Now, don't get me wrong here. There were many great elements to this book. Which was why it got 3 stars from me. The reasons why I couldn't give more, was because of these two deal breakers for me...
1. This story did not focus on the main couple's personal connection enough for me. It had all the elements that the synopsis gives for this book, but they weren't really explored in depth enough to make me feel like "WOW! Lorenzo & Chase are epic together. Their love and plight just can't be denied!"... THIS is what I was hoping to feel with these two, but was left wanting in that way. Part of this issue was because there are too many other couples' revisits in this book, that took center stage away from Lorenzo&Chase. And when you add that to the other major elements needed to tell the story of the plot as to why Chase & Lorenzo's worlds were intertwined to begin with; their story together as a couple, suffers.
2. MAJOR PLOT HOLE- The truth of Lorenzo's parents and how he came to be and how certain things were easily kept secret. If you read this you'll know EXACTLY what I'm talking about the moment you read this reveal. It's like how could something so major be overlooked when explaining it all. SMH.
So these are the main reasons why this was not the 5 star read that I was anticipating.
Everything else that contributed to this tale was well thought out though. Had enough mystery surrounding these people that it kept me interested and wanting to know how it would come to a close. So this is why I gave the fair rating of the 3 stars.
Though the true Villains here, I felt their payback should have ended with a much better bang, and the less rushed thud, that we get instead. But oh well, that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes.

Beautiful
This was a very beautiful story. I was happy everything worked out for Lorenzo and Chase. Of course I was disappointed in the betrayals. Sometimes it’s the ones that are closest to you hurt you the most and that’s what’s really sad about it. Nevertheless, the one big happy family that was shown in the book was quite a lovely sight.
This author writes beautiful stories and I look forward to her other works that she has in store for us.

This was a great love story. I am glad that Chase and Lorenzo got their HEA. It was also good that the mole in the FBI was caught and other info that the main characters were trying to resolve was finally revealed. I love the way that Kasey Martin writes her stories and she is now one of my favorite authors.

Loved It!!!
I really loved this story. And what I loved the most was that there decent time between things. They didn't have sex right away and there were months between some of the sequences. It made the story so much more believable

Fantastic Book
I enjoyed reading this book so much! I enjoyed Chase and Lorenzo journey to love! I enjoyed the storyline and the chemistry between them as well! It was awesome catching up with the rest of the characters from the previous books! Such a fantastic book!

Chase & Lorenzo
Learning to forgive can lead you to the love of your life. I am glad Lorenzo forgave her for not telling him when they met that she was a federal agent.true love prevailed in the end.Glad Mike and Chase worked out their difference I knew he was in love with her the way he protested her and Lorenzo being together. Mike found love in the end .only thing I didn't like was the Daniel was really dead .I was on mike's theory that he was alive. I was a bit confused though because when Bear & Heart got married they said Tony and Korri's wedding was in three months but it wasn't. I would recommend Heart's desire and chasing desire I loved both of these books. Keep writing good stories like these.

Chasing secrets, betrayal and finding love. Very intense romantic suspense, pulling back the layers of attraction and the dangerous action surrounding "family" and collateral damage. I have absolutely fell in love with this series and all of the characters involved. I don't even usually read this type of romance because of the dark elements but I am captivated by this authors' writing style and have gobbled up everything I could find. I love that the attraction in undeniable and how open they become as they lay "work" aside and really get to know one another and despite the seriousness of their predicament, there are several laugh-out-loud moments thrown in to sweeter the plot.

Good read
I love this author. This book was very well written. Got to get the conclusion from previous characters stories. And got to read about some new ones as well. It was a bit difficult to keep up with all of the twist and turns that was offered in this book. I'm sure if it wasn't for my 3 kids and mother's day weekend, things would have been a lot easier. Lol. Love the book. Love the conclusion. Will recommend this book for those who has the ability to sit down for a good read.

Okay read...
It was okay, it was confusing since there wasn't a back story of the main characters Chase & Lorenzo. There are still questions that needed to be answered. Certain chapters, like the chapter of Korri and her man. That was unnecessary, they don't have anything to do with Chase, Lorenzo, or the case. So I found it irrelevant. There were some grammatical errors. The suspense on who killed Chase's partner was intriguing. It was one of the reasons, I continued to read.

Loved this well written, exciting, love story...
The characters in this story were so well developed and the story line was exciting and original, it kept me guessing and intrigued all the way through. Loved the way Lorenzo and Chase fell in love and the hot steamy sex scenes were toe curling.
This is the first time I've read anything from this author but from what I've read, I will definitely be buying more books by her.

Well Done!!
This was action ,mystery and romance done so well .The writer pulls you in with a tale of dead agents and the mob.I love when you a have a developed storyline with good dialogue and good solid character development.The chemistry between the two main characters leaps off the page and you feel good everytime they are in a scene together.This was a complete story that captures you and holds tight till.The end.

Loved this series
As I complete this book it is bitter sweet. I really enjoyed all three books in this series and would gladly read more if there will be more in the future. These couples are so compatible and also loved the mention of the two new couples at the end. Who doesn’t love a happy ending and a book that keeps you guessing throughout. Though I am really sad that Danny didn’t make it.

I really enjoyed this cute love story. Chase and Lorenzo were a really cute couple who fell in love while she worked undercover to solve the murder of her former partner in the FBI. There's a lot of twists and turns and you'll be surprised with the resolution of that case and also Lorenzo's big revelation concerning his familial ties. There's also great tie-in with Charlie and Jake and also Korri and Tony. All having HEA. Really liked this series.

Lorenzo is a dream
Chase and Loreno's relationship began under false pretenses but their feelings for each other were real. So glad Chase decided to go for what she wanted instead of what was best for her career. It was great catching up with the rest of the gang and hope there's more to come.

Another great addition to the Chasing series
This series just gets better every time a new book is added. I love that the previous couples are always featured when a new one is introduced and the story lines keep you captivated with each page turned. I will admit that I didn't think Chase an FBI Agent and Lorenzo a former Mobster would work out, I kept thinking she was going to finally discover that he WAS still "in" with the family her heart would be shattered. But it didn't come to that and as always we readers were blessed with our HEA. I will be looking forward to the next installment.

Fabulous Story!
Wow, wow, wow. Chase and Lorenzo are just perfect for each other and they've both been through so much in their life. Betrayal, hurt, close shave with death and turmoil but they found a kindred spirit and unbreakable bond with each other. They also found something else they never had before in the real sense. The love of a new extended family. Great story!

An enjoyable read
I liked the story, it just had so many moving parts to it. Initially I was feeling like it was all over the place, but the author managed to tie up the story up in a tight blessed bow. I didn't realize that it was a series with the characters having other stories that I might have wanted to read before, yet it was all good. Nice job.

The truth hurts
This book was not your typical BWWM romance book. There was suspense and so many twists and turns, it kept me guessing. I really liked Chase and Lorenzo together. It was also nice to get updates on Jake and Charlie. HEAs all around.

Plenty of suspense and romance
I really enjoyed reading this book. I was so surprised about all of the revelations. I loved Chase and Lorenzo's interaction. Sometimes you can't help who or how you fall in love with. I am definitely ready for the next book on the series.

Revenge & Romance
The story picks up after where the previous left. I won't spoil the whole books both they each other support when secrets are revealed by those who close to them. On paper they wouldn't seem to work as a couple. However, the author makes it work & believable. I am glad a majority of questions are answered & the couple stays together.

Healthy Friendships
