This is a wonderful story that is a must read for anyone who loves animals. Once you read the book, you will want to visit the farm right away. The beautiful photos depict what you will see, but when you step foot on the grounds of Leilani Farm Sanctuary, your other senses will take over; giving you an overwhelming sense of peace and love for mother nature and all her creatures. I have had the privilege of visiting the farm several times and always take my friends and family when they visit Maui. If you are looking for a non-profit to support this holiday season, please consider Leilani Farm Sanctuary. I guarantee you will feel that you are part of a wonderful cause!

Laurelee goes on to develop strength as a Shotokan karate black belt. After exploring a career as a radiology technician, Laurelee decides to become a commercial real estate broker. She achieves huge success and life is easy. Find out what happens to bring about the sanctuary for farm animals on Maui! It is a beautiful story. You get to learn about several individual animals.
This book is not a hard read. The chapters are only a page or two, so you can easily read a little and put it down for later. I found it very enjoyable to read. I hope to some day visit this sanctuary.
