Honestly, the thing that annoyed me with this book, is that the couple have a problem communicating. Nic and her man are the worst. Why for the life of me, she couldnt tell him it was her das i dont know, and then he just automatically assumed she is cheating on him, and uses that chance to get head from some one and then threatening Nic on top of it. Then she just accepts it, once he gives her sex, that was damn disrespectful.

Another Good Read

Well this book had me a little nervous with all those almost and encounters with these wanna be side pieces. It was nice to see that Nic was just about as crazy her husband. I liked this one because the ladies got their hands a little dirty as well.

Just my opinion

Just my opinion , this book was lame. The entire 1-4. Things didn't add up, time slots didn't add up the disrespect, and the allowance of disrespect was ridiculous. But again just my opinion!

I’m glad I read the Crenshaw Kings series first. I can tell she has grown as an author bc this was a hot mess. 😂😂😂

If they like it, I guess I love it… but whew, these girls better stand UP.

Let me go on record and say this: Morgan and Dreeis were the ONLY ones who didn’t make my blood boil this book. Everybody else? I got beef.

Let’s break it down because I need y’all to understand how these men fumbled the bag repeatedly:
• Kendrew wasn’t out here cheating, but a surprise baby mama popping up and him trying to be Captain Loyalty to her over Deja? Nah. Absolutely not. He was really pissing me off.
• Kendon, are you dumb? Dealing with Adrianne and entertaining her delusion that she could compete with Jessica? Boy, be serious. You were supposed to shut that down HARD. Not let it linger.
• Kendrick, I’m tired of you. So every time things get hard, your go-to coping mechanism is cheating? You’re like a broken record. A disappointing, community peen record. Ain’t no way you’d be my man in ANY book.
• Kayden… I had hope for you. I really did. But you fumbled. Again. Yes, Chrissy stood on some business and got her lick back, but if it were me? I would’ve gone full scorched earth. She let you off easy.
• Damien and Danielle might be the only couple that actually understands the meaning of “solid.” That man has not once disrespected her, played in her face, or put her in dumb situations. Him and Dreeis are the only men worth speaking to in this whole book.
• Morgan and Dreeis? Thank you. The only couple I could root for without needing to pause and take deep breaths. They held each other down and stayed in their own lane, as they should.

Overall, this book just had me irritated. The girls love their men, and I love that for them—but I need them to stop accepting less. Where are the standards?! Where is the backbone?! The disrespect was flying left and right and most of them were just like “oh well 🥲.” I can’t.

Still, the chaos had me hooked. Even annoyed, I couldn’t stop turning the page. Three stars because Shvonne always keeps it messy—and apparently, I love mess… just not this much of it.

I’ve binged all these books in the series over a weekend…

By this point in the series, I’ve noticed the pattern. Man gets mad, and then he goes and cheats… Woman finds out, and then she gets mad… man comes back and apologizes… Woman cries… Man initiate sex with woman… Woman forgives him and they move on.

The storyline, however, without the relationship issues is pretty good.

However, I did not like the father coming in trying to control things. That was just weird. It was weird because he admired Kendrick but then also didn’t want his daughter with Kendrick… But then he also had never spoken 2 words to Nic prior to him coming back. So I feel like he came on way too strong. I also did not like how Nic didn’t just tell Kendrick what was going on with her father, which could have prevented so much if she would have just communicated. But I guess that’s how you keep the storyline going.

Each book gets better

I love the Good Girls Love Thugs series. Each book gets better. I especially loved the ending of the book because the characters had gone through so much at the beginning. They deserved some happiness and peace, and I'm glad they got it. I can't wait to read the next book. I know it's going to be great as well. The King brothers and their families are something else. I recommend this series to anyone who loves hood romances it romantic suspense stories in general.

That was everything

The kings made me very happy. Kendrick not only lewd his street team he also looked out for his family by any means necessary. When Nic’s dad popped up and was trying to be the general throwing commands Kendrick put a stop to it him and his brothers and their women had their share of wacky drama but I love how they all weathered all of the storms.

This was a good book. Its sad how a father could be out ya life for so many years and come back thinking he can run your life and choose who you can love. Niko was a fool for thinking he could do that to Nic. I am glad everyone was able to still hold on to one another and keep each other happy. Its probably never easy to find a soul mate. Once you find that special someone never let them go. I love to have the kind of love they all have minus the cheating though loll

Another great book added to the series really kept me on the my toes. Those King Brothers are really indestructible it I’m not mad either . They relationships are so crazy but kudos to Dreeis he the only one who has been on the 100% straight and narrow. I’m excited to move on the next book in the series.

Great read

Those young ladies had it good no lie I never thought that they would be married to those brothers and cousin though. Nic father was something else I’m glad that she did kill him though. July was definitely a mess though. They all deserve to die for trying to play them though.

This series was good. However, The women did allow the men’s infidelities without any consequence. All they had to do was sex them like crazy and all was forgiven. Other than that the series were a great read. Good job Shvonne Latrice!

This book got me hot. To love a thug you will need to understand a thug. The lack of trust and communication had me hot. Why couldn’t they trust their thugs to handle the situation. Miscommunication cased unnecessary drama.

I did like the story plot though.
