Andrea, a Brigham Young University graduate, is an avid reader and outdoor enthusiast (hiking, fishing, boating, biking, spending time in the Rocky Mountains, and taking walks). She spent a year and a half serving the Spanish speaking community in Toronto, Canada, and fluently speaks 2 ½ languages. She plays several instruments, not including the banjo, and loves putting together musical arrangements. Her favorite sports are basketball and football, though several knee surgeries and incurably awful coordination prevent her from playing them.

Andrea is always in the mood for a good movie with close friends and family (especially her husband and mom), with a large glass of milk and a bowl of overly buttered popcorn nearby. She also enjoys oil painting, making earrings, squeezing every bit of oxygen out of Ziploc bags, and she hopes to someday travel to Italy and Alaska.

Andrea Pearson has once again managed to seamlessly continue the story from book.8. In the Mosaic Chronicles. No spoilers here! I would recommend that you read the previous titles in this series, to get an understanding of the story. It is not a stand alone book. By doing this you will find the story has a well defined beginning, middle and end. The plots was described well enough to be able to see in the minds eye, without being flooded with to much information. You become engaged from the very beginning and not let off until the very end. Forget sleep once you start this book, as I couldn't put it down. The story had an edge to edge seat kind of quality, as the action kicked off immediately and continued non-stop, until the end. The main characters of the series was once again present, but you still learned new tidbits of information about them as and when needed. the dialogue was strongly tied to character development and told through the leads characters mind. I prefer this as it made it feel more real. I have loved this series, and the way the author was able to insert other characters from her other books into the story was a great idea. I was able to feel the emotions of the characters and that is not easy to do, so it's a compliment to the author to have the talent to do so. This last story is full of desperation, betrayal, loneliness, friendship, determination, love and much more. I felt myself slowing down near the end as I didn't want the book and series to end, I finished it with a sad smile. The saying as one door shuts, another opens is a complete truth about the ending, and I look forward to reading more of Andrea Pearson's books. So instead of finality, it can be Bon voyage. This book is in the right genre of fantasy, and I would recommend to any age to give it a go. It has been a rollercoaster of situations and emotions.

In this exciting and explosive ninth, and final installment of the Mosaic Chronicles, it's all about the action, and ultimate resolution to Jacob and Nicole's joint journey to rid the world, once and for all, of an evil that has plagued both the Mosaic and Kilenya books. The extent of what Keitus has been able to accomplish is magnified, and we are once again also having to deal with rogue fire pulsers, evil creatures not seen before, a truly insane powerful mad spirit, and another trip to the old ones who just may not let our main characters return from their dimention.
In the capable hands of Andrea Pearson, all of this is very very good. Amongst the devistation, there is also much light and love. The main characters band closer together, and we see some needed and welcome resolution to Nicole and Austin's relationship.
Fans of young adult clean paranormal horror, who don't mind the more than occasional nod back to the weird fiction of H. P. Lovecraft, and the characters that haunt his classic tales, will find themselves at home while living on the edge of their seats up to the final pages. Together the nine books of the Mosaic Chronicles make for a wonderful and crazy ride, and Mrs. Pearson's storytelling is in top form. When added to the six books of the Kilenya cycle, plus the Kilenya romances and other side and future projects in this universe, this becomes quite a multiverse that I'm sure many of us wish we could live in, or at least extensively visit many times.
This book, as well as anything Andrea Pearson has written in this world, comes with my highest recommendation. Well worth the purchase price.

Waving farewell with hope and a heart filled with inspiration! The entire Mosaic Chronicles has been perfectly suited to reading aloud to anyone from upper middle school to your elderly grandparent, as much of mine has been. It is filled with thrills, continuous heart dropping action, humor, vivid new worlds and dimensions, exoticly peopled, by some exquisitely beneficial to society, some evil, some prefering to remain alone, creatures and monsters of many varieties, we are graced to meet. Andrea's pictures and pages are so well crafted they allow us to step seemlessly forward and enter into the ever changing places and racing action alongside her characters.

Each character no matter how peripheral is well thought out and brought to life before our eyes. They are given a believable depth and place. If they remain, they attain a history just as out friends and even our aqauintances in real life become known to us. It happens so naturally in the writing we don't seem to notice. That is the true magic of a great writing, no matter the genre clamed, to create a believable memory for their readers! In this Andrea Pearson excells! She is at the top of her craft. Andrea is also able to infuse something more illusive into her books other than a lasting good story and inticate, excting plot line, a sense of morals and hope. If you truly connect with this author, you are left with a feeling of peace and good will after finishing one of her books. Enough said, on to the story.

In the last Mosaic Chronicle, Nicole and her team of supporters had made progress, but Keitus was still ahead of them. He had aquired all but the final of the four talismans as well as the amulet to unite them. Keitus had also magically chained a previous guardian of the library of Shonlin inside, keeping Nicole from seeking its aide until she managed to defeat and remove her. We take up our tale with Nocole again inside Shonlin ready for battle.

We have seen not only Nicole progress in her powers during this series, but mature as a person. She still is very young and has plenty of faults. These she tries to face as she knows weakness of all kinds can be a downfall not just in magic. Nicole has many who have helped her developement as a person and in her study of her Arete abilities. As we have seen with the allies she has gathered around her, we have been allowed glimpses into her thoughts and feelings, the changes she desires for herself as opposed to those accomplished. With life and in this fiction, there are setbacks. This allows us to really get involved with the people Andrea creates! There will be hard decisions and sacrifices before any chance of defeating Keitus in this final battle. Will Nicole be up to making these choices? Has she gained both the magical ability required and the maturity needed to prevail against the odds she faces?

This culmination to the Mosaic Chronicles satisfies every expectation and exceeds it! It is possible I have said this before, but only because it it is true, this is the best book in the series. If you read it, you will want to start at the beginning of the series to fill in any you might have missed. If you have not read Kilenya you will hunger for that series too. Get it now! I was gifted a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

WILL THEY WIN? If you like fantasy, magic and adventure, you will like this book. Withhold is Book Nine in the Mosaic Chronicles series (previously known as Katon University series). While it helps if you have read the previous Mosaic Chronicles books, so you are familiar with characters and the settings, you can read this book without having read those but you will have a hard time. There is a lot of violence

The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat all of that info here. Nicole, Austin, Jacob and the rest of their team are still racing an ancient enemy, Keitus, to stop him from taking over all the world's. He already possesses all of the talismans he needs. Of course there are magical obstacles and beings in their path so their journey will be difficult.

The author does a good job of keeping a steady pace throughout the book to keep this reader interested. It keeps you guessing what twists and turns will be revealed in the pages ahead. I really enjoyed this book, as I have the series, and look forward to reading future books in the Mosaic Chronicles series.

ANOTHER KILLER READ!!!
Talk about never backing down. This is yet another thrilling tale that has us racing forward while danger lurks in the shadows. I was immediately pulled into this page turning bombshell. I couldn't have put it down had I even wanted to. There's enough suspense and danger that keeps you on edge while trying to stay one step ahead of the enemy. Not that easy my friend. Andrea writes with such passion you can feel it flowing throughout the entire series. You feel everything the characters feel. Their pain, sorrow, thoughts of failure when it's not even an option. You keep pushing forward. The characters and their personalities are so realistic while following the purpose they were made for. Each one standing strong with the role that has them playing off one another balancing each other perfectly. They stand together, fight against their foes and remain a strong unit. Throw in all the twists, turns and a few unexpected surprises and you have another awesome adventure. Andrea did a remarkable job bringing this read to life flawlessly. Fantastic job Andrea, thanks for sharing this awesome read with us.

I love that this author starts her books already in the midst of action.
If you haven’t read the previous book Enshroud (or the rest of the series), you really should do that prior to actually reading this one. This story pulls together events from the previous books in this series, as well as events from the Kilenya Series. (You can manage without having read the Kilenya books, but having read those books will add even more depth to this story. ~smile~)

Nicole has changed so much since the series started, and she is really put through the wringer on this one. She and the rest of her friends have been chasing one particular bad guy (who originates in the Kilenya series, but again – you don’t have to read that other series in order to understand that he is a big baddie ~lol~). No spoilers, but I have to say that I really enjoyed the ending to this one. Except – it’s not really the ending since there is an Epilogue, which sets us up for a new series in which Lizzie is the main character. I can’t wait!

I have always liked / loved Andrea's writing and this one is no exception.

In this book, everything that you had hoped for Nicole, her powers, her loves, her enlarging group of family/friends all comes to fruition. This book, more than any of the others, is truly about Nicole and how she handles those things that she needs to do to keep her friends, family, her world .. all worlds and dimensions safe from the evils that have been released by Keitus and his never ending quest for ultimate power.

She, Nicole, proves that you can do more, accomplish more than anyone thought you could and still be true to yourself and your true feelings. You just have to trust in yourself and know that you can.

I will admit I am a little sorry to see the Mosaic Series come to an end but look forward to really getting into the upcoming Lizzie series. I'm betting there will be many twists and turns in that one too.

Withhold is the ninth book in the Mosaic Chronicles series and the fourth in the arc that includes the world and characters from the Kilenya series. This one is packed with non-stop action. While I was reading it, I kept thinking the author isn’t very nice to her characters with the situations she puts them in (but at the same time I sure am glad she does since the book is so good!). This looks like the final end for Jacob and the other Kilenya characters so I’m a bit sad because I liked them so much and will miss them. The end of the book is a lovely wrap-up while opening it up for another storyline for the Mosaic Chronicles characters. There are very few editing errors (I could probably count them on one hand). I very highly recommend reading Withhold. Just make sure you read the rest of the series first (and maybe the Kilenya series, too) or you will be completely lost.

OMG, OMG, OMG. Talk about a rock and a hard place. How would you like it faced with the volatile and dangerous Helen (who will likely kill you even if she helps you) being the only option available to defeat the evil of Keitus and his plans to enslave countless other planets? What an incredible ending for this story arc as Nicole and gang race towards their final face off with Keitus. Once again a superbly written plot full of thrills and adventure, twists and turns, and wonderfully crafted well-rounded characters (as much Austin and Jacob, et al, as Nicole). This story arc has been a total thrill ride and, even though there is room for another storyline for the Mosaic Chronicles characters, I'm going to miss it as much as welcome how well it was done. Very highly recommended.

Talk about starting off a book with a bang !! Andrea Pearson doesn't let the fact that Keitus " beat" Nicole and her gang to the artifacts or that he's closer than he's ever been to enslaving the world, stop her from writing a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat, up all night to finish and still can't believe that they were bold enough to approach the "Old Ones" for assistance !! All i can say is grab the book, set aside several hours, lots of snacks and read WITHHOLD !! 5⭐'s !!! I received a gifted copy of the book and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review. ( and i rearely if ever give 5 ⭐'s !!).

I wish to be a guardian of this library

You will have unanswered questions when you finish reading this book. Why? Because you so enjoyed the story you now feel like you are part of it.. I still have questions about , the great ones.. But my most important question is, when can I visit the library in this story!!! Now I could tell you about the story, but that is not important. What is important is i am telling you I felt like I was in the story. When I closed the book and was done reading it, the was this sadness inside me.. I want to go back and be inside that library again. Anyone know a magic spell to get me there??

Outstanding book! Nicole and her friends are trying to get ahead of Kietus, before it's too late. You meet many of the previous characters, both good and bad. No one really knows how to beat this monster, and some are weakened and can't. Will Nicole save the day? Will she be strong enough to be useful? Will her and Austin ever get their happily ever after? Read on to find out and enjoy the adventure.

This series is excellent. Meant for young adult, people of all ages will love this series. If you love magic, light romance, adventure, and action, you need to check it out. This book finishes Nicole and Austin's story. The HEA is wonderful. The story is one thing after another until the good guys win. Our Heroine is stronger than ever in all ways. There is no swearing. PDAs are a little hand holding and kissing. I am just sad that this series has ended. What an ending!

This has been such a great series I have so much enjoyed reading!!! I'm sad that it is over but there is more to come with a different main character from this series. Andrea Pearson does such a great job of pulling one into the story and writing some nail biting action sequences! Her books are clean which I appreciate but so full of action, adventure, humor, romance and magic!!! Love it!!!

Oh my gosh! I have never read a book in one day! As Nichole, Austin, Lizzie, Jacob and friends overcome seemingly impossible obstacles in this race against Keitus, you really hold your breath. Keitus now has the amulet and wants to rule all worlds in all their dimensions. Hold on tight for the ride of your life! *I received a free eBook copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was an exciting ending to this portion of the Mosaic Chronicles. Nicole must really push herself and set aside her feelings for everyone she cares about to save the world. She must travel to several different worlds and finally seek the help of the Great Ones who threatened her after her first interaction. Can she make it in time to save the world from Keitus?

A great ending to the series. Lots of action and it keeps moving. Pick up the rest of the series first as this starts right where it left off with no preamble. It was a bit abrupt, but I caught on when I remembered what was happening. It was a nice wrap up.

You definitely do not want to miss this!

Each book in the series has it's oddness, sometimes clunky, but in this book it all makes perfect sense together. The writing is more fluid and the cast is familiar. The plot and execution are great. Seriously, even if you read o e or two books..... Let me reassure you, you want to see the "Big" picture!

A satisfying read

As the last book in this set, it does a nice job of wrapping everything up and tying up loose ends. Hard to put down once you start reading. Also leaves you wanting more by setting up the next series.
