Ok, so this was actually a fairly good book. Everything happened on one evening, as far as the murder mystery was concerned. I found that the murderer was a little obvious, but then again I say that a lot. Though the plot was a little predictable, I still liked the interactions between the character.

I didn't understand the end of the book very much, but that might be a personal opinion. I don't want to say too much about it, but I felt like it came out of nowhere and should have had a bit more of a build up. Even just a paragraph about what happened during the 6 months leap from the end of Halloween till May.

Overall it was a fine book, I'm just not sure how they are going to work on the new character.

Felicity and the Oveton Events are getting things set up for the Youngling Family Reunion. This is a first for them, and everything is going great.Grandma Rose, the monarch of the family has dementia and is very grumpy. She is also very opinionated about things in her family. The family has a "walking table" that has was built by their great-great grandfather. No one knows how it really works, but it is a show stopper, so when Felicity has a money raising event for the hospital, the family agree to bring the table. After all it has a Halloween theme. Everyone is having a wonderful time until Autumn comes and tells Jack she found a dead woman in the haunted house aka morgue. The dead woman is Grandma Rose! As Autumn is doing the autopsy, she is rushed to the hospital and a code Orange is called. Cycinde was found in Grandma Rose and Autumn had inhaled some of it. Who would want to kill Grandma Rose? She already had cancer and dementia. Why kill her when she was already dying? Who had access to cycinde? Find the answers in the book. I received ARC of this book. The review is my own opinion and totally voluntary

MURDER IN THE MORGUE
Susan Harper

Felicity and the Overton Events crew are helping with the fund raising event for the hospital's NICU. All seems to be going well and everyone is having fun when Grandma
Rose, the Monarch of the Youngling family, is found sitting in her wheelchair, very dead.
Autumn is doing the autopsy, when she is overcome by fumes and the fumes are determined to be cyanide. That makes it very clear that Grandma did not die from a heart attack.
This is Felicity and Jefferson's third mystery and it is a good one, just when you think you have everything figured out, you find out how wrong you are. Twists and turns and just fun reading are what makes a cozy so special and this is up there with the best of them!

Felicity and her friends are hard at it again and solving another murder. A Halloween fund raising event turned into a night of mystery as the murder victim lays in the morgue’s haunted house. Although most of the guests at the fund raiser are unaware of the crisis, Felicity and her friends are busy tracking down clues to solve the mystery. This is the second book in this series that I have read, and they just keep getting better. You will really enjoy this fun murder mystery and Felicity and the gang. Highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery.

Event planners extraordinaire, Felicity and Jefferson, are working a Halloween themed fundraiser at the Senoia hospital. Things seem to be going well until the matriarch of a local prominent family is discovered dead in the haunted house located in the hospital morgue, and Felicity must solve the murder on order to protect the event.

This series continues to provide a quick, clean and entertaining read. The characters are likeable, and there are enough twists and turns to keep the reader engaged. If you like cozy mysteries, you'll enjoy this book.

I requested and received an Advance Reader Copy of this book. My review is voluntary and the opinions my own.

As usual I'm not disappointed by Susan's writing skill.
We have Felicity Overton catering both the Youngling's family reunion and the hospital's fundraiser for their NICU. Everybody seems to be enjoying themselves when Grandma Rose Youngling is found dead in the morgue (it's being used as the haunted house).
It looks like a simple heart attack until Autumn is poisoned while performing the autopsy.
Leave it up to Felicity and her ex-boyfriend Tom (the cop)to solve the case

I enjoyed this book, the location of the crime is original, the 'walking' table is a nice side-show, and the murder method was difficult to guess.
The Senoia cozy mystery series is great fun, and the event organising company is an ideal vehicle for cozy mystery solving, but I do find the characters to be a bit one-dimensional.
I also found the sudden appearance of the boyfriend at the end to be rather bizarre.

Susan Harper has penned another great cozy mystery featuring event planner Felicity Overton. With the help of Overton's assistant Jefferson, her friends - Monte, Dawn, Autumn and Veronica, and her former fiancè Detective Jack Hudson Felicity not only throws a great charity event but also solves her third whodunnit in Murder In The Morgue. This series is quickly becoming one of my favorites!

Another good Senoia Cozy mystery....Susan Harper has outdone herself in this book. The setting is absolutely great, and the touch of the super normal adds an interesting touch. Full of twists and turns the book leaves you guessing, and the ending is a complete surprise....A not to be missed fun, interesting read.

I read my first Senoia Cozy Mystery as part of a set from different writers. It was by far the best written of them and I enjoyed it enough to continue the series. Murder in the Morgue primarily takes place over the course of one night and had everything you'd expect from Susan. It was an enjoyable read!

After finishing "A Fatal Fall" (number two in this series), I went directly to this book. Once again, enjoyed the characters, plot and trying to figure out "whodunit". Looking forward to the next book in this series as a new character was introduced at the end of this book. Wondering how it will all work out for Senoia and her friends. . .

Good book.

Good light mystery! A book you can read at doctor appointments while waiting. There is a touch of romance, surprising twists and turns. Of course I will read more of her stories.

Excellent book.

A new client, a table that walks by itself, add Halloween and a murder in the morgue haunted house, and you have a great story

Why do I keep reading these? They were very cheap and it keeps me occupied on the train. These are really terrible. Not the worst cozy mysteries I've read, but the second worst.

Wonderful!

Great characterization, great heroine, tricky plot. What happens with Jefferson? Who's this new guy? And lots more questions to be answered, please. Next book Now.

Puh, this one was bad. More slapstick than anything else and not in a good way. And there is just no depth of the characters.
