Luc, Carter, and Jake make up the Buffalo Intimidators' top scoring line and play together both on and off the ice, with a history of sharing women. Each of them is also a client of massage therapist Eva. When they decide they want to be more than just clients, they approach her about having a ménage a quatre.

Eva's been secretly lusting after the guys for months, but was afraid to say anything in an attempt to keep her relationship with the guys on a strictly professional level. Besides, how could she pick just one when such mouthwatering displays of masculinity are spread out on her massage table every day? She agrees to the ménage, but when serious health problems begin to plague members of the team, will she want more than a quick score with her hockey boys?

First, let me start that saying I really enjoyed this story. At a bit over 100 pages it really packed a punch in a short amount of time. We have Luc, Jake and Carter, all hockey players for the Intimidators. They've all been going to see Eva, a masseuse, and they've developed a shared attraction for her. They've shared women in the past, so there is definitely open communication between them. They decide they are going to ramp up the flirtation, and together make a play for Eva. Little do they know, she's been fantasizing about them just as much as they have been about her!

I really enjoyed this bit of very erotic romance. I imagine it must be difficult to write a menage a quatre and have it be romantic and believable all at the same time. Cassandra Carr did just that with this story. It isn't overly graphic, you won't find yourself uncomfortable by the language. It is definitely aiming to turn you on, and it will succeed. If you are into menage stories, then you definitely must give this one a try. I did not read the first book in the Buffalo Intimidators series (but definitely will after reading this!), but I didn't have any problem keeping up or finding my place in the timeline when previous characters were mentioned.

All three of these men proposition Eva, and it isn't long before she accepts. What I really enjoyed about these guys is their gentle nature. I mean, let's face it, they're hockey players - they are used to being rough and calling the shots. But when it comes to Eva, they collectively treat her as a treasure. They think of her feelings and concerns, and definitely of her pleasure. The question is, how will they make it work, and how far is everyone willing to go?

There was also a subplot involving a health problem, as the synopsis says. I don't want to get too much into that, some things are best left for surprises - remember, no spoilers! But I really wasn't expecting it, and I found myself holding my breath waiting for the outcome. I think that adding that bit of drama was the perfect addition to this story, and worked perfectly in its capacity. Haha, is that vague enough? I really loved that this book wasn't just sex scene after sex scene. There's a lot of story behind it, and you really feel like you've left the book getting a peek into someone's life.

The question Eva asks herself is, is it possible to fall in love with three men at once? Hopefully it is indeed possible! I definitely recommend this book to my readers. If you are into erotica, or erotic romance you will definitely enjoy this read.

Eva has every woman’s dream job; she massages the half naked, sweaty bodies of hockey players. Recently she has been lusting after the offensive line of the Buffalo Intimidators, all three of them. Luke, Carter and Jake couldn’t be more different in looks or personality but they have one thing in common; their taste in women. Recently no woman has caught the attention of the three of them like the delectable Eva has. Sharing women is nothing new but looking at one in terms of a relationship is certainly a new twist.

They know they need to act swiftly and smartly; just how do three men convince one woman to allow them to share her? Using their appointment times they begin to try to seduce her (notice I say seduce...they have the subtlety of a brick!) Eva had already been having naughty thoughts about the three men, it really doesn’t take much to convince her into some horizontal time with three men who want to service her every need. Convincing her to stay for longer will certainly take more tricks. When health problems start to affect the team, will she decide to go all in?

This novella is only 146 pages long but it was sure steamy. It is book two in the series but I don’t think they really need to be read in order. I have read a few M/F/M/M stories before and I’ve found them hit and miss. Often, I find the story convoluted and the characters two-dimensional and nameless because there are simply too many people for me to keep up with. This story didn’t feel like that at all! I liked Eva immensely and managed to keep the men’s characters straight, making this little tale all the hotter. I need emotion in my sex for it to get my pulse racing, I need to give a damn about them to get involved with their emotions...it’s just IKEA sex without it (Put piece “A” into slot “B”).

Eva was the making of this tale to me. Yes, the men were all dream hunks who I’d be happy to drop skirt for, but it was Eva that kept me engaged with the emotion of the story. She was a strong intelligent woman who wasn’t shy about her lust for the three men. She knew what she wanted and agreed quickly. I have to say I found the scenes where she is described as giggling to be a little at odds with her character but this is just nit-picking. The reason that I managed to keep the men (mainly) straight was due to the scenes where they “seduce” her separately. Without these scenes, I don’t think I would have been able to see them as individuals. They all had a unique style for talking and coaxing her; Jake is the smooth charmer, Luc is the dirty-talker and Carter is the direct-but-sexy one. These scenes were fun, sensuous and very bloody useful. The men were shown as both individuals and a unit and because of this I believed that they could fall for one woman.

The sex was hot, steamy and satisfying. Of course there is buttsex...it’s a ménage! There is no sexual contact between the men though and all attention is focused on Eva! I liked the fact that they were all at different stages of acceptance over the relationship, that they all expected different outcomes from their tryst. I have never believed in love stories between multiple partners that came easy and this one certainly didn’t.

Overall, a smutty little read with three hot sports players. What more do you need to know?

You haven’t read a good ménage or quatre as it were unless you’ve read a Cassandra Carr, this was in fact my first quatre read and I very much enjoyed it, the steamy scenes are so well written and never too graphic but never leave you feeling disappointed. Luc, Carter and Jake have been coming to Eva for messages but they all want something more from her, they want her all for themselves, and they love to share. Eva is unsure of what to do at first but after a little thinking she knows that she wants what the guys want as well. Out of the three men, I think Jake might have been my favourite...or maybe Carter, who am I kidding is it impossible to pick just one! I liked how all the characters meshed well together and each had their own personality that leapt off the page. It was also nice that the characters from the previous book “Head Games” also got a mention. There was some good humour mixed in with the story, I just loved Eva’s spark;

“Eva glowered at him. “Unless you want the possibility of me kicking a very sensitive area, I’d suggest you not tickle my foot.” Luc backed up a step and both of the other guys chuckled...”.

I devoured this book in one sitting, I couldn’t stop reading. I wanted to read more and more. I also liked the trouble that came with the supplement situation, it added a realness to the read and really sucked you in to what was happening and left you eager to find out how everything was to turn out. I think I liked the first book a little more than this one but this was still a book that I really liked; Cassandra Carr writes sport themed erotic reads like no one else. A book that I really liked, Cassandra Carr writes sport themed erotic reads like no one else.

Luc, Carter and Jake all go to the same massage therapist, Eva. They all like her and would like to engage in a menage with her. They all ask her during each of their appointments if she would be open to a menage. She says yes and BAM...we got ourselves a foursome.

The four of them work their way through a somewhat casual, if exclusive arrangement, to trying to make it somewhat permanent. What I missed in this story that was in the first Buffalo Intimidator book was how they were going to deal with their relationship once it went public. While their teammates may be very open to an alternate lifestyle, they might be a bit of backlash from the media and press for the guys and/or the loss of clients with Eva. How would they deal with that?

Now I'll admit I had to wonder how a foursome was going to work. I know there are 3 orifices in which each male could take pleasure, but that is a lot of arms and legs to try and integrate to the process. Then there is the touching factor. Each of these men, from the brief history that we got about them, are very alpha and don't seem like the kind that would want any kind of touching going on from the other guys during the acts. In fact, there was no touching except from Eva. That left me scratching my head, because with all those bodies I wouldn't think it possible for them not to touch...even in a non-sexual manner. To me, if I'm going to engage in a menage, I'd like to know that everyone was interested in each others pleasure, not just themselves and the one they're physically engaging in the act with.

If you like a read with some very hot sex with three ultra sexy hockey player and a massage therapist who proves she's more woman than I am, this is the book for you.

I would like to start this off by saying I am jealous. Extremely. I would love to be Eva!! Can you imagine 3 hot hockey studs that all want to be yours and they are willing to share? So this books starts off with our hotties looking to move in on the hottest massage therapist around. This has to be awkward:) I mean what if they put themselves out there and she told them no? So they have in depth discussions on how to approach this delicate situation and to make sure they are all on the same page about Eva. So they come up with the idea to start pushing at her with some heavier flirting. Hopefully this will tell them if Eva is on board or disgusted.

Eva is definitely on board. She has tried to keep her personal feelings out of the picture because they were three of her best customers. But when the bomb is dropped about the guys sharing women, Eva loses the hormonal battle and begins fantasising about the guys. Who wouldn't? She is blown away when they finally come out and tell her what they want. Sure she had done menages, but a quatre? How did one even go about that? And why was she sooo excited and not weirded out in the least?

So I am drooling as I am reading, thinking about how freaking lucky Eva is and how I would like to switch places with her. But what started out as fun suddenly takes a more complicated turn. Two of the pack decide they want to keep Eva on a more permanent basis. Carter is unsure and needs time. Will this beautiful arrangement shatter? Especially with something strange going on with the hockey team? It was a good read, especially if your reading and thinking about how you could actually pull something like this together in real life :) I wish I could!!

Cold as Ice is the second book of the Buffalo Intimidator Series that follows a professional hockey team.

In this book we meet Leo, Luc and Carter. Eva is their massage therapist who they want more from than just a full body rub. The guys have shared women before, but Eva is different for them. They want more than just one night of passion, they want a relationship. Eva is the recipient of the ultimate “Hat Trick” scoring three guys in a single game.

This book is definitely written by a hockey fan. I loved the details that were written about the game and the team. The locker room banter, talk of pranks between the players, the details of the points and playoffs were genuine.

I liked how the four characters only pay attention to what they all want out of this ménage relationship and not what others think.

There is a secondary story line apart from the bond forming between the guys and Eva. I liked this aspect. Not only is it an issue that I am sure is common among professional athletes; it added another layer to this story.

Ms. Carr definitely knows how to melt the ice with her scorching sex scenes. She does a great job describing the setting . Even though there are a lot of body parts getting tangled together, it flows well and there is no question as to whose dangly parts are where.

I can’t wait to see how this series continues.

Cold As Ice is book 2 in the Buffalo Intimidator series and it does not disappoint. What a fun and sexy way to read about hockey! Team mates and friends Luc, Jake, and Carter all have feelings for their massage therapist, Eva and they want to indulge in their desire to share her. Eva has feelings for all of them as well and agrees when they approach her. Readers get to see how she interacts with all three of the guys together and individually and the love that's developing beyond the sex. This is true when a health scare with team players comes to light and Luc is affected. The characters were well developed and I loved the differences in each guys' personalities which complemented each other in their relationship with Eva in and out of the bedroom. Luc is the serious, dominant one looking to settle down with the right woman, Jake is the tender and caring soul who wants to take care of the woman, and Carter is the carefree one who's not sure if he's ready to make a commitment yet. I liked that Eva was a strong female character and not afraid of going after what she wanted which was refreshing to see. And those sex scenes in the bedroom and in her massage room was smoking hot!!! I could not put this book down until I finished.

A health scare occurring among the players who have taken supplemental vitamins draws emotions to the forefront and you see the importance of friendship and love. I loved all the characters and their different personalities. Luc is the serious and dominant one who's looking to settle down as his career is winding down. Jake is the tender and caring one to those he loves and Carter is the youngest and more carefree who's unsure about making a serious commitment. All three complement each other in their relationship with Eva in and out of the bedroom. And those sex scenes were smoking hot!!! Eva is a strong female and is not afraid to go after what she wants which is refreshing to see. I look forward to reading the next book in this wonderful series by Cassandra Carr.

What would you do if you had three men that wanted you??

Eva has a perfect job she…gets to put her hands on some of the hottest, hardest and sexiest bodies around; she is a massage therapist and three of her top clients are from the local hockey team The Buffalo Intimidators. While she enjoys touching, feeling and working out their tight and hard muscles, it's killing her and what little restraint she has.

It not Not only is it killing her, but the men are going nuts as well. These men don't do anything alone—they are a team—on and off the ice. Can she? Would she be willing? Only one way to find out, the men get their game plan together and shoot for the goal. Oh' and what a GOAL it is!!

One thing Cassandra Carr is is good at is making her characters loveable, funny, and believable. She does erotic romance with a sports theme that any woman would love to read…sexy and provocative without pushing too many limits.

This is book #2 in the he Buffalo Intimidators and it just keeps getting hotter and hotter. I can't wait for more, but the ice rink better turn up the cooler ‘cause these boys are gonna melt the ice they are so hot!!

Cold As Ice is the second book in the Buffalo Intimidators series by Cassandra Carr. And how does she top the first series with Scott, Kelly and Leo. Oh how about adding an third guy. Luc, Jake and Carter, oh my! Eva is one lucky woman! Ok so I really enjoyed seeing Scott, Kelly and Leo. Would have loved to have seen the commitment ceremony between Scott, Kelly & Leo but that isn't relevant. Of the three men, we have two ready to commit. And I love the little tension that goes on. I mean this is a relationship with 3 men, it can be all sunshine and rainbows right? At one point I wanted to smack these men upside the head. The Buffalo Intimidators team are falling ill and Eva told her men to watch their health after starting a new supplement. And do they listen to her, NO! Ugh!
If you like menages this is a great book and if you are not into M/M there is no need to worry there is no M/M in this book. I look forward to the next book in this series.

The second book in the Intimidators series is just as enjoyable as the first one. The guys-Luc, Carter and Jake have all been seeing Eva as their massage therapist, but secretly want more. Eva is not sure if she could pick one if given a choice so she jumps right in when they propose sharing her. The guys' personalities come together and you find out how extremely gentle and caring they all are towards her. And Eva has a strong personality of her own, she's not shy at all, she knows what she wants.

Then real life problems surface as might happen in the sportsworld, won't go into that to ruin it for those who haven't read it yet, but be assured drama will have you turning the pages until the end!

I also really enjoyed having the characters from the first story make an appearance. Can't wait to read about the rest of the team...

Note to self: DO NOT READ AT WORK!! I was beat red my entire shift, which was only two and a half hours, but I blamed it on the heat! ;)

This is book 2 of the Buffalo Intimidators series. This is also another menage story, so if that is not something you like then the series is not for you.

Eva is the local massage therapist who has some of the Intimidators as clients.

Luc, Jake and Carter are teammates, friends and they all like Eva.

What happens when they decide to give a relationship a try? A HOT story!!

What happens when the team doc makes a bad decision? A scary situation.

Great story that is definitely making me want to read book 3 RIGHT NOW!! Sadly, I will have to wait.

Cold as Ice is Cassandra Carr's second book in her Buffalo Intimidators. Each book can be read as a standalone book.

Cold as Ice features three hockey players: Luc, Jake, and Carter who are best friends off the ice. They have shared women in the past and after they realize they all like their personal massage therapist, they decide to see if she is willing to date all three.

I found the plot very interesting. I liked the mystery of the players' sickness and that the unique relationship did cause some stress among friends. Just made the story & relationship seem more believable. Definitely recommend!

Wow, this was my first story with three men and a woman, and my questions have been answered on who does what and when. :) If you enjoyed the first book in the series, then your really going to enjoy this one. Cassandra Carr told a great little tale and I really enjoyed the heroine in this story. Oh, and I REALLY enjoyed the men. Can I borrow them sometime? They were men you could really fall for.
