Navy SEAL Wyatt Chandler loves the pulse-pounding, adrenaline-spiking tempo of Special Ops. But when a teammate dies in his arms during a mission gone wrong, he decides it’s time to hang up his combat boots before he becomes the next casualty. He can’t let his grandmother—the woman who raised him after his parents died—go through that kind of pain ever again.

But going home isn’t as easy as it sounds, and he has no idea what to do now that he’s no longer HALO-jumping into enemy territory. When he gets a chance to use his skills and play bodyguard to an heiress, he takes the assignment. How hard can it be to babysit one spoiled blonde?

Reality TV star Paige Spencer never expected to find herself bundled off to her dad’s fishing retreat in Nowheresville, USA, and put into the care of a hot bodyguard with a chip on his shoulder. But someone is threatening her life—and the threats are escalating. Getting away from Seattle until the police catch her stalker is the only sensible option.

Paige hates all things small-town and charming, but Eagle’s Ridge has a way of growing on a person. And then there’s Wyatt, the sexy, growly, utterly delicious protector who makes her heart pound and her pulse skip with every hard-eyed look. And when he finally lets down his guard and kisses her? Mercy.

Still, the road to true love has never been easy—especially when a crazed fan has plans of his own.

Wyatt by Lynn Raye Harris is such a good read.
The storyline is entertaining, well written and my interest was held all throughout the book. Once I started reading I couldn't put it down :)

I loved Wyatt and Paige, they were funny, stubborn, passionate characters that made me laugh with their banter and touch my heart with their story. These two truly belonged together and I was thrilled they were able to get their two different worlds work so they can be together.
Did I mention how hot these two are? Seriously the chemistry between them was smoking!

Sparks fly from the moment they met, and only grow until they go boom! Lots of drama and a crazy stalker. Gran/MaryBeth is amazing. Loved the nosy, gossipy townspeople. Great group of guys in this series I look forward to reading all their HEAs.

THIS is what I was hoping for when I started reading this story. It is, by far, my favorite book in the 7 Brides for 7 Soldiers series thus far. Wyatt was exactly the kind of military veteran I love. Lynn Raye Harris is a new to me author, but after reading this book – which included a tie-in to one of her series – I’ll be checking her other books out.

For this entire series, I’ve been CRAVING some fallout from the boys’ military careers. I needed for these boys to address the things that happened to them in a real way; not just a briefly discussed explanation for leaving their respective branches of the military. I was also holding out for one of the boys to rely on the skills they gleaned from their time in the service in a readily demonstrable fashion. Wyatt delivered on all of those fronts in a more satisfying way than his predecessors.

Paige surprised me, greatly. When she first appeared on page, I was sure she was going to be grating, and Wyatt was going to care for her in spite of her shortcomings. However, I was gleefully mistaken. Paige was more than expected and I think she surprised herself with just how different she could be when she was away from the trappings of her day to day life. I adored watching her become more comfortable in her skin, in a place far removed from the glamour she was used to experiencing.

Wyatt held the kind of underlying tension and suspense I love in a novel. Even as the characters were attempting to carry on with their everyday lives, there was always a thread of the unknown adding tension to each moment. I appreciated how Ms. Harris led to the climax of this book; I was a little taken aback by how everything played out which was refreshing.

My only wish for this book is that the ending would not have been so rushed. All of the books in this series are relatively short, so I’m sure it was a product of staying within those parameters, I just would have liked a little more fleshing out of the final scenes. I don’t think the book is lacking in closure; it would have been more satisfying if it had more meat at the end of the book.

As I’ve mentioned, Lynn Raye Harris is a new to me author. I was impressed with her writing in Wyatt, it drew me in from the first page and left me wanting more when I was finished. She did a fantastic job of moving her characters forward in their growth arcs without ever letting me forget that there was something sinister going on just below the surface. Ms. Harris writes a good suspense novel, and I hope to have the chance to check out her backlist sometime soon.

Okay, seriously . . . these 7 Brides for 7 Soldiers just keep getting better and better--and they were already amazing!

In Wyatt, we finally learn what brought him back to Eagles Ridge. Wyatt's a former SEAL and used to the crazy busy schedule he kept during his years in the Navy. Settling back into Eagles Ridge to take care of his grandmother--a woman who's adamant about not needing him to take care of her--has left Wyatt wondering just what he's going to do with himself for the long term, what he's going to be besides a SEAL. Well, for a few days, he's going to act as a bodyguard. That will keep him busy and out of trouble, right?

Enter Paige Spencer. Reality star, royal bitch, and total pampered princess. Well, that's what's portrayed on television anyway. With a stalker escalating his threats, Paige is sent to Eagles Ridge to hide out until he's caught. But soon Paige is caught up in her feelings--feelings for Wyatt, not the feelings of being stuck in the middle of nowhere.

But with the stalker still out to get her, will Wyatt drop some of his guard and make his move or are these two destined to be two lovers caught up in the adrenaline and excitement of staying alive?

I loved the relationship between Wyatt and Paige. They were fun, sexy, snarky and a pleasure to read. I loved how Paige brought out the true man, and romantic, in Wyatt. And I loved how Wyatt helped Paige grow up a bit and become more of a well rounded human being.

I devoured Wyatt in one sitting and can't wait for Jack to release! ~ Missy, 5 stars

"Do you think you might kiss me again? Just to celebrate, of course"
"I think I shouldn't.....but I think I'm gonna do it anyway."

This is such a great series, and this contribution by Lynn Raye Harris is a wonderful addition! Wyatt is ....well, delicious. And protective. And self-tortured over something he could never have changed. My favorite type of hero. Paige, is a self-centered, abrasive, entitled princess, but only on the outside. Inside she has dreams of her own. The friction between them could start a fire!

Wyatt has returned home after leaving the SEALs. Carrying a guilt over the loss of a teammate, he's come back to Eagle's Ridge to lick his wounds and look after his grandmother. Trying to find his new path, he's been given a job opportunity to be the bodyguard for a reality TV star, Paige Spencer who's been getting threatening mail. Finding her a spoiled princess, he makes it a point to put her in her place, over and over. But can he keep her at arms length when he can't stop wanting her despite their differences?

Paige Spencer has it all. She's set to inherit her father's empire. She's a famous reality TV star, who's fans love her for her cattiness. But that persona is not who she really is. She's got dreams that she wants to make happen on her own. A crazed stalker is now threatening her and she's stuck in Eagle's Ridge until they can find him, and with a bodyguard no less. He's egotistical, obnoxious, and....hot. She wants him, but he's made it clear that she is just the job. Can she convince him to take a chance, or should she just ignore her feelings, knowing she'll be leaving soon?

I really enjoyed this story! Lynn is an amazing author and I've read everything she's written. I am so glad that she has a book in this amazing series!! Oh, and you're going to love Mr. Fluffypants aka Spike. He certainly stole some scenes!!

It’s a special treat to get to an ARC of a Lynn Raye Harris book, so I was excited to get an invitation to read “Wyatt.” I love the “Hostile Operations Team (HOT)” team books, so it was a lot of fun to see a connection to “HOT” in a new series. Having Hawk reach out to the main character, Wyatt, and hire him as a body guard for our heroine, Paige, was a perfectly natural basis for the story. With Hawk’s wife being a celebrity, it makes perfect sense, since Paige is a reality TV star.

I loved this story, because Wyatt and Paige both start out making assumptions about each other – Wyatt even buys into stereotypes about spoiled rich girls – but over time, they come to realize that there’s more going on under the surface than they thought. Pretty little rich girls aren’t always the spoiled Daddy’s Girls they seem to be, and not everyone has to be paid to do things for you. The main plot may appear to be about catching Paige’s stalker, but in reality, it’s the story of two incredibly strong, independent people who struggle with issues they can’t quite handle alone.

Wyatt has left the SEAL Teams to spare his grandmother the pain of burying him should he die in the line of duty, like his friend. He came home to take care of her, but she’s made it clear she doesn’t need a caretaker, and now Wyatt’s life is adrift. For Paige, she’s been virtually alone all her life, surrounded by wealth, with no real loving attachments. She wants to make her own way in the world, but no one believes that she can, believing instead that she already has everything she could ever want.

These are deep, interesting characters – a hallmark of Lynn Raye Harris’ books. The suspense is gripping as always, and I was genuinely surprised to find out who the stalker was at the end. Eagle’s Ridge is an interesting little town, too, with characters and places I’d like to know better, so it’s a good thing there are more books in the series!

Immovable object meet bulldozer. From the moment they meet Wyatt and Paige set off sparks. Strong personalities have a way of making their presence known. Sound familiar. Like author, like characters. Ms. Harris grabs hold of the imagination and works her way into emotions little by little. There's a seduction going on. The bigger the theatrics, the bolder the characters and the more thrilling the ride. Living on the edge is a dangerously heady experience.

I voluntarily received an ARC in exchange for an honest review of this book.

Wyatt and Paige were an entertaining couple to read about in this book series. He is a Navy SEAL through and through, despite the fact that he made the decision to leave the military, while she is Ms. Hollywood all day every day. Agreeing to take on the job as protector until her stalker is caught, Wyatt soon discovers that there's more to Paige that meets the eye.

As they get to know each other in close quarters, their attraction for one another grows even though Wyatt tries to fight it at first. This couple's story is filled with lots of action, comic relief, suspense, and sexiness. When the climatic end hits, Wyatt and Paige realize that they belong together. Thus another handsome soldier's heart is wrapped up and taken unexpectedly. Great story!

Finally, let me say that you can never go wrong with reading a military romance book by author Lynn Raye Harris. Happy Reading!

After leaving the military Wyatt can't seem to figure out what comes next. When a friend asks him to be the bodyguard for a reality TV star, it seems like it will be an easy job. But Paige is not just all about the fame and sparks instantly fly. When her stalker gets too close will Wyatt not only save her but also find his future? With heart stopping action and heart warming connection this is a great book in the series.

So far I’ve managed to keep up with the releases in the 7 Brides for 7 Soldiers series. Sometimes it’s been a struggle to get through the stories, but thankfully Wyatt, by Lynn Raye Harris was a decent read. I’ve read Lynn Raye Harris before, but she’s been hit-or-miss with me, so I wasn’t sure which way this one would go!

This series is about seven friends from a small town called Eagle’s Ridge in Washington. They forged a bond while serving detention during their senior year of high school. Now, about 12 years later, they’re all returning back home after serving in different branches of the military. As with most people who have seen active combat, they all also have some issues they are dealing with. Which, of course, the women they meet help them overcome.

One of my frustrations with the previous books is that there was a lot of retelling about the town’s history and a quick backstory of who each of the seven soldiers are. It’s necessary to do, because even though you don’t need to read them all - or in order - to understand what’s going on, they are sort of interrelated. Thankfully, this book had the least amount of repetitive retelling. It still did a good job of quickly giving people the background they need, though.

This book, otherwise, is a pretty typical bodyguard plotline: bodyguard thinks his client is self centered, stuck up and shallow, but then realizes she isn’t. Bodyguard says they can’t be together because it will compromise his ability to do his job protecting her, but then goes ahead and sleeps with her anyway. Then the bad guy finds her and she’s in great peril, from which the bodyguard ultimately rescues her.

The author does a good job with character development, but falls short in relationship development. All the stories in this series have an insta-love like relationship, with the story covering a time span of just a couple weeks. It makes for decent stories, but nothing great. I’m left wondering if this whole “different authors writing interrelated stories” can ever really work that well. While the writing may technically be good, these stories often seem contrived and cliched.

The next book is written by an author I haven’t read before, and while I was previously thinking this would be a good opportunity for me to get introduced to some new authors, now I’m wondering if this type of project puts the writers “in a box” and isn’t really conducive to them producing a book of the caliber they are capable of writing. We shall see…

PS For the love of happily ever after, will someone PLEASE write a story Miss Woods? Good grief, if anyone in the town of Eagle’s Ridge needs an HEA, it’s her!

WYATT
(7 Brides for 7 Soldiers)
“He strode down the aisle toward the flag-draped casket. He was here to pay his respects. One last time.”

After the success of the 7 Brides for 7 Brothers multi-author series, I was not in the least surprised when I loved the first in this new collaborative offering and I have loved them all so far go different reasons. But, Wyatt? He’s my favorite so far!!!

Book 4 focuses on handsome and ruggedly quiet Wyatt Chandler, who has returned home to Eagles Ridge after the loss of a SEAL teammate. He knows that while his Gran humors him, and while he claims she needs him she really doesn’t NEED him the way he needs to be needed. (Yes, I know that’s a lot of need, but really ... when it boils down to it ... isn’t that what we ALL want in this life?! Well, it is and it’s probably that feeling that makes this book and this series so relatable and loveably addicting!)

Wyatt knows he’s really home for his own reasons ... the first being misplaced guilt for not being able to save his friend.

But he’s growing bored, and helping Gran scrapbook old photos and doing odd jobs around town for his buddies is not going to keep this special operator busy or his thought occupied from the past creeping back in.

So when HOTtie Hawk calls Wyatt to take on a personal security job right in his own backyard protecting a Reality TV “Princess” from an obsessed fan sounds like the perfect distraction for this hard-bodied hunk.

Paige Spencer may come from money, but she’s determined to make her own way in the world, even if she has to play up being a brat for reality TV. She immediately knows she’s met her match in Wyatt, who from the start will not be treated like hired help for her to boss around.

Never have I laughed so hard as when this novel was stolen by none-other-than-a-cat named Mr. Fluffypants. The hilarity of this damn cat made this already fantastic book epic.

Hurt became hope and hope became happiness as Wyatt and Paige learn to trust, try to heal and dare to connect. Not to mention they seriously steam up the pages of this MUST READ offering in this new series.

Loved it! Wyatt is a former Seal that has left the service for two reasons. The first is to protect & care for his grandmother who has just been diagnosed with diabetes. The second is because he's having trouble living with the guilt over his training partner's death. He's searching for what he's going to do for a living when an old military buddy asked him to step in as a bodyguard to help him out. Wyatt agrees & finds himself watching out for a person he thinks is a spoiled, rich, entitled snob. So why is he so attracted to her?

Paige is a rich, reality show star that is being stalked. She thought it was all a joke until the stalker threatened to harm her cat. Now, her show is on hiatus & she's on her way to some small town to her father's hunting lodge to hide. No one can figure out who the stalker is. Her father hires a "true" bodyguard to watch over her. Paige thinks Wyatt is looking down on her just like the other bodyguards. So why does she think he's so hot?

I really enjoyed this book. The author took care to illustrate with her descriptive prose Wyatt's guilt, horror & remorse over an event that wasn't his doing. The sarcastic interactions between Wyatt & Paige at the beginning drew a perfect picture of them both fighting the chemistry drawing them together. Wyatt's concern for his grandmother showed his tender side & love for her. However, I will say that as a diabetic, the author had his grandmother being more patient with his food policing (You can't eat that. You're diabetic or it has sugar, etc!) than I've been with my friends & family. Overall, Wyatt is an excellent book & a great addition to the series. I can't wait for the next book!

Lynn Rae Harris was a great choice to write this SEAL hero romance for this new series. She brilliantly writes Wyatt Chandler as the gorgeous, serious, recovering ex SEAL that he is. Of course no SEAL is really ex, and Wyatt has regrets at leaving the teams. But he's back in Eagle Ridge to "help" his grandmother and he's trying to find a new focus for his life after leaving the Navy. Blending her HOT SEALS world with Eagle's Ridge, Ms. Harris sets the perfect stage for Wyatt to meet the pampered, spoiled & rich reality star Paige Spencer. Wyatt agrees to work for the famous Hostile Operations Team as a bodyguard for Paige and her snotty cat Mr. Fluffypants. In his first assignment as her body guard, Wyatt does not follow the typical model for his position. His unwillingness to kowtow to Paige with her demands and expectations makes for a very entertaining story. The mystery of who is stalking and threatening Paige; and, the determination of Wyatt to uncover their identity are captivating. The transformation and realization of what's important that occurs by and between Wyatt and Paige is fascinating. The feelings, emotions and love that evolves between our protagonists is gratifying. All in all, a wonderful, sexy, HOT story of two people searching, and finding, their futures is rewarding all around.

Wyatt by Lynn Raye Harris
4.5 Stars

City girl meet country boy and love knows no differences.

I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. 4.5 Stars

Another winner by LRH. Wyatt’s guilt is eating him up along with his reason to come home but that reason doesn’t seem to need him at all. Wyatt is lost on what to do with his life. Doing odd jobs here and there isn’t helping him find the purpose he had being a SEAL.
Paige is a rich, snobby actress who has ambition to make it on her own with her fashion line without the help of her rich father. Unfortunately, she’s being stalked by a craze fan and has been taken away from the city to hide in a small town. Wyatt is helping out Hunter Security to watch the beautiful blonde hoity-toity Paige. Paige knows that everyone has a price to do her bidding but what she didn’t expect was Wyatt, her new bodyguard in the small town who can’t be bought.
Wyatt’s dormant desires woke up when Paige walked into his life. Wyatt didn’t know what hit him but he knows this is a job and nothing more. Paige hasn’t been with anyone in a while but she couldn’t help the attraction of the tall, board and smoking hot bodyguard. They’ll have to maneuver through their desires and reactions to each other’s presence in check while trying to keep a craze stalker from reaching his goal.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has love, laughs, and heartbreak.

Before reading this story please read the below books first
Ryder (7 Brides for 7 Soldiers #1) by Barbara Freethy
Adam (7 Brides for 7 Soldiers #2) by Roxanne St. Claire
Zane (7 Brides for 7 Soldiers #3) by Christie Ridgway

This is Paige and Wyatt’s story. Wyatt loved being in Special Ops that is until he loses a teammate and they die in his arms. He knows he needs to get out. He needs to go home to the people that love him and not be stuck in a war zone where he could lose his life. When he gets home he is lost. So used to the job he was doing he has a hard time fitting in. When a chance to prove himself be still stay away from the war comes up he jumps at the chance. Paige has been sent away after the treats she was getting start escalating. Now she has a surly bodyguard. They need he tucked away while they catch the stalker she has. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. But he has a job to do. What happens when the danger comes to them. Will Wyatt be able to keep Paige safe from harm or will he lose her to a crazed fan?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I recommend this book.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I really enjoyed this book. I loved the story of Wyatt and Paige. Wyatt is a former Navy SEAL who has decided it is time to leave and return home to help his grandmother out who has recently hand some medical issues arise. Paige is a reality star who has been having someone stalk and threaten her and has come to Eagle's Ridge to hide out while the man threatening her is found. Wyatt is asked to protect her via a former HOT operative, Hawk who now runs his own security company who deal with high profile clients. I love the fact that there is a cameo from Jack Hunter of the HOT series. At the beginning Paige and Wyatt do not see eye to eye. He thinks she is a spoiled rich girl and she thinks he is there to work and do as she asks. This was such a great read full of wonderfully written characters and and a great suspense as to who is after Paige and how he is determined to find her and make her his. The chemistry between them is hot and I also enjoyed the secondary characters of the story. Especially Wyatt's grandma Mary Beth. This is a definitely a must read for fans of Ms Harris.

I love reading and especially love reading books written by a few authors of which Lynn Raye Harris is in the top 5. She did not fail to capture my attention with this one, I love this series and each story she brings to it.

This book was intriguing and kept me turning pages to find out who the threat was to Paige and holding my breath at the sweetness of her and Wyatt falling in love. Danger and mystery surround this story.

I loved the small town setting and that it brought reality to the story, where everyone knows what everyone else is doing and who they are doing it with, can't keep secrets because eventually someone is going to say the wrong thing to the wrong people at the wrong time. In this case it brought danger with it but also opened Wyatt's eyes to his love for Paige as well as the fact that some things he simply could not be prepared. Life happens and is not always at a convenient time which leaves the door open for things to go wrong.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary ARC of this book and highly recommend it. I gave it a five star rating because it was well written and entertaining.

Recently retired from the Navy SEALs Wyatt hops from job to job just to stay near his ill grandmother. He's got his old friends from high school, also former military, but he needs something else. A call from Jack Hunter, former HOT team member, has him protecting Paige. She has a stalker, probably a result from her reality TV series, and needs a safe place to land for a bit. Initially, she makes a poor impression as a stuck up spoiled rich woman and Wyatt easily puts her in her place. There will be no spoiling, no bossiness and no snapping fingers. Wyatt is among seven soldiers from Eagle's Ridge making their way through life after the military. Harris wove her story with the HOT series by connecting Wyatt to Jack Hunter, owner of his own security agency and former HOT team member. Each story can be read without the others, but if you read them I suggest in order because who gets paired with who may not be a surprise otherwise. I received an early copy of Wyatt and have voluntarily written my unbiased review.

I was provided with an ARC of Wyatt.

Wyatt is book #4 in the 7 Brides for 7 Soldiers series, which is written by 7 different authors. This novel can be read as standalone, but I'm sure you'd enjoy to read the whole series in reading order!

Wyatt, a retired Navy Seal, takes a job from Hawk's (former HOT) security firm. His mission is to protect reality TV star Paige (and her cat) from her stalker. In a little town like Eagles Ridge it's difficult to keep that a secret, so they have to find a cover story. Paige has to stay put until her stalker is caught. A lot of time to explore the attraction between Wyatt and Paige...

On the one hand Wyatt is a funny and light book with great characters (especially Wyatt's Grandma!) and on the other hand there's a lot of suspense and action. On top, there's always a great love story!
I only wished there was more interaction with the rest of the gang (altough I understand, that's difficult when you have to keep Paige safe and her cover intact).

Wyatt is the 4th book in the multi-author series 7 Brides for 7 Soldiers. Each of the 7 friends is in a branch of the military, and Wyatt is a Navy SEAL who has come home to help take care of his grandmother. Wyatt was another wonderful addition to the multi-author series.

I loved Wyatt immediately and the more time he spent with Paige, the more I liked her character. I really felt like she had gotten a bad rap for being on a reality TV show, and she pretty much hid behind her TV persona too often. I loved the more time she was around Wyatt, the more the real Paige came out. I loved the attraction between Wyatt and Paige and had to laugh at him trying to fight said attraction. They had such smoking hot chemistry, I knew they wouldn't last long before they made love. I seriously ended up loving them as a couple.

The stalker angle was extremely well done. Even once they discovered the identity of the stalker, I knew Wyatt and Paige belonged together. I loved how protective Wyatt was of everyone he loved from his grandmother to his friends to Paige.

Ms. Harris once again gives her readers another fabulous romantic suspense with the perfect balance between romance and suspense with Wyatt.

I’ve not read anything from Lynn Raye Harris before, and I found myself quite enjoying this story. In fact, I’ve liked all the books I’ve read in the 7 Brides for 7 Soldiers series.

They’ve been sweet and sexy and funny and emotional, heartfelt stories. Wyatt is no exception.

After discharging from the military, Wyatt returns home and doesn’t know what to do with himself. He finds himself as a bodyguard to one Hollywood reality star. Paige is not pleased to be forced into small town living, but her life is being threatened.

The chemistry between them is pretty explosive right from the beginning, even though they don’t particularly care for each other. This story is full of suspense and intrigue and sweetness and sexiness. I really enjoyed watching this couple fall in love.

I’ve also come to adore Eagle’s Ridge and all it’s inhabitants! It’s seems like a typical small town, with all the gossip and with everyone all up in your business. I love it. LOL!!! Another great read in this series.

WOW Lynn Raye Harris did it again, creating another captivating story with Wyatt! Wyatt is book #4 in the 7 Brides for 7 Soldiers series written by 7 different authors. In this book our heroine is Paige Spencer who is a heiress that stars in a TV Reality Show. When her life is threatened by a stalker her dad sends her out of Seattle to his fishing retreat in Eagle's Ridge. The bodyguard hired to protect her is Wyatt Chandler. Wyatt is a former Special Ops soldier who quit the ops when a teammate dies in his arms. He realizes he doesn't want his grandmother to lose him like that, so he quits and comes home.
Talk about how opposites attract, well that was Paige and Wyatt from the start. Sparkes fly but they could not been more different which only adds to the story. I encourage you to read the story to find how Paige and Wyatt reach their HEA, I wasn't disappointed and sure am sure you will not be! I love that there was a tie-in to Lynn Raye Harris' HOT series!
I recieved an ARC in exchange for a honest review.

I enjoy reading series like these, you get to know everyone, not just your main characters. I feeling like I'm visiting with an old friend.

Wyatt is a retired SEAL and Paige is the star of her own reality show. Returning to his home town, Wyatt takes on the job of protecting Paige from a stalker.

I feel like the suspense and full on action takes a back seat, there is of course still the threat of Paige's stalker. But instead we get more of Wyatt and Paige getting to know each other. Being thrown together is an intense start to any relationship so I like they have time to get to know one and other.

This is the first I've read in the series and while it didn't take anything away from the book I'm sure it would be a lot more fun to read the series in order. They other thing I loved was the cast of character that live in the town I'm sure Hildie and co will continue to pop in throughout the rest of the series.

This doesn't have the action packed danger that Lynn's HOT series has, but if you enjoy military romance I'd definitely recommend you read Wyatt.

Loved this book! Love everything Lynn Raye Harris writes. This entire series is really great actually. Every book is about a different friend that goes off to the military and eventually finds himself back in their small home town falling in love, with a fight of course.

Wyatt is an ex-Navy SEAL, that faced the hardest of things and got out. He returned home to heal and be alone in his thoughts. Until, he gets the offer to protect a TV star, who is a city girl to the bone!!!

Paige is the reality TV star that doesn't do well out of her element and her element is in the city. She has never had to fend for herself, with a rich daddy and all of the services she could think of, not having a person to do everything for her is just 'hard'. Once she gets to know what living in a small town is really about, she starts warming up to the idea and actually likes it, or is it Wyatt that she likes.

This series is absolutely wonderful. Each author and book is perfect in its own right. Highly recommend them all.

I was giving this book as an arc for a honest review. Let me start off by saying what a awesome read. Lynn Raye Harris has a way of writing that brings out all the emotions in me. I laughed, I smiled, I wanted to cry and most of all I felt the love that Wyatt and Paige felt for one another. Wyatt left the Navy Seals after his friend was killed and he knew he didn't want his grandmother to have to go through his death. He takes a job as a bodyguard to protect a reality star Paige Spencer from a stalker. Wyatt vows to protect Paige the way he could not protect his friend. When he meets the rich princess its love at first sight but he would never admit to that. Paige is a strong misunderstood person. She maybe rich but she doesn't want to rely on daddy's money. She wants to make her own way. Watching these two fall in love was beautiful and this book has some really hot sex scenes. This a wonderful addition to new series 7 Brides for 7 Soldiers. Too funny "Mr. Fluffypants"

Former Navy Seal Wyatt Chandler has come home after a mission goes horribly wrong, leading to the death of one of his teammates, determined to not leave his grandmother in the same state that his friend's family is in. Reality TV star Paige Spencer has captured the attention of a fan, and not in a good way. When her life is threatened, her father decides she is safer in Eagle's Ridge, only he needs someone who knows what they are doing to keep her safe. A little bored and a little intrigued despite himself, Wyatt throws himself into the job, never intending for it to lead to anything other than just a job. But the best laid plans often go awry and sometimes love finds you when you least expect it.

The 7 Brides for 7 Soldiers series is quickly becoming my favorite series, with each book better than the previous. Full of twists and turns, a little intrigue, plenty of steam and enough laughs to make your sides sore, Wyatt's story is my favorite so far!

My Rating: 4 1/2 Stars

Another great addition to the Seven Brides for Seven Soldiers series. Lynne Raye Harris does a great job of keeping the feeling of the town going and adding to it with another military man who has come home for good. What can be sweeter than a man who comes home to care for his grandmother - whether she really needs it or not.
While Wyatt is home he doesn't really have anything to do yet - until a friend calls to ask if he'd like a gig as a bodyguard for a TV Reality star who will be hiding out from a stalker. Paige is everything you think a spoiled reality star would be - except underneath she's a lonely girl looking for love.
The hard Wyatt and soft Paige don't seem like a perfect match but once they are living away from everything they begin to share things they've never told anyone.
The tension is palpable and the conversation witty and entertaining. While this is the first book I have read by Lynn Raye Harris it won't be my last.
