Another Great Installment in The Forever Winter Chronicles
I am required to say I was given a free copy of the book by the author when I joined his newsletter mailing list with no expectation on his part of receiving a positive review and no expectation on my part of any additional remuneration.
I don’t believe in reviewers giving a detailed synopsis of the book. I feel that is the job of the author to get people to read the book and it is the job of the reviewer to give an honest review. KM Fortune’s novel, Judgement (Volume 4) (The Forever Winter Chronicles) is an installment of a serial novel, therefore it does not work as a stand-alone piece. I do not like to give spoilers, so in a way, I cannot say all that I would like to about the dystopian world Ms. Fortune has created, except that if you accept the initial premise of the story, this new world is truly believable. This wasn’t just a technically well-written installment, it was a good read. Besides being well-written, it was also well-edited and well-proofed, something you do not always find with Indie Authors. The story is fast-paced and did not need a lot of action to maintain the reader’s interest. The dialogue was credible and authentic. It was not stilted and was never forced or simply a foil of the plot. The characters were lifelike, complex, well rounded, and well thought out.
KM Fortune has put together a well written and interesting read. This is a story driven by a strong central character, with action and dialogue that pull the story together.

I enjoyed this book very much! I love this series! There is so much going on in this particular book. The suspense kept me flipping the pages. Some happy, some sad, some challenging situations. KM Fortune just gets better with each book. This is very well written. I highly recommend reading this series.
