The General
The clock is ticking. The showdown is close.
In Golden City, New York, Jessie Tacket must find and face the rogue general who trained her to be a teen spy and female assassin. He wants her back, and he’s laid a trap to recapture her. Detective Vick Tacket is bruised and concussed, yet she won't give up hope. She’s put too many people in danger, and she has to fix it. She’ll do whatever it takes to keep the others alive, even if it means she'll never see her daughter again. Jessie has the skills and healing abilities to survive on her own. She’ll be fine.

The Tacket Secret Series Book Seven
Jessie Tacket had been doing her best to stay off the general's radar. The man who murdered her parents and took her as a child. He had made her his weapon. Now at fourteen, she has been free of him for several years.
Unfortunately her new guardian—and adoptive mother—Vick Tacket, has tried to find the general. Vick just didn't understand that only a weapon like Jessie can stop him. Now Vick and another officer have gone missing, along with that officer's daughter. And only one person can save them. Jessie. As a new Christian though, can she truly kill the general?
The saga continues. I really enjoy this series. They are short stories that have pulled me and kept a steady pace. Each book continues from the previous one.

The action and bloodshed really ramped up in this final episode of a fantastic series. These books do not stand alone. They must be read in order, readers cannot miss any, and each book ends in a cliffhanger. I purchased the first book but then borrowed the rest on Kindle Unlimited and read them all back to back within a couple of days, total. Absolutely loved them all and they were completely worthwhile. I would highly recommend them. Best if read one right after the other as each book picks up right after the previous one. It seems there will be another series spin off in the future for this series. I would love to read it also.

A Young Relatable Hero You’ll Love!
The finale was so so good. The action and emotions were off the chart as Jessie and her guardian/Mom, Vic, bond over the worst thing that could happen. Cue the General. This series did not disappoint, perfect for teens and adults. I loved that Jessie wrestled with some basic Christian principles but it was in no way preachy. The ending was satisfying but I could see Jessie and Vic returning with new adventures. At least I hope so :).

The whole book is a climax of this fun, action-packed series and it is an epic climax. Nonstop action and suspense. Excellent payoff. I loved every minute of it and want some more, please!
