Mondays suck, especially when your boss dies before noon. Something killed him, and now it’s going to kill me and my husband. The only way to save us... I have to do what they say. I have to feed it. And I’ve got a sick, sick feeling of what it wants to eat.

◎ Very short story
◎ Freebie with minor editing issues
◎ POVs: Singular, 1st person

Jordan Ivy's been married to her husband for fifteen years. An early morning phone call from his mobile phone arouses her suspicion and she decides to take a peek at his call log.

Thrilling, gory, humorous, and with a fantastic ending! How delightful!

Feed is the third book in the Psycho series by R.C. Patterson.  I have to admit this one was a lot better than the first two.  I only saw one or two errors and the story was well written and kept me intrigued even though I kinda had an inkling about what was happening.

But again, this author or their publisher insists on DRM so that means I have to drop 1 from the score leaving it with a respectable 3/5.

I'm not sure why this has had several bad reviews as I thought it was really good. Very tense. Kept you guessing. Loved the pace of the story. The ending was slightly confusing though but it didn't detract from a great read.

Welp!

Still trying to figure out what the heck I just read! Would have been a bit better with more of a plot.

Whew!!

Hahahaha what a brilliant quick short story! I was so sure the "IT" was real... until the author got me and I realised the wife was on an 'alternate reality' 😅😂

First time reading a book by this author.

It was quite disturbing, but I just couldn't stop reading
