Tommy Travers is about to find out what it means to be the Master of Books. Before he leads the Gifted he must be tested. In this third volume of the Master of Books series Tommy is sent on an impossible mission to save a new Script from an impossible world. But who will save him? Before he can be raised Tommy will have to become more than he ever thought he could be and risk losing it all if he fails to pass the Test of the Master.
I didn't really like the book Test of the Master by Robert J. Fluegel. I didn’t like this book because I got really bored at how much description there was. I also didn’t like this book because of the book that Tommy and his friends go into, it was not the right atmosphere for me. I liked Amelia in this book because of the braveness she has, like she always has. I liked in the book when Tommy is thinking, “Is this what I want for my life? I’ve been reading about heroes all my life. It sounds great until people start trying to kill you.” I like this quote because it is a good question to ask and think about but it also is totally like Tommy’s character, sounds great until people start killing you. I really liked how the author wrote with suspense in this part of the book. I thought it was really interesting how the writer covered up the traitor, I would have never guessed the person it actually was. The writer was really good at covering that part up because I totally thought it was a different kid because he was acting weird all of the sudden.
Dear Author Robert Fluegel, Please ADD me in your books, for real! LIFE is so exciting, wonderful in your books, that I am now seriously JEALOUS of your characters! May I apply?
I love the idea of being able to jump in, & live the stories. A story within a story with it's own twists and turns which affect the twists of the outside story.. like how totally fascinating!
I have enjoyed the earlier books, and had been waiting for book 3. The characters have grown up some, gone through so much, and made me live each page with them! This series reminds me of when I was a child, and could not put down my Enid Blytons!
Kudos! When is book 4 out?
You can read each book as a stand-alone, but the fun is in reading the series sequentially. and then, hoping, while reading you would be able to breach it!
