Really good read and I loved the storyline. I couldn't put this book down read it in one setting and still want more. So many twist and turns and loaded with surprise at every turn. The drama and suspense kept me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what happened next with these characters and their families. It flowed a very good steady yet fast pace, but that only added more flair to the storyline and drew me in more and more. Some of the time lines were off but still a very well written story. Would love to see more growth from the two main characters in PT.2 and for Cali to have more backbone, young or not don't let anyone walk over you. Love the attraction between Cali and Compton and can't wait to see what's next for them. OMG....That ending...mouth wide out. Awesome job Heiress.

Character development sucks!!!
This story would be interesting but the way you describe the characters and their actions don't add up. I mean a virgin who now gets wet and kiss everybody from husbands ex and his cousin but loves her husband is too much. She is either shy or not. I can see if you built a story around the relationship with the cousin but he just pops up being helpful. I think this book has potential but in your need to add a twist it just messed up the characters to me.

Man oh man. I don't know what to say about this book. I am so mad right now because dude is being childish and living in the past. I just came to you. Compton needs to grow up. And Kelly needs to grow up to and maybe let Compton go and let him do his own deal. She gave his mama baby their marriage is nonexistent. Hopefully part two was better I'm about to start reading now because I don't like the way it ended. Let's see how this all turns out overall good book though. This article is very talented I look forward to reading more of her work.

Heiress isn't playing with y'all. She is killing every story she drops. This cliffhanger right here though left my mouth wide open. I'm like aww man don't end yet. Compton is causing all this mess to happen and Cali is just running off emotions so I don't blame her. She better exposed Compton and take the L because best believe Compton will take another L be the is dead wrong as well come on Book 2 I'm ready lol

Omg where do I begin?! Now I was feeling Compton and Cali together in the beginning but now I'm feeling like she can do better. They both need to grow up and either make it work hell at least try or just move on. I hope Monique get what's coming to her cause I believe she is nothing but a snake with a pretty face but what's done in the dark comes to the light. Great book can't wait for part 2!!!

Great book
OK ...Cali pregnant by C who is still in love with Mo who had slept with Black. All the while Sean feeling some type of way for Cali. Hmmmm but why C want say how he feel to Cali with this fake marriage.
Cali stupid for even doing all this. C want his cake n eat it too. Mo setting C up I think. Strange she was there when C got shot. N y didn't Cali come put the bathroom.

This book is really good. OMG SMH and any other emotional emoji. I thought this was another dope boy book but I was very wrong. This story is about love, deceit, betrayal, and loyalty. My heart goes out to Cali because this is all new to her. Compton is wrong but he is in love with Monique. Heiress you did your thang with this book. I hope book 2 has as much 🔥as book 1. Thank you for an actual love story.

Great Read!
Even though Cali and Compton was arranged to be married and have a baby together. They both ended up having feelings for one another. Compton wasn't trying to do the love thing all because of his ex Mo and ex Bestfriend Black. Then that ending I'm hoping that he let Cali redeem herself. And he doesn't really go back to Mo. Great book.

Heiress did her thing! I did not see that cliffhanger coming! I thought Cali would get kidnapped! I like Sean better for Cali because Compton is selfish and playing with different women's emotions! Wow, that was good. I really enjoyed this story from beginning to end. I can't wait to read part 2. My heart really goes out to Cali. Honestly, I am not Team Compton at all. She can do a lot better than him. I hope she eventually finds the love that she desires to have.

It's sad how this story started out my heart broke for Cali. Oh boy is a ass that need to get over himself he's hurt I get it but hell people get hurt everyday he don't want her so he need to let her go. Good book
Good book, I hated how Compton treated Cali, he was a true dog. Monique made mW sick, like really girl move around. I like Missy, she gave out to Cali straight. Comptfon wrong for bringing Monique to their house and sleeping with her. Cali need to woman up and quick and stop doing irrational stuff.

Awesome read
This was a awesome read. Compton is something else but he is ruthless in the streets. Cali was easy going but sassy which made her good for Compton. When he chose Mo, it was because of familiarity and fear of trying something new. I liked this read because it allowed me to see Compton's fear which was falling in love and being cheated on.

I love all of Heiress books and this one was no different. This is definitely a roller coaster of a relationship and I hope in part 2 Compton and Cali can see eye to eye! I was kind of on edge but in a good way I just need more of this book!

I couldn't put this book down. Cali was very naive and Compton was a jerk. His emotional issues made it hard for him to trust. Poor Cali can't catch a break! I can't wait for part 2!!!

That ending was everything. I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait for part two cause it's going down. They both got some explaining to do. I never understood how men want loyalty and they ain't loyal. I hope that Cali and Compton get it together

A good read that is well written with a steady flow. drama with a twist. She's young naive and innocent. He's young, street and crazy which makes for a good story line. drama, Jealousy and past issues that are interesting and keeps the reader wanting more

Where part 2 at?
Man this was my first read by this author and I thought it was good. Her story flowed well and she kept up the drama. We have to pray for Cali hard. I can't wait for part 2
