can handle that this book is for you! The love story behind the erotica is sweet and charming. I can't say that I will continue to read other books like this, but it was good in the story and description. I had a clear picture of both the characters, Magnus - hot, know-it-all billionaire, who can do know wrong; Penny - go and get 'em journalist out to stop his path of indignity. Only when they are reunited (Magnus was once Penny's stepdad) does Penny realize that her attraction is beyond her power to control, and although Magnus tries to decline the advances, finds the attraction to Penny to great to ignore, and then sex starts. Again, sex talk is rabid in this book, so go into it knowing that it is described thoroughly, and ravenous from start to finish.

When I start reading a book and knowing he is rich, has a large male appendage and only does what he wants to do does not grab my attention and let me know about the build up of the character or set the stage for the storyline.
End of chapter 1 the book asks me if I want to keep reading. I just about move on when. I discover this isn't a book but a short story/novella.
Constant sex is not a plot. Sex with your step father. Okay. She was an adult when they married. It was a marriage of convenience. But to continuously call her stepdaughter and he stepfather is not right especially if you call him Daddy. Maybe you will like this book but I gave me problem.
In the beginning of the book. Build up a storyline. Allow the characters to grow. Set the plot. Build up from there. I read over 500 books a year. You may like this book. It just felt weird to me. Now, I have to say the last of the book turned out good too little too late. I very seldom do bad reviews. Sometimes saying nothing is best. Hmmmm

It's probably the last thing I should admit about an erotic romance, but I raced through the sex scenes to get back to the story. Don't get me wrong they're super-hot, but I was more interested in finding out what last-minute twist would unravel the bad gals' master plan. It kept me flipping pages trying to figure out how we were getting to happily-ever-after. Love, lust, political intrigue: this book has a little bit of everything. I loved the little asides from the characters to the reader throughout the book. It made the characters feel just that little bit more real to me. It's maybe a good thing the author reminds us to suspend disbelief before reading. Was it realistic? Probably not even remotely. Was it fun? Heck yeah! Was it spicy? About like a chili pepper - some will be able to handle it, others won't. I look forward to seeing what’s next to come out of Alexis Angel’s New York.

I got this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review. I love Alexis Angel's work. This is another great sensual taboo read. There is just something about the way she pulls you in and makes you a part of the story. Magnus has the money, the fame and does what he wants. He is always in the papers for his scandals. His ex-wife wants to bring him down. So she gives her daughter an assignment to dig up dirt on him and get to close to him. They meet at a fundraiser and he does not even know who she is until she reveals who she is. They go to dinner just as father and daughter, but ends up in the limo. Penny does a little teasing and getting him all worked up. He tried to keep his control but he is only a man. Will Magnus and Penny get their HEA? What will her mother do? You want to know you will have to read and find out.

This is a sweet sexy filthy taboo read that is hot as hell and will have your kindle exploding because it's that hot.
Dirty Daddy is a story about Magnus Davion the NY billionaire real estate mogul and his ex stepdaughter Penny Wright who is a beautiful Yale graduate and who works for the New York Daily Journal.
This story is hot as hell but it also has an interesting storyline to keep you entertained and boy the plot twists definitely kept me hooked throughout.
There's enough dirty dealings and plot twists to keep you highly entertained and wondering what the hell is happening.
The ending was just right for this story but left me wanting more in a good way.
I hope you give this book a chance and enjoy it as much as I did.

What's the saying "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" well when it's two women , you really have no chance. That's what's happening to Billionaire Magnus Davion. He just loves women, wants to donate anonymously to good causes, build his construction business Davion Development and get on with life but someone is out to discredit his name. His ex wife Rhoda Wright is out to get him and with the help of Mayor Laurel Trask , well sorted. Little do they realise that their secret weapon Penny Wright, Rhoda's daughter will have a big impact on them all. A great hot, sexy story with a brilliant plot. I just love the endings on an Alexis Angel story. You are never disappointed. Loved it.

Over the top, as promised
The author promises over-the-top and delivers with a hero who's unapologetic about his womanizing ways and who can boast an indefatigable erection with an endless supply of ejaculate. The heroine shows glimpses of a sturdy backbone, which makes her a refreshing change of pace within the genre. I would have given this book a higher rating, except that: (1) There is no discernible reason for the hero to fall in love with the heroine. She falls into his bed as quickly and eagerly as any of his other conquests. (2) The books needs to be proofread to correct grammatical errors. That said, I enjoyed the book, because every now and then I like something frivolous, sweet, and dirty.

This forbidden relationship has a down right cocky billionaire daddy who get what he wants when ever he wants it. This ends up with Magnus in the gossip column because of his behavior more often then not. His ex-wife will stop at nothing to bring this hot alpha male down. Even sending her daughter in to investigate him.
When Penny sees Magnus again their attraction and sparks fly while she is investigating him for her mom. Penny isn't able to dig up any dirt to bring him down. Oh the dirty talk in this book is sooo good. Alexis really played up the taboo stepdaddy part, it was soooooo hot and dirty.
Penny is a journalist and is supposed to report on Magnus, but soon realizes it's a personal vendetta by her mom and the mayor. Poor girl. It seems like everyone is out to get them and they just wanna sneak around and have their sexy dirty way with each other. There were twists and a big shock later on, it was definitely an interesting story.

A hot, dirty, sexy taboo romance. Loved Magnus and Penny. I know "Daddy" stories don't appeal to everyone. But, I love an older man/younger woman romances. I would also like to make it very clear there is no blood relationship between these characters and everyone is an adult. As with any Alexis Angel book there is scorching hot & dirty sex and plenty of it. it is also a book about a man who in the end finds a woman that is everything he never knew he wanted and what he will risk to have her. If you enjoy scorching hot taboo romances this books for you. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

Magnus is a billionaire with a bad boy reputation. Penny is a reporter for the Daily Journal. Oh! Magnus is also Penny's ex-stepfather. Rhoda is the Editor-in-Chief at the Daily Journal and also Penny's mother. Rhoda wants to destroy Magnus and enlist the help of Penny to do so. Magnus begins to change his ways and Penny writes an article on the truth showing the changes he has made. Throughout Penny's investigation of Magnus sparks fly between two. Unfortunately it just may cause them both go in flames. Rhoda is out for blood, will she destroy her own daughter in the process? Will Penny and Magnus make it through every thing Rhoda throws their way?

Not a fan at all. I love a good alpha as much as the next person, but the author lost me the first time she plugged herself within the story. Nothing makes me roll my eyes faster than an author who writes herself in by name. And I don't like characters that talk to the reader. I think Magnus was way over the top arrogant to the point of being completely unappealing. I can get into a good dominating alpha male but this guy was just ridiculously conceited. Every other word from him didn't need to be how great he was. If all this authors books are like this, then I'll have to say I'm not a fan.

When Penny is sent to ferret out Magnus' secrets and destroy him, she doesn't have any idea how many misconceptions and lies are being told. Her mom? Or was it the mayor? And being Magnus' stepdaughter made things even more complicated. I loved the steam factor, but also thought the story line was good and showed some complexity. Magnus was quite the playboy, at least until he saw all-grown-up Penny. I do love a bad boy who can be redeemed. This was a fun and hot read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I absolutely loved this story, very well written with lots of steamy sex scenes, but it's not just about the sex, the characters really come alive during the story, and as you get to know them, they are different to how they first appear
The story has a great plot, lots of twist and turns, misunderstandings and excitement. This book is a real page turner and I highly recommend it, Alexis Angel has written anotherv corker!!!

Alexis has a wonderfully unique writing style and she sure does know how to write a sex scene (I needed a fresh pair of panties) they were totally hot. A loved the slightly taboo nature of the story, Magnus and Penny being stepfather and daughter and the twists and turns it takes you on. Overall a wonderfully well written, entertaining, sexy story that I would have no hesitation in recommending to all who love some romance and drama with their sex.

Magnus, business tycoon and playboy extraordinaire meets Penny Wright (who use to be his step daughter for a short time) at a charity gala. She's been brain washed by her mother but falls for him and he falls for her. Her mother throws her under the bus to help herself and her female lover get ahead. Luckily they come back from that. What I like best about this book is that Magnus and Penny stick together through the worst and don't second guess each other, and of course the book is sinfully hot!!! Great job as usual Alexis!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Magnus is a jerk, but he is a rich jerk!!! He has NYC establishment gunning for him and the mayor and a newspaper editor are trying to destroy him. The editor is his ex wife and she will use her daughter Penny a journalist to try and get the goods to destroy him and his business. Penny soon realize that her stepfather is not the bad guy and that her mother is up to something....The story is hot, is as intrigue, suspense and a HEA.
