The Alpha Series Boxed Set #1-3: Alpha Kaden, Alpha Grayson and Alpha Jasper

Rate this book
Everyone knows of Alpha Kaden, a man of twisted riddles and cryptic puzzles. His identity is one of them. His touch, another. He is feared throughout all 13 packs for his reputation of stealing young women out of their beds. And tonight he has come to steal Mara to make her a player in his wicked game.

Lexia has been an unwilling member of the Vengeance Pack since she was kidnapped by Alpha Kaden at the age of thirteen. Previously a member of the Discipline Pack, she now plans an uprising to take down the Alphas and unify the 13 Packs.

Dark stories of the Devotion pack’s haunting from the terrifying undead Phantom Wolves have circulated for years but Thea had never believed the rumors. That is until she met Jasper; the confident and magical missing Alpha of the pack and newly reincarnated Phantom Wolf. He also happens to be her destined mate.

Needs a lot of help

I rarely if ever give such a low rating. I have to be honest. The characters were one dimensional and shallow. They didn't stay true to their characters and shifted from one personality to another just within a few chapters. The writing was choppy and the scene creation unfinished. I couldn't get into any of the characters at all. They were very superficial. This book is like a weird love child of Divergent and Twilight. The 'voice' of the author was rushed and it all left me confused and regretting spending my very little alone time reading it. There might be something here once the author refines their writing style a lot and simplifies the story. She needs to really flesh out her characters and make them more solid as people. Just my opinion. But I always encourage others to judge for themselves.

I would recommend this book bundle instead of reading theses stories individually because the stories interlink. They all offer something different and aren't the unusual shifter fairytales.

I have reviewed them individually on their own pages however overall I rate them as 4 out of 5.

I read the first book in the series and found it a unique take on the wolf shifter world. There are twelve packs and I'll admit to finding it a bit much, keeping track of all of the packs, although the pack names were descriptive of their core beliefs.

Mara is young and in a pack that believes in good and evil, the pack being good, most everyone else evil. She is restricted from going out due to the danger from Alpha Kaden who takes girls from their pack never to return them.

Kaden is the evil alpha--isn't he? She's about to find out when he kidnaps her. What is going to happen now? She has no idea. An adventure is hardly what happens. She's offered as mate to Kaden's brother who seems none too thrilled. Her feelings toward Kaden aren't what she expected. Oh, she thinks he's horrible. They have verbal battles, contests, all the while he never touches her skin. Weird. As she forges alliances, not sure she can really trust them, she tries to escape.

What will happen if she escapes? What truths has she missed? Can she trust anyone? There is a level of violence she is unprepared for from her upbringing? Will she be able to adapt?

So many questions. So many mysteries. So many clues. So many false leads. Pay close attention to this one if you want to keep up. This is not your average wolf shifter read.

*voluntarily and honestly reviewed the ARC I received from Inkitt*

So far this is like a 4.8 for me but five stars nonetheless for Alpha Kaden! The whole thing would've been utterly perfect if not for two instances that just didn't make sense when compared to the entirety of the book, but still. Seriously. Wow. I liked the built up relationship between Kaden and Mara. I'm a total sucker for the hate-first-love-later romances, so to see them grow from one point to another was entertaining in itself. The packs' names and bit were a little bleh and reminded me of a certain other segregated world, but I didn't find it too distracting. I loved the twist in the plot and it was interesting seeing some characters change on me. The ending was a bit of a cliffhanger but not so much that I was left unsatisfied. I'll definitely be checking out more of this author.

A wonderful touch to the werewolf universe. So many packs, so many alphas, rivals, and etc. I just love how each and every single alpha was able to find their significant one with a trial that Fate has set out for them. As each and every single one of them go through it without ease. I find myself at awe for reading this series and hyped to see what else is there up ahead of them. The trials, the journeys, the decisions that they have to make. I can feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins as I visualize each scene of the story as I continue on reading. Ah! I just love the thrill!

Gotta love those Alphas!!

This 3 book series was pretty good, the story line was interesting but also at the same time it was sweet and loving, I can't wait to find out what happens to the other Alphas.. And what Fates secret is.. The only problem is the book has a lot of typos but it's easy to look past them because it's still a good book..

I enjoyed reading this set... This contains 3 books about Alphas of packs with names that represents the pack... ( Sleepy is "sleepy"... Dopey is "dopy") I think I enjoyed the 3rd book in this series most.. I recommend this book to anyone over the age of 18....

Kaden

First the cover is creepy when the depiction of Kaden is of a young man. The book states it's a paranormal werewolf book but it just throws out a few times of them being a wolf. It bothered me that the alphas didn't have super hearing. I really didn't get the significance of the riddles and games. It had potential but it seemed it was missing something.

Books 1-3

Good read. There were some things that seemed inconsistent in the story line but over all they were still good books. They were a little slow to build up but with the wait.

Amazing

I found these books really amazing, the author is so great that she enables the readers to feel exactly what the characters are feeling to the point you want to protect and hope for the characters.

Outstanding collection of three jam packed suspenseful shifter thrillers. The variety of packs with their unique characteristics and powerful Alphas are guaranteed to keep a lover of shifter adventures enthralled. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Each one is a Five star!
ALPHA KADEN
OMG!  The mystery and suspense is outstanding!  It was exciting learning about the many different packs and their Alphas.  The surprising twists and turns kept me glued to the pages.  I literally could not put it down.  Kaden, the Boogie man Alpha turns out to be something more.  Hidden power struggles are shocking.  A wonderful, colorful cast of characters adds a smorgasbord of flavors and continual interest.  This story stands heads and shoulders above the average shifter stories.  The most thrilling shifter story I have ever read.
ALPHA GRAYSON
WOW! This story of Lexia & Grayson is just as suspenseful, and captivating as the story of Alpha Kaden. There is a man that uses magic to control people to do his bidding. His goal is to set off a war among all the various packs. A surprising twist reveals other nefarious plans from other individuals. There is mystery, intense suspense and several fascinating storylines within this story of Grayson. Overall, the story is complex, a cast of colorful characters and a paranormal world with unbelievable dimensions. A lover of shifter stories will be astounded by the detail and action without anyone shifting once.
ALPHA JASPER
Thea is a member of the Devotion pack which struggles under the fearsome terror of the Phantom Wolves. She has never believed in the tales but is aware of the superstition surrounding her. A new neighbor moves into the forested area, a man that will forever turn her world upside down. It is Alpha Jasper who has been missing for hundreds of years. A man of great mystery, formidable secrets and awesome powers. The teaming up of Jasper & Thea sets off a journey of self discovery, of rescue, of loss, of new hope for a brighter tomorrow. One gets to meet several of the colorful packs, learn of their various beliefs and meet both kind and evil members. Unbelievable imagination that can create such a world with such detail is outstanding.
