According to the third edition of The Mann Dictionary of Savage Intimacy, consent is defined as “compliance in expectation of being ravished while bound.” Lauded by both the National Leather Association-International and Lambda Literary Awards, Mann writes stories—perhaps even true tales—that produce dangerous levels of testosterone, vigor, and seminal fluids. But the author’s favorite trophies do not hang on the wall—though they are often well-hung—but are kept trussed atop the bed in anticipation of consent. This book features commissioned erotic sketches and photographs.
Jeff Mann’s poetry, fiction, and essays have appeared in many publications, including Prairie Schooner, Shenandoah, Laurel Review and The Gay and Lesbian Review Worldwide. He has published three award-winning poetry chapbooks, Bliss, Mountain Fireflies, and Flint Shards from Sussex; two full-length books of poetry, Bones Washed with Wine and On the Tongue; a collection of personal essays, Edge: Travels of an Appalachian Leather Bear; a book of poetry and memoir, Loving Mountains, Loving Men; and a short fiction volume, A History of Barbed Wire, which won a Lambda Literary Award. He teaches creative writing at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Jeff Mann has come up with yet another erotic winner…compelling and hot, even for someone who doesn’t share his BDSM fetish…he writes about eroticism with humor and a total mastery of its origins in his own psyche. He’s clearly thought about what he likes and why, and he shares this information unflinchingly. Out in Print review at: https://outinprintblog.wordpress.com/...
Definitely X rated but Jeff Mann is a good M/M erotic BDSM writer (and one of the stories even stars him). This one contains several short stories and one longer one at the end. The only one I didn't really care for was the last one. Seemed a little bit more sadistic and mean.
