Writing is acceptable. Characters felt a little two-dimensional. However, I'm always a sucker for romances based off of fairy tales and other literary genres, so it was an escape for a few hours. I would read the next one because of that.
The story was not clean. Had enough cuss words. I was lost many times in this story and have no idea what was talking about. I feel like I was completely missing a piece of the puzzle. The story ends on a cliffhanger and you have to join some kind of Club 2 finish it. Wasn't a big fan of this one.
A different spin on Romeo and Juliet and I liked it. Both main characters were likeable and had chemistry. A few lines from the original were thrown in and the ending was interesting although abrupt. I felt I needed more, luckily I did get more from the bonus on the authors website.
OMG! This was a great read, the characters the settings for the story ,were amazing. Will have a hard time with Romeo and Juliet, in any form. This will be top thoughts
Thought this might be a bit predictable when I saw the title but very pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed the depiction of the characters and what a twist at the end.
Didn’t really like it... no character building in the story line, for a fictional read it was rather boring... was definitely not left wanting more from this story.
I got this as a free Kindle deal and I really enjoyed it. I love that there were quotes from the play. But it wasn't a scene by scene retelling. It is reimagined.
