This is one steamy read... full blast fire and makes you feel the shivers...
Type of story you devour in one sitting...
An older man younger woman romance...

Caleb is an older man who works with Ava's father. They meet at a party and the meeting is fatal.Caleb is interested in Ava like never before.And Ava can't forget him either.
I would like it if H called h something else then baby.. so many many times...oh well

So if you like your stories lascivious and heady this is the book to dive into.
Throw in the mix some hot older fox with inexperienced young thing and I am all over it...still not sure on the book beside being short and hot?!? ... there's sweet ending...
..well I enjoyed it ... enough

A really good instalove story!

I have to say, I read some of the other reviews and I have to disagree with a few. Yes, it does mention what a player he was, but it wasn’t as overdone as some have said. It ALMOST kept me from reading it and I’m glad I didn’t let them sway me. I love Lauren’s books and haven’t been disappointed yet.

This book shows how a man with a broken heart does things the only way he knows to keep from being hurt again. Yes, he was a man that kept women at arm’s length, but he didn’t hesitate to give his heart when he finally did find his true soulmate. I loved his persistence with a scared younger woman. He didn’t give up on her even when she kept trying to run away from him. This was a great read. I just wish we had an epilogue that showed a few years out….

Sometimes you need to trust yourself

I liked this story a lot. It was entertaining and enjoyable for the most part. Caleb was really hard for me to like at first but he won me over. There were some good messages in the story that made me feel good. Caleb was very understanding and supportive of Ava. He was also sweeter with her than I expected given how he acted at first. Ava came into being more of her authentic self with Caleb and with others because she had Caleb. I liked how the story ended although I wish there was an epilogue further out. I recommend reading this book.

This was a very short and easy read. I wasn't expecting it to be based sexual encounters with little to no character building. The main characters never really faced any challenges and this whole romance happened in only a couple days, not including the last paragraph.

I have to admit that the first thing that threw me off was that I actually know someone named Caleb Ryan and I couldn't help but think of him while I read the book and that kind of weirded me out!

This book wasn't the worst thing I've read but it sure won't be a memorable book for me.

I loved this short read. I normally roll my eyes a little at the insta-love stories but this one just felt right. Both MCs were like able and Caleb was just so sweet and caring. This is the perfect read if you’re looking for a quick age gap romance. I highly recommend it.

Ok. So. Age gap but the MMC acts like a douche most of the time (not to the FMC just like. A bro bro that is full of himself) it’s annoying. He’s 100% about himself the whole time and she is just an item in the story.
It’s fine if that’s what she’s SUPPOSED to be but we’re here being told this is a fast romance story but. It’s not. It’s an age gap with a MMC that knows he’s hot shit and uses it the WHOLE TIME. It’s not fun. It’s just annoying.

This was an okay book. The characters took a bit for me to warm up to, but I eventually did. I don't like when there's an age difference of more than just 2-3 between characters, so the book lost a star for that. It just is something I don't like. Beyond that, it was pretty decent. I was gifted an exclusive copy.

Very good

The author is newish to me but I've gotten to enjoying her books. Have to say that the H, to me, took a turn from arrogant a-hole to just a cocky guy who's a bit of a goof. Now the h has some hot and cold moments but they're not over and over again. All in all i would definitely recommend.

DNF!

2 Stars because Lauren Milson hit published and that's not a easy thing to do. This was a DNF for me. I gave up around 25%.....I'm a quitter. If you like a lot of sex and crude talking H then this is the book for you.

He seems a bit immature, or, more accurately, "ultra frat guy" male, but at least he didn't jump her and leave her. Hot and steamy. Dad was a jerk, but it all ends in a HEA so that is all that matters!
