Wow! The hero is obsessed! I liked the story but I liked the first book I've read by the author more than this one.
The story is about Max and Jessica.
Her father died. She has no family and nowhere to go. She needed money and decided to join the auction when a man in a limo told her about it.
Max is a billionaire and his assistant talked him into attending a virgin auction. At first, he thought it's not his scene but once he saw her walked out onto the stage, he wanted to own her.
He tried to outbid the other bidders but his button breaks and the other bidder won. He won't let her go though and did what he had to do to have her and to keep her safe.
The story is good but I'm curious about the other bidder. It wasn't solved. They just left and that's it.
It has an epilogue.

I think I'm just getting pickier about these short OTT stories. I want them to atleast be written as mature adults. Normally, I would love this type of story but for one, it wasn't much of a story and the H seriously acted like someone was taking his favorite toy away from him. That's not attractive to me.

I like short novellas with Insta love and all that crap but this? This was , in my opinion, way over the top. It was a three star read and then the note at the end that said Max sold all his businesses after he 'saved her'? You know what I mean?

This is sweet fast and hot as hell!

This is not how Jessica thought her life would turn out or that she would be auctioning off her virginity so she could survive after the recent death of her father in an accident she left with no choice. Medical bills are crippling her and she’s lost her home living in the streets this was her only real option. But could her saviour be closer than she ever thought?
Very short read but highly entertaining none the less and the connection between the characters is white hot from the second they set eyes on each other.

Olivia T. Turner has a ton of potential as an author, my only complaint is her books are a little too short. I didn't read her books in the order they were released but I could definitely see how her work improved with each book. Max Banks is a billionaire businessman who let his assistant, Jeff talk him into attending a virgin auction. He thinks it's barbaric but he goes anyway with no intention of bidding on anyone. His feelings change as soon as he sees eighteen year old Jessica step in the auction room. Jessica never thought she'd be auctioning off her virginity but she's desperate. Her father recently died after being in a horrible motorcycle crash and his hospital bills were overwhelming. She lost her childhood home and was living on the streets until a guy in a limo told her about the auction. Due to a malfunctioning button Max looses the bid for Jessica and takes matters into his own hands.

Plot: Jessica is down on her luck and needs some money, fast. She's convinced to offer herself in a virgin auction. At the same time, someone is convincing Max to go to the auction and possibly bid on a virgin for himself. He goes, but doesn't intend to bid. But when he sees Jessica, he means to make her his. Only there's a malfunctioning button that says she belongs to someone else!
Commentary: Silly, as always. I wonder if there really is a proliferation of virgin auctions - that's what romance novels tell me, anyways. I think it's kind of hilarious; usually, the hero wins the auction for a ridiculous amount of money. In this case, he actually loses due to a technical problem. He doesn't let that stop him though! He can't (not quite legally) legitimately buy her, so he just steals her.

This is quick like super quick.. read finished it in 30ish minutes.
And a first for me seeing our Hero lose a Auction.. the reason was well Max pressed his button breaking it had him almost lose his girl.. well he did lose her but being a OTT alpha he broke the glass window where his girl was and took her away.. as for Jessica she was happy to go with him.. feeling something pull towards him and well he gives her a quick chance to say no.. steamy sex in the sky and thats pretty much it. Kinda wish we had more details in this book.. 😕

I liked this book but I didn’t like it as much as the previous books of Olivia’s that I have read. One of the things I love about Olivia T Turner’s books is that she knows how to create over the top alphas. I liked both hero and heroine but I would have liked to have seen more scenes between them. I liked that
Max was an over the top alpha. As soon as he saw Jessica he was determined to have her. He wasn’t going to let the wining bidder take his woman. He went full on caveman style saving her/stealing her.
I liked the epilogue for this book. I liked that Jessica finally got her happily ever after.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a fast paced read.

Least favorite Turner story
As a HUGE Olivia T Turner Fangirl, I hate leaving this review. This is the first story of her's that fell flat for me. I love short instalove stories that completely surpass any sense of realism, but I wasn't feeling this. First story of hers I didn't feel the connection. The smut was still crazy hot, but this one didn't work for me. I was TOLD these characters were crazy about one another but didn't feel it. I also got super distracted by a small discrepancy about the heroine's hair color

My biggest pet peeve: the writer can’t remember what color the main character’s hair is. First it’s brown, then blonde, then brown again. That’s in the same scene! It’s not like she had time to color it and then change her mind. Details! You set the scene in the readers mind. Stick with it. I realize these are simple erotic reads that I’ve been enjoying up to this point, but I expected more from you OTT. Smack your proofreader.

This is a relatively new to me author of which I am thoroughly enjoying the steaminess. Jessica is young, innocent, and desperate. Max is rich and worldly wise who falls flat on his face for her. I loved this one!
Max really took me by surprise with his thundering through the Virgin Auction and taking Jessica at the end of the auction. He was bound and determined that she was going to be his and damn the consequences.
Jessica having this be her last resort was hoping that someone would rescue her but still love her. She got her wish.

Over-the-top, Obsessive, Alpha Robin Hood!
Yep, I said "Robin Hood," stealing from his fellow billionaires to save a virgin from any other man but him. It's everything you except and love to read from Ms. Turner, fast-pace, high intensity, extremely erotic and entertaining. There is nothing realistic about this story (although, I have learned that the "selling of virginity" is an actual thing) which is exactly what you sometimes need!! Great, fast read!!
