Serial Killer

Rate this book
SERIAL KILLER is a modern day thriller with Old Testament 'eye for a eye' justice - a revenge novel for the 21st century. For decades now, serial killers have taken centre-stage in the news and entertainment media. The coverage of real-life murderers such as Dennis Neilson and Ted Bundy has transformed them into ghoulish celebrities. Taylor Shelley was a mass murderer who genuinely believed she had a licence to kill. She wasn't just a executioner, but the newest member of a rare breed, the female serial killer. Her life had been ruined by 8 teenage boys. Each of them in turn will pay for the abuse they put her through. Taylor is determined to carve a path of revenge that will take each one down. Taylor is a woman seeking justice and goes on the rampage, believing that the only way to kill the pain, was to wipe out the source. Payback was brutal and bloody. Inspired by the historical sex crimes of Sir Jimmy Saville, Gary Glitter and Rolf Harris, she killed 8 times in six weeks. Her last and most famous victim was a well-known politician, who has climbed the ranks, riding on the coattails of his father-in-law. But Taylor knew what he was really like and he would be her Grand Finale. They started it, and she would end it.

This was one of those books, once you start you can-not stop.

Although it is a short story, it has absolutely everything in it you need to both imagine the characters and understand the story itself. No repetitive padding or inane fillers, just straight down the line informative story telling.

Abuse, sexual harassment, rape and the struggles in life that go with this. It is a hard harsh dark read but not enough to put you off reading the book. Not to make light of the subject matter the author tells the story straight and to the point. The tale unravels with emotion drawing you in until the very end and there is.......Oh....sweet revenge, you "almost" find yourself on the side of the serial killer.

I would definitely recommend this and i will be looking for something else this author has written.
