I'm giving it 5 stars. I have no idea if it really is a "lost book of the bible" as they say because it had some inconsistencies with my bible which is a KJV. That's not saying it's wrong or anything I'm just saying there are things that don't line up in my opinion. But I did like the stories. The way heaven is described by Enoch in this book is breathtaking and definitely made me excited to go one day.

The Great Grandfather of Noah, Enoch, was told by angels how God would destroy humanity. He was told by angels to write down the information and give it to his family. Noah had to have saved Enoch's scriptures or they wouldn't exist today. Verified by the Qumran Cave scrolls, the history of early Earth and the people upon it within the Books of Enoch are fascinating. Enoch had many scribes who participated in the writing of his scriptures. These three books are combined into one by Paul Schnieders. There is some repetition within the three. Enoch is mentioned in the Old Testament but his scriptures were not included. Scholars report his scriptures were not used in the Old Testament as they were primarily prophecies of "The Elect One" who would come to Earth as the Son of God. Anyone who is Christian should read these books to understand the background of Noah who was the first white man to be born on Earth. Angels are explained and discussed along with the different levels of heaven. Enoch explained his first ascent into heaven and his return to warn of the future of mankind. There is so much written in the volume, my book is filled with underlined and highlighted passages. I highly recommend this book to those who want to understand more about all that transpired on Earth before the deluge. I read it often and am never finished. Like my Bibles, it remains well used.

Difficult to understand at times but also could be illuminating. A good look at what was out there aside from the Gospels themselves. Mentions many things that are not covered completely in the Scripture.

Interesting collection of suppressed non-canon Biblical works. Enoch was said to have been the only man to enter Heaven without having to endure death.

This book was breathtaking for me. The tone of the book is similar to the book of revelations. Enoch reveals mysteries of the creation, the different hierarchies of heavenly and satanic angels, and their dealings with humanity. He described Heaven in all of its splendor, and duties of specific angels. This book helped me connect missing links to my understanding of how the spirit world is connected to the visible realm that we currently live in. I believe that this book could have easily been one of the books of the original canonized books of the Bible!!!

Awesome

This book helps you to understand who Enoch really is and how so much God the father feels about being obedience and living a life that he wants for you.. This book also allows you to see the secrets between Enoch and God. If I could I would gift the hold world the book. Please get it and read it. May God bless you

Did not finish. Insufferable old testament moralizing mixed with poor exposition and minutiae. I was willing to overlook a lot but the historical interest does not make this worth reading in its entirety. I'm going to read the Book of Job as a palate cleanse.

I enjoyed reading this book. It was very informative and I learn a lot more about the biblical scriptures . It was things in this book that blew my mind, as well as learning about Angels, Nephilim, and God's structure in heaven.

It’s the book of Enoch. There are free editions available anywhere online. However, this edition has been edited well and is full of all the pertinent information.

"Stuff they don't want you to know."

"Like letters directly from The Lord."

Threatens the worldview of mainstream Christians, hence is called "apocryphal".
