What the fuck did I just read???
Seriously!!!!!
It has been such a long time since I've been left completely messed up over a book and I have no bloody clue how to process it all.
I'm confused as shit and have so many questions I need answering I feel as though I'm going to be lost until I get them.
TL literally puts you through a meat grinder with Savage Collision and leaves you on a knifes edge of anguished anticipation at the end.
It's what she does best.
Don't fall for her cute, innocent face. She's evil. She likes to torture us with her mindfuckery words...but fuck, are they good!!!
I have no idea what to say about the book plot wise without giving the slightest bit away, so I'm not even going to try.
Just know, it's bloody good!!
It will confuse you. It will give you a million questions with no answers. And it will leave you cursing TL to high heavens for leaving it the way she did, but by god is it worth it.
Read it.
Love it.
And prepare to be mindfucked!!!

This was a pretty good read it was book 1 in the
"A Savage Love Duet"
series. This was a psychological thriller that was fast paced and full of action. Malinka had a horrible childhood her mother should not have had kids and she turned into a sex addict. Derrick comes into her life but he has issues also. Connick is also crazy but he wants to protect her. All three of them have some deep dark issues. This was my first time reading this author. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. This book left off on a cliffhanger and I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Mind games that T.L. Smith will take you on while reading Savage Collision is mind blowing and intense. Get ready to for a whirl-wind of psychological twists!
Without giving spoilers, I will say that Ms. Smith takes you on a crazy ride. There is nothing ordinary with her writing and books. Her work is flawless, intense and in depth which makes us as readers always coming back for more!
The complexity of Milanka was unimaginable. Striving to move forward, but always taking one step back in her demons and past. However, Connick changes her sights and directions with his knowledge of her (which she can't fathom how he knows her). I wish I could just talk about Connick, cause.. ahem...he is one filthy, alpha, sinfully man who will get your feathers ruffled up, in a great way! He is a man who always gets what he wants and he wants her!
Just when you think the plot will wind down, it will rank back up again and you are left hanging... wanting more. (hint.. cliffhanger!)

The blurb intriqued me more for what it doesn't say then I started to read and at 5% the author had me and I was hooked.
Milanka has a past steeped in pain, suffering and betrayal, reading her story I truly believe she was visited by evil. We get glimpses of her past but even she's not sure if what she dreams about are memories or if she is just imagining it all.
Milanka is trying to move forward and not give into temptation but sex is her way of coping and when she meets a new man Connick she can't resist what he's offering. Connick is a mysterious man who seems to know more than he's telling her what is his connection to Milanka. When her past and present collide the consequences could prove deadly.
For me this was an addictive book the more I read the more I wanted to know about them all. It's a two book series so be warned nothing is resolved and I for one can't wait till the next one in fact I know I'm going to be stalking the author.

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Is evil quantified the same way? How do we know how much evil we can withstand?
Milanka has been trying to overcome the evil that drowned her in her past. Trying, but it's hard because it's a part of her. Her triggers and copping methods need to some work.
Her past and her future collide in a spectacular way leaving her a ship without a rudder.
Savage Collision is clearly a two part story...(hint, cliffhanger)
It is savage in its destruction of a young girl. But that savagery has its own twisted beauty because she fights her demons daily. She may be broken but she tries to put her pieces back together daily.
She just didn't realize how many hands were deconstructing her at a time.
I am eager and yet hesitant to read book two. I'm afraid of my choices and Milanka's too. I guess we will have to wait and see.

Wow - this book blew my mind. Honestly I have no idea what I've read.
I cant't remember reading a book and being in a head of such a complex character with such a mixed up mind. Sometimes I couldn't follow my own thoughts trying to sort out Milankas mind.
Reading this book was pretty challenging for me but I'm very glad I gave it a chance. However, there were many parts in this book where I asked myself what did I get myself into not sure if I wanted to go on.
I am pretty amazed by how T.L. Smith worked with Connick. He's stays as much a mystery to me as reader as he does to Milanka. This ist fascinating. I didn't know I could fall for such a bad boy with even more dark sides than Milanka (and therefore me as reader) without actually knowing him or anything about him. But I was totally drawn to this man as Milanka was.
During the book I battled with myself if I want to read the second book or not. This is not a typical story I'm normally into. But this damn cliffhanger at the end made the decision for me: I SO need to know where this story is going!!! Can't believe T.L. Smith left us hanging like she did!!!

Have you ever had a feeling that there's unexplained things from your past, things that sometimes feel like they were real and other times not?
So does Milanka, she knows that some events from the past have changed her, changed her outlook, her thoughts and the choices that she sometimes makes toward her future. She is trying to move forward, whilst trying to keep one eye open to what's around her. She also knows that there are things in the past that are still unexplained!
That is until Connick enters her life, he's Tall, Dark & somewhat Dangerous looking not to mention Dangerous to her heart. He has this magnetic pull on her that she can't quite explain, is he good for her she is not yet so sure. What does he want from her, why does he seem familiar and how does he know so much about her.
T.L. Smith injected her signature move in Savage Collision and you will learn very quickly this is not a straight forward book, however this is more of a psychological Romance/Drama/Thriller that will keep you riveted to the edge of your seat until the very last page.
This book has an element for everyone of your emotions and just when you get over one you will be thrown a new one. It is a Brilliant read with the right amount of Dark and Twisted.

If you have read any of T.L Smith's books, you are well aware of the AWE factor she leaves you with at the end of the stories. Savage Collision is NO different, maybe even more so of am emotional rollercoaster. My mind went in so many circles trying to figure out all of the bits and pieces of the story. Milanka broke my heart from the very beginning and it only got worse throughout the entire story. Connick, Connick, OH. MY. Connick. So much too say and not enough at the same time. I will not put ANY spoilers in my review but WOW!!! Hold on tight because you will yearn for more when you get to the end of this story. So many things I wanna say about this story and I can't because I want ALL OF THE READERS to go through the mental BREAKDOWN I had while reading it from the very first page!!!!! Brilliant Brilliant Twisted read!!!!!

Derrick the man that stole her innocence and revealed her weakness haunts her dreams but he has found her and he's not happy that she walked away. He's complicated and cruel yet has women wrapped around his finger. Determined to take control of her life Milanka must choose her own path but can she ever become more than the men in her life think her to be? A psychological mind play, who is who and what do they want with her? With each glimpse of the truth the plot thickens and I was left with my pulse rate rocketing and more questions than answers. Savage Collision is the BEST psychological romance that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Connick and Milanka destroyed my mind and tortured me beautifully, from the very first word. I needed a massage after reading, as I was so tense from the anticipation and from not moving until I reached the end. Never before have I became one with a book quite like I did with Savage Collision.
Milanka had a brutal childhood and tried to get through life as best as she could. The way she dealt with her past was sometimes confronting, but understandable. Her character was amazing and she was deep had me mesmirised. Connick was this enigma that I was desperate to reveal and I became totally addicted to them both. T. L. Smith left us hanging with the ending, but I am sure that all will be revealed in Savage Reckoning.
T. L. Smith, in my opinion, reigns supreme in the Mystery/Suspense genre and has not been outclassed by any other author. Never before has my head been messed with in such a blissful way.
I was taken on a journey riddled with questions, violence, sex and suspense. the mystery is unravelled achingly slowly, which just drags you into their world even more. I became one with the characters and their story.
T. L. Smith delivers excellence with each book release. And every time, I am more astonished at the level of quality this author produces. I am stil on an emotional high from reading Savage Collision. The barre is set so high with some amazing authors who write supsense romances, but T. L. Smith is so far ahead of other authors. When an author can cause you to focus EVERYTHING on every word they write and leave you aching for more, well that is one author you hang onto and never let go.

God have mercy, this book was unfreakingbelievable. If you love dark, twisted and confusing books then this one is for you. This is the first book in the duet. I absolutely loved the ride and the journey that this author has brought us along. This is definitely a roller coaster at its finest.
You are going to be sitting on the Edge of your seat with suspense of what's going to happen next. You are going to be left with so many questions and I cannot wait for them to be answered in this duet.
If you haven't read this book yet, then I suggest you do because I bloody loved this dark twisted book so much!

OMG I can't even process what I just read! This book... I just...I can't... I HAVE NO WORDS!!! I think I'm stick in shock because I can't function right now. I need more so so much more and I need it now. I would love to give a summary of the book but there are so many secrets and twists that any insight could ruin the experience. I will say this all these characters are completely messed up, not one of them is sane but I absolutely love Milanka and Connick. I want to know more about them and I want/need to know what lies ahead.

Where do I begin with review, Its so hard to write anything when you have had your head battered by a story, that leaves you confused and completely at a loss for words. I really enjoyed the ride don't get me wrong. It's just how do you explain anything to anyone else when your unsure yourself.
Milanka is a strange character but you can see she is living in a whole world of fear and panic. She never let's anyone in and as the story goes on you get to see why. Her past haunts her and her now isn't much better. Connick is a man of mystery and I have a feeling that he will either save her or break her.
This book is about survival and I only hope that the next part will see Malinka become whom she should have always been and that the ghosts from her past are put well and truly to rest. I recommend this book so much but the cliffhanger is a killer but the wait I am sure will be worth it.

I have no idea where to start this review. This was a complete and utter mind f*ck but it was oh so good!!! This was my first TL Smith book and I am so glad I've finally popped this cherry!! Her writing is fluid, the characters are believable, relatable, so much so that I journeyed on the rollercoaster with Milanka and Connick from the very first chapter until the end.
If you love it dark, if you enjoy edge of your seat confusion and suspense in the best way possible, then you need to one click this NOW! However, this is ONLY book one!!! There's more!!! And I need it right the fuck now!!!

I have a difficult time connecting to the characters and story, but the read is quick enough to uncover the secret and move onto the sequel. Not great, but quick enough to plow through just to see what's ahead. It bothers me how crude Derrick is and how the police aren't involved. Very strange. The characters all seem like figments of people I would be interested in, but there's not enough meat on the bone to get me invested.

Nothing and I mean nothing is ever what it seems and you continually second guess yourself wondering, or rather wanting to know what happens. That's how T.L draws you in.
She is a master mind of psychological torment. And I loved every minute of it.
In the first instalment of the Savage Love Duet series, we meet Milanka.
A young woman with demons that are never far behind. A past so tortured and scarred. all Milanka ever does is run, but it always catches her. It finds her and invades her every thought. She is a broken soul.
We also meet Connick. All male, sinfully delicious, dark and dangerous. He is a man that always gets what he wants. And what wants is her. She will be his, she just doesn't know it yet.
And Derrick. He will stop at nothing to have the woman he has always loved. He will have her no mater the cost.
Three people.
Three pasts.
Three tormented souls that will ultimately be brought together.
But at what cost?
I honesty can't offer much more than this guys, because this novel needs to be read.
Edgy, dark with a whole lot of psychological twists that you will never see coming and will leave you void of any normal thought process. It will leave you with a messy mind and incoherent thoughts and constantly second guessing. And you couldn't ask for anything more than that in this novel.

T.L. you have done it once again! You made us feel like we needed to be institutionalized after reading this dark mind fudge that we couldn’t get enough of. I’m convinced we are just as crazy as these three characters cause it is manipulation, torment and twisted and we still cannot wait for the conclusion of where this is going. This is book one in a duet (Savage Love) and if this is the first book you have ever read by T.L. you are in for a ride of your life and will not be disappointed. She draws you in and leaves us with a sinfully dangerous read that leaves us wanting to land the man that is oh so wrong for us and evil.
In this book, we meet three people (Milanka, Connick and Derrick) with a past and tormented souls that when put together collide for a crash course and leave you on edge waiting to see which dangerous hottie is going to succeed with their plan. Derrick played with Milanka like a puppet on a string years ago and still continues to taunt her. He is certifiably crazy yet appealing (what is wrong with me for liking him?) and claims to love her. Oh, there is a twist here and you will be left with your month hanging open quite a few times. Then we meet Connick who is so wrong for Milanka, but oh so right. Between the suspense of these two men and how they know so much is actually kinda creepy, but one of them will land their prize possession (Milanka).
There is so much I want to say and cannot as it will be giving spoilers and you will not get those from me. So, all I can really say is grab this mind fudge read and hold on cause your emotions are put to the test and leaves you second guessing if you are crazy for enjoying these types of reads. Especially when quite a few bomb droppers are given to us at the end. We Collided in part one and hopefully will be Reckoned in part two. You will be in AWE at the end and let’s hope these twists and turns don’t break us in part two. What I am saying, of course we will be broken it is a book written by T.L.! T.L. Smith is an author that I have learned to NEVER underestimate! She always finds a way to have me in complete awe of her words and never seems to amaze me when it comes to plot twists. The intensity of her complex characters draw you in deep and keep you begging for more. Savage Collision was no different! This story was dark, deep, and dangerous and it has me anxiously awaiting the next installment, Savage Reckoning. With an ending like that, who can resist reading book two?!
Milanka doesn't have the best life or a childhood that she can look back on with a smile. With a mother that was anything but sober and a sex addict, things were horrible while she was growing up. She never felt safe and things haven't exactly changed much since then. Yeah, she's not living with her mother anymore but that doesn't stop her from constantly having to look over her shoulder. Milanka, like most, has her own personal demons and things she regrets, but, unlike most, some things are hard for her to decipher from reality. This explains why she lives the way she does now.
She works, she goes home, and a lot of the time, her promiscuity has her consumed with guilt. Of course, you would guess that she would turn out addicted to sex with random partners and a false name because of the mother who was supposed to raise her, but is that really why? Maybe other factors are the result of her lifestyle. Over the years, nothing changes until she meets Him. Milanka never even thought of sleeping with the same partner more than once until Connick.
But why? What is it that has Milanka so drawn to Connick? Why does someone like him keep coming back to someone like her? Can Milanka actually trust this man enough to keep seeing him or will someone from her past creep back into their lives, rip them apart, and mark his claim on Milanka once and for all.
I can't urge people enough to read this book. The suspense, the sex, the secrets! That should be enough to make you want to read it. This is the best psychological/dark/romance book that I've read in a VERY long time and I promise that you will love it!! Biting my nails and losing sleep while in wait of book two!!!!

What did I just read? I feel like this book chewed up all the logic in my brain and spat it right back at me.
My heads been in a washing machine, been in a dryer but still come out soiled.
I've read previous books by TL Smith, been taken on the highs and lows, taken to the edge, through darkness and pain but these characters are something different altogether.
Milanka's story starts off as a girl with a prostitute of a mother living in a one bedroomed trailer, sex is a regular event in the tiny trailer and Milanka sees and is surrounded by things children should not be subject to.
She's a loner with her jumbled up twisted thoughts and dreams her only company, a stranger to trust, she's a survivor but yet weak, a sex addict but a prude, Milanka is a contradiction, a complex character who is desired by, obsessed by, infatuatated and consumed by, two men.
Milanka:
He plays with me like I'm his own personal possession and I hang on every touch and pull he gives me.
Derrik is the high school boyfriend she left behind. He'd pimped her out to his friends and used her in unimaginable ways but even years later won't let her go, she moves, she runs and he finds her, its beyond obsession.
Connick enters the scene later and becomes a man of mystery with a dark edge but also reveals the same fervid obsession.
Milanka:
I'm in love with a man who has more secrets than the devil himself, I was born to a mother who shouldn't have been a mother and I have a crazy ex-boyfriend who I can't seem to escape.
His entry into my life was savage we collided in a way I didn't see coming.
The plot contains sex, lots of sex, twists and turns told in Milanka's pov.
It's psychological, scary, maddening I can't sumn it up but can only look forward to the next story and continuation in this Duet.
He scares me.He friends me. He steals me. I let him.

How do I even begin to explain this book?! T. L. Smith never seizes to amaze me with her highly addictive dark and sexy romances. I couldn't help in gravitating towards this story when I had initially heard about it. I wasn't disappointed. Yet again I was blown away by this author's impeccable writing and riveting storyline. Savage Collision has everything that I love about this author's romances and so much more. This tantalizing and compelling romance had me hooked from the first page to the last. At first, I thought I knew what to expect having read several of this author's books. But there were so many twists and turns throughout this story that I couldn't help in being on the edge of seat the entire time. It's not your typical romance but there was something about this book that grabs a hold you and doesn't let go until the very end. It's unlike anything that I've read before. Malinka and Connick are not the typical couple you expect in contemporary romances. It was refreshing to see characters with their own flaws and insecurities. Both characters are struggling with own demons from their pasts. Not to mention the dangers from individuals that threaten their relationship. Honestly this romance was much more of a psychological thriller that I expected to be and I loved every minute of it. There are still many unanswered questions and secrets that have yet to be revealed. I'm very intrigued in seeing how Milanka and Connick's story will unfold and what more mysteries will be unearthed in the next installment of this duet. It's a definite must read that shouldn't be missed. Savage Collision is a dark and twisted romance that will leave you wanting more.

I don't even know how to begin my review of this book. This story was not what I thought it was going to be. I never expected this at all. It wasn't a bad story but when I came to the cliffhanger ending it didn't leave me dying to read the next book. It was okay! It wouldn't bother me one way or another if I read the next book but I have no intention of purchasing it. This story has too much and not enough going on at the same time. There's a lot of secrets being kept and not enough being revealed. There's a lot of sex and don't get me wrong the scenes are hot, but other than secrets, sex and stalkers the story is lacking. That seems like enough to keep the story interesting but it didn't. It's missing that something for me that would have made this story a great read for me. It had so much potential but for me it fell short. Milanka is weak!!!! I wanted to throat punch her for making such stupid choices and yeah she has her issues but she just goes along with everything. EVERYTHING!!!! Her mother is as useless as they come. Derrick and Nicole are both crazy. Connick is protective with stalker tendencies and although it was revealed who he is to Derrick he still seems a mystery. I just really don't care enough to find out how this story ends. Every book will not be for everyone and this story was just missing something for me.

This was my first read by TL Smith, and what really pulled me in to this story was the blurb, the hint of darkness and betrayal. Some people just have no luck at all, and it would seem that Milanka is one of those people, from her very bad childhood and then everything that follows really has you wondering how she is still going. Milanka does things a bit different, and until she meets a stranger in the coffee shop, she has no issues with the way things are. Connick is different from what Milanka normally goes for, and the fact that days later she is still thinking of him, is definitely not her style. There is more to Connick than Milanka would ever guess, but she doesn't heed anyone's warnings, Will she regret this in the end?

This is a hard book to review when trying to keep it completely spoiler free. You need to go into this book blind to fully appreciate the plot, characters and emotions so this will be a vague review.
Milanka hasn't had the best start in life and it's left her with plenty of psychological issues to deal with. She's doing her best to move on but it seems for every step forward she takes, she always ends up two steps behind. Milanka is a very complex, complicated woman and she has this fragility about her that made me want to wrap her up in bubble wrap and protect and look after her. You can feel her confusion and determination as you're reading and she's very easy to like.
Connick is surrounded with this air of mystery. He intrigued me. Why does he do the things he does? Is there more to him? Why do I find him so unbelievably hot?
This book has loads of hot sex in it. It's full of twists, turns and suspense. Throw in some secrets, manipulation, betrayal and plenty of confusion and it will mess with your mind. It did mine. It will leave you with unanswered questions. It will take you through a range of emotions and it will leave you desperate for the next book.
