I received a free copy of Prairie Heat by Tessa Layne in Kiss Me Cowboy box set and this review was given freely.
Family honor, secrets, a second chance at love romance and, a soft hearted but cocky cowboy make this a must read. Conflict, intrigue and some steamy love scenes kept my interest until the end. Of course, I loved the happy ending and the hook which draws you into book two of the series.

Forever a Soldier by Genevieve Turner treats the series topic of anxiety in a caring and compassionate way. I loved the plot, the renewed relationship between Hank and his sister, the inclusion of Gus's personality, the Sprinkling of Turkish culture, and of course Hank and Lale's romance. However I found the progression slow with too much in-depth historical data for my taste.

Return to Love by Christine Kingsley is a second chance heart warming romance which seamlessly incorporates romance, frustration for various reasons, family intrigue, adoption, and elder care. At one point, I found myself laughing out loud. Overall, this book is a great introduction to the Willow Valley series.

Accounting for Love by Erin Wright portrays the rocky romance of misunderstood bank accountant Jennifer and large farm owner Stetson Miller. This novel contains lots of conflict: Jennifer and her boss, Stetson and his older brothers, Jennifer and her ex, Stetson and the loss of his father and, initially Jennifer and Stetson. The loving personalities of Jennifer and Carmelita balance the story and the happy ending ties everything together. This is a predominately sweet romance with occasional mild swearing and mildly steamy thoughts. Overall down to earth and an excellent Start to the Miller family saga.

This is the fourth in the series but the first in the Montgomery line. The saga of the Baylors is continued in this smoothly flowing and well written second chance at romance novel. The struggle for self worth, the fear of rejection, a secret baby, interfering family, a loving and supportive small town and a late night crisis for baby Mason provide depth, interest, intrigue and poignancy to the romance of Nate and Layla.

All I can say is Well done ladies. Superb writing from all six of you. Couldn't put it down and it's something I will re-read in the future. Some of you ladies are new to me so I'll be searching out some other works from you all. And the funds raised from this collection goes to a fantastic cause - Horses and Heroes. Brilliant!

Excellent group of authors. I purchased this boxed set immediately when it became available. Not only do I enjoy Tessa Layne's books but this is a worthy cause these gals have chosen to donate to. What more can anyone ask than to get 1500+ pages of great reading and know you have helped a worthy cause while being entertained. Thanks for putting this together.

Great Books, Great Cause
Each story in this was fantastically written. Much heart, soul and love are in these. This set is a win/win for the reader. I loved each story and being I'm on a very tight budget this is a great way to help our veterans.

I read some of these books before but couldn't pass up this box set for such a good price and the proceeds goes to Heros an Horses! !
What a great read and found some new authors to enjoy! ! Such a mix of hot and steamy and sweet clean romances for all readers to enjoy.

Good read
Not all the heroes were what I'd call cowboys, but law enforcement. But they were all good, hunky heroes. The heroines were sassy, funny, and brave. Some hot sex, danger, and laughs. Highly recommend.

I got the book because it came recommended by a friend. I liked the stories but one ended strange like if was stopped because the author didn't know how to finish it.
But other than that 4 stars. So it would've gotten 5 if the story ended different. That's all I can say.

Excellent variety all in the name of Cowboys
I enjoyed most of the stories within the collection. Some were fantastic and some just good, but definitely worth the time and price. Supporting a wonderful cause!
