1.Present a child-centric approach to adoption - such an approach helps retain the focus on issues that are central to adoption rather than those that are peripheral or driven by need of the parent
2.Prepare a case for understanding adoption by a common man, in regular course of life – the book in fact provides details about several agencies and individuals working towards enabling adoption, universal trends on adoption and comparison with alternate choices for child care.
3.Sensitize larger section of the society towards their role in enabling adoption – It throws opportunity for active participation as an individual, family member or friend, policy maker or a professional.
