Zach Purser is the ultimate playboy. He has made it his life mission to never lay down his roots until he is darn well and ready to, the impact of a childhood spent struggling to achieve those goals that he had hungered for even back then. None other than Adam Clark, his best friend for the better half of his life knows his legendary conquests when it comes to bedding and leaving a wake of women behind and that is one reason why Adam’s younger sister Paige Clark remains the forbidden fruit to Zach, no matter how much he might hunger for her touch.
Paige had always crushed on Zach ever since she had reached the age where she had known what crushing and lusting was all about. She wants Zach and not even the towering fury that is her elder brother is going to stop her from trying to seduce his best friend. With no holds barred, Paige launches her mission of tempting Zach to take the plunge, to indulge just once in the sexual tension that always lingers between them whenever they cross paths.
Turning away Paige time and yet again is the hardest thing Zach has ever had to do. But a man can say no only so many times and Zach finally reaches the end of his rope and succumbs, only to find that walking away as he thought is much more difficult than he anticipated. Zach finds himself reaching out to Paige in a way that is foreign to his very existence, all the while trying to hide his emerging and very confusing feelings towards Paige from her brother and his best friend.
Emma Jay has a way of writing that always draws me in and leaves me with the need to find out more. And that was the case with this novella too. I love the way she portrays complex characters, the way she brings forth the emotion that kept me turning the pages even into the wee hours of the night, unable to let go of the hold Zach and Paige had on me and my emotions. Just one question remains on my mind as I write this review, will Emma Jay write a story for Adam and Paige’s house mate? I would love to see Adam fall, and fall hard. Yep, the evil cupid inside of me cannot resist voicing this thought.
Recommended for fans of Emma Jay & fans of erotic contemporary romances. Emma Jay gives you the emotion with the erotic, and that is one reason I will continue to come back for more!

For Paige Clark there's only ever been one man for her, if only he would open his eyes and see that she's been waiting for him, things would be so much easier. Since Zach Purser has never done things the easy way, at least in Paige’s eyes, she's going to have to get dirty to get the guy. Giving into her heart isn’t an option in this game, but getting at least something from Zach is better than never having him at all. But the more she's with him the more that she wants him. Sooner rather than later she realizes that walking away isn’t an option anymore. Will offering him herself with no strings attached be just the right bait or will Paige end up losing not only her heart but her dignity as well?
Zach Purser just wants to have a good time, hang out with friends and relax every night with a different woman. He isn’t ready to settle down and doesn’t know if he will ever be ready. Settling is how Zach sees Paige; she's someone you could make a life with, maybe have a few kids and a house in the ‘burbs. However, she's not someone you have a few fun nights with then never talk to again. When Zach tries to make Paige into the woman he can handle, with negative results, panic is the only thing left for him. He can’t need her, or want to be around her, yet every time he tries to stay away the more he aches for her. One touch is never enough, and even out of the bedroom she's so much more than he expected. Simply put, falling for her is so easy.
With an over protective brother, sick kids and nosy roommates, Zach and Paige have their work cut out if they want to make this relationship work. Emma Jay made this story easy to read. The characters really told the story and made this so enthralling I was sad to see the last page. Because Ms. Jay is a new author for me, I didn’t know what to expect, but this book was wonderful to read and a pleasure to review. This one would make a great addition to anyone’s TBR pile, just like it has to my keeper shelf. I can't wait to read it again.

This is a story about a girl who goes after a man she’s wanted for some time and turns his safe world off-kilter. Off Limits by Emma Jay has Paige Clarke pursuing her brother Adam’s best friend, Zac, which Adam has made it clear to him that he doesn’t want him going after her. Zac and Paige meet up again after years apart at her brother’s Matt’s engagement party where he sees a sexy young girl dancing to the music and finds her very enticing. Little did he know that it was Paige and he knew that Adam wouldn’t want him messing with his baby sister. She gets him to dance and his body took him where it shouldn’t have and he ended up with a face full of fist from Adam’s right hook! Paige feels responsible for his bruised face and goes to see Zac the next day to point out to him that she wants him and she feels he wants her too. He denies this of course and then the games begin. She follows him to a sex club in order to get him to notice her and instead he escorts her out and right next door to a hotel for a hot night of sex. Needless to say but it was HOT! Ice cream probably will never taste the same for either one of them after their first time. The morning after didn’t go so well for Paige, and Zac felt that he had to make amends for his bad behavior. The next thing he knows he’s doing the pursuing and Paige is teaching him a thing or two. With each encounter Zac gets himself in a little bit deeper until he had to make a decision.
I like the fact that Paige took a physical attraction to Zac and wanted more from him than maybe both of them realized. They came to a crossroads in their time together and it had to be Zac who realized what he wanted in his life to make it more meaningful with Paige in it. It was a short sweet read but definitely flowed well and I would definitely want to read more by Ms. Jay.

satu-satunya alasan baca buku ini adalah karena mengusung tema 'cinta lama terpendam'
tapi ternyata tokoh ceweknya, Paige, sangat mengecewakan. ia sudah jatuh cinta kepada Zach sejak berumur 14 tahun. sekarang diumur 21 tahun Paige berniat menggoda Zach supaya memperhatikan dirinya. pada suatu pesta ia berhasil menarik perhatian Zach dengan keseksiannya. tak berapa lama kemudian ia juga berhasil menggiring Zach ketempat tidurnya. dari awal niatnya sih menikmati saat2 yang bisa didapatkannya dari Zach coz tau Zach antikomitmen.
tapi mungkin ini yang namanya dikasih hati minta jantung kali ya... waktu Zach minta nambah, paige malah jual mahal. alasannya, kalo Zach ga cinta jangan berani-berani mikir tempat tidur! mana nolaknya sesudah bikin Zach panas dingin lagi. ckckckckc... emang Paige sadis! apa karena stress setelah menunggu Zach sekian lama ya??

A very steamy read.
Zach maybe hot and sexy but he also a number one manwhore and there is not much he had not done.....sexually that is. He gets brought down by a love that he has denied and now no longer can resist.
Paige has been in love with him forever and finally works up the nerve to go for what she wants but his past is a lot to get past.....along with her brother. But she will not be denied her heart's desire.

I would have to give it a 2.5 stars...I found myself wanting..Wanting more of an emotional connection, more interaction, more banter...just more. Perhaps it was the length of the book. Eitherway I just felt like there was so much more potentional this book had and that we barely skimmed the surface of what this book could have been.

Dont let the four stars fool you cuz I loved this book. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was the length, I wanted...no, needed more! The sex was scorching, the story line was cute, and I really enjoyed watching their relationship evolve. Zach, he had me from the first scene. Actually, he had me at the description of the book...someone say sex club? I'm in!!!

Nggak terlalu suka sih baca cinta lama bersemi kembali dan yang memutuskan untuk merayu si cewek. Apalagi alasan dia kehilangan keperawanannya karena putus asa waktu dicuekin. :p

Zach and Paige great together, absolutely great, loved Zach’s character and how he changed from his old life that wasn’t the greatest into a better person once he started feeling for Paige… Loved the parts Zach got punched by Adam though. Ha-ha.

I love brother's best friend romance novels and this was an awesome one. I didn't know if Zach was ever going to get his shit together but he did and finally gave Paige just what she needed. His love!

This was OK. Not my favourite by this author, but entertaining. I found myself skimming through a lot of the sex though. It wasn't necessary to the story and I would have liked to read about more interactions of the MCs that weren't sexual.
