Mrs Jackson has done it again. She is my favorite African American writer. I met her at the Morgan State University Book Symposium in 2016, she autographed all eight of her books I brought with me ,and we took a picture together, she respects her readers. I enjoyed reading this book because of the patience she brings to lovers and their conclusions, and thinking how finding true love is an amazing feeling.
Even though it extremely short , I enjoyed this read.. The character development was satisfactory. And the plot was engaging. The perfect second chance read .
I’ve always love ready Brenda Jackson books. They are always great. This one was no exception, story was very interesting from the start to the end. Keep up the great work.
Brenda Jackson always delivers interesting stories and characters. This was a novella so the characters weren’t fully developed, but I still enjoyed the premise. Their story began before we read the first page. I recommend it to Brenda Jackson fans!
I like this book a lot I remember reading it while back but then I don't remember some parts about it again it was like the first it left me totally satisfied.
This was a short second chance romance. She was plotting to get him back and he found out. He wanted her back and came up with a plot of his own. I enjoyed this a lot.
Very short but fun to read. The woman had a tunnel vision and only thought about her ambition without regards to her lover. It is a good book to acknowledge that success with loneliness is not something to look up to. It was sweet and shows that relationship are worth fighting for and cherishing.
