Seducing the Devil is a marvelous sequel to Paramour for the Devil filled with unexpected twists and even more undeniable passion. While we discover some answers to our questions, there are still more left dangling for us to fill in the blanks with our own imagination for now. What a brilliant, action-packed story that offers us a wonderfully complex yet highly entertaining plot with amazing characters that will rip your heart open and make their home inside! This is an unforgettable book that will have you running the gamut of human emotion while you fall deeper in love with each of these incredible characters.
Haley’s complicated life only gets more complex through this sequel. She only finds more question for every answer she uncovers. However, that doesn’t deter her from following her heart above all else. Damian thought he made the only decision he could to save his heart from dying. What he didn’t expect was for things to be turned upside down and yet finding himself in the same position before things feel apart. No matter how hard he tries to deny his heart, he finds himself propelled faster into the arms of this one try love where he never want to leave. Can they both finally find some peace, or will things lead them to even more danger since their hearts refused to be denied?
If I thought I loved Damian before, this story shows me exactly why I fell for him just as hard as Haley. There is so much more to him than meets the eye. This series keeps getting better and better! Savannah Hill is a captivating writer and in only two books, I've come to really enjoy her writing style. I had a really hard time putting his book down because I had to know what happened next. There is a HUGE twist in the book that had me yelling at my Kindle and wondering if Damian and Haley would get their HEA.
Seducing the Devil picks up shortly after Paramour for the Devil, and all of my favorite characters are back: Noah, Ginger, Stephen, Aimee, and others. The supporting characters don't, however, have as large a part in this book as they did in the first one. Given the storyline, however, that's completely understandable. As a reader, I'm hoping those characters will get their own books, just to learn more about them and their relationships.
I can't give away too much of the plot as it would spoil the twist, but I can say that Haley and Damian's backgrounds are delved into further, their bond strengthens, and their love grows. I will most assuredly be picking up the rest of the books in this series, especially after that ending! :-) The book doesn't end in a cliffhanger, per say, but a lot of information is provided and/or alluded to, which I'm hoping will be covered in the next one. There were parts in the book that felt a little rushed or shortchanged, such as with Haley's cousin Emily, but I didn't take a star off because I'm hoping that Emily gets her own book and the 'missing pieces' will be addressed there.
There aren't as many sex scenes in this book as there were in the first one, but they're hotter! Damian is a man who aims to please and knows what he's doing! The sex scenes had some BDSM, including knife play, spanking, whipped and being tied up, but that added element gave the scenes that much more heat! If you're looking for a hot, in-depth paranormal romance with a little bit of darkness, don't miss out on this book! ***Trigger Warning: There are some discussions about rape that previously occurred and a scene of attempted rape.***

This is the second book in Savannah Hill's Hawthorne Witches saga and must be read in order to truly understand the character development and the plot as it unfolds.The book picks up where the first leaves off with Haley and Damian continuing to explore their relationship. All seems well, however the evil forces of Damian's world (meaning his uncle and his father Lucifer) intervene to bring them both back to Hell, as Lucifer wants to force Damian's hand in taking over for him as the lord of the underworld. A fight ensues and Damian is forced to accept a deal with the devil in order to save Haley's life, but Lucifer resets time to before they met. However, Lucifer did not count on their love being able to transcend the reset and he must come up with a way to foil their relationship again. It was interesting to see how they met up again and just knew there was something about each other that created a sense of deja vu. And I loved how Damian realized that it was love he was feeling for Haley all along, when he thought he could never have those feelings. The book does end with a HEA of sorts, but leaves questions to be answered in the next book. I can't wait for the story to continue and see what will transpire between these two, as well as see where the secondary characters might come into play.

Just when Haley and Damian think life is going well they are dragged back to Hell by Raden's demons. When Raden is finished with Haley, Damian begs Lucifer to help him and finds himself back in Hell before he met Haley. Just because Lucifer turns back the clock doesn't mean he can rewrite history.

When Haley and Damian are pulled back to Hell, I wasn't sure where the story would go. But Lucifer's best attempts at rewriting history cannot undo the love Haley has for Damian. As things progress, the story takes an unexpected turn that gives Haley and Damian everything they want. True love does survive the test of time.

An interesting and intense paranormal romance. Lots of action and some steamy scenes. Damian is a son of Lucifer. His father and his uncle are evil, but is he? Haley may be the only thing that is good in his life. But death will change everything including his love.
I really enjoyed the twist at the beginning of the book. I got a little confused in the middle, but all things were explained by the end.

Seducing the Devil, The Hawthorne Witches Book 2, is another scorching hot read by Savannah Hill. The book gets sizzling fast and remains that way throughout the story. I love the vivid descriptions! It's full of surprises and will keep you turning the pages. Looking forward to hearing more of the story! Thanks Savannah for another great story!

This is the second book in the series and book one, Paramour for the Devil, needs to be read first.
Haley Hawthorne is a witch who was previously held as a sex slave by Raden. Haley is in love with Damian Pierce who rescued Haley from his Uncle Raden and in turn left his father Lucifer and works against him.
Unfortunately for Haley and Damian, Lucifer and Radan are still out for vengeance and escaping for a second time won't be very easy.
This was another great story in this series and I have been eagerly waiting for it!
Haley is interesting as she has no idea who she really is and neither does the reader. Some people refer to her as a queen and I am super curious to see where that leads us. She is strong and wants to do whatever she can for Damian and their love. She does what she can for him and fights through a lot to get to where she is. I was super mad at who turned on her and I hope we are able to discover more about that in future books.
I have always loved Damian and his love for Haley is so strong that he would do absolutely anything to protect her. He went against everything he believed in just to keep her safe. I was so mad at his punishment from Radan and I was glad he was able to get through it all ok.
I am super excited to see what the future holds with how everything left off!

HOT!!!!!! There is no doubt about the chemistry between Haley and Damian. What a great continuation of book 1 Paramour for the Devil. Haley and Damian are as hot as ever in this installment of The Hawthorne Witches series. I wasn’t sure what to expect I can’t fine enough good words to explain this book it was a fantastic read.
After all of the turmoil Haley goes through with her uncle Eli in book 1 this next book should be their HEA right? Not so much at least not in the sense I was thinking. Damian is happier then he has ever been and Haley is finally feeling more like herself. The couple are attending a fashion auction when they are attached by demons and dragged back to hell.
Not surprisingly they end up in Raden’s bedroom where they are fighting off multiple demons. Haley is fighting with the enchanted knife given to her by Damian and she plunges it into Raden’s groin. Feeling good about her attach Raden turns the table and plunges her knife into her chest. Damian is on the other side of the room witnessing the events unfold as he fights. Haley falls to the ground and dies in Damian’s arms. Could not believe this just happened. I have to tell you I was extremely sad and pissed off at the same time. How can you kill of Haley so early in the book!!!!!!!!!
In a desperate attempt to save her life Damian goes to his father, Lucifer, to beg him to help. You can just about imagine the deal he had to strike with the devil himself to save her. The deal is Damian must never join Adversus and he must take his rightful place on the throne. Damian agrees. They are thrust back in time before Damian joins the Adversus and Haley is still being held captive by Raden.
I hesitate to take this review any further into the book because there is so much that happens here that I feel will give away the story. The question ran through my head while reading. How can there be a story if they have been cast apart and they have no memory of their time together? Is it possible to keep true love alive even when separated? Why do they call Haley the Queen Witch? Will the get their HEA?
Not all of my question got answered and the story takes another twist later on which had my head spinning. This book is darker than the first one and the chemistry between Haley and Damian is hotter than ever. The scenes are panty melting and will cause you to scrim in your seat.
I recommend this series for anyone who thoroughly enjoys reading dark, twisted, erotic books.
