May 10, 2017It’s unnatural to review a book by one’s guru, so I will just say my mantra, choose a page at random, and quote it:
“To the query as to where the people go after death, the backward man discovered ghosts and spirits in his mind for an answer. The frightful and uncommon events, whose causes he could not divine or figure out, he accepted as the works of ghosts and spirits, and the Vipra made capital out of this human fear of ghosts and tricked people out of their money, posing himself as an exorcist.”
[Here “Vipra” may be taken to mean “priest.”]
