Split Ends

Rate this book
Williamson’s poems explore the realities of recovering a lost past through visceral stories of family truths. Unflinching, the poet interrogates, seeking understanding and freedom. Love, human relations and children are a central theme in poems that portray a freshly explored present, but even here, nothing is taken for granted.

Claire Williamson has had two narrative poetry collections published, Ride On (2005, POTA Press) and The Soulwater Pool (2008, Poetry Can). She also writes prose, scripts and has been commissioned by organisations such as Welsh National Opera and Bristol Plays Music to write libretti. Claire is Programme Leader for Metanoia Institute’s MSc in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes.
