In my younger days I didn't enjoy the Psalms as much as other parts of the Bible but dutifully read them as I knew/know them to be the Word of God. As I grow in the Lord I realize how marvelous this book is. Prophecies, praise, doctrine and exhortation that can bless the soul and guide the life. Powerful book that can change your life!

Psalm is such a joy to read. There a chapters that just magnify and glorify God. There are also chapters where the writer will pour out their complaint and anguish to God. What I appreciate about Psalm is that it doesn't matter how the writer starts off complaining, it always ends with a triumphant praise.
