Colorado Springs homicide detective, Storm Harrison, is haunted by the death of a young girl who died in his arms when he was a rookie on the Colorado Springs Police Department. He had a chance to kill the suspect but didn’t and blames himself for her death. Katy Taylor is a County Prosecutor who is afraid to get involved with men after being sexually assaulted when she was a law student. She and Storm are both seeing the same therapist, Dr. Robert Martin, who is also Katy’s uncle. Things get complicated when Dr. Martin discovers his two favorite patients are dating each other. Storm is working several homicides of young girls when he discovers the suspect is the same man who killed the little girl that haunts him. When Storm publicly discloses the suspect’s identity, the suspect decides to kill Storm and Katy. The hunter now becomes the hunted. At the trial, Katy’s ex-boyfriend is the defense attorney. Everyone thinks they know who the killer is until new evidence is entered into the trial that causes everyone to take another look at the facts. It is a true whodunit murder mystery with an ending that will leave you scratching your head.

Mesa's James Patterson!

This is the second book I have read by Lynn, he keeps getting better and it is a great pleasure to follow a good man, an awesome friend and former co-worker as he finds his real talent. I think anyone who likes action, mystery and cop stories would not be disappointed. I like the way he develops each character and captures your attention in the first chapter and keeps you wanting more to the very end! Great read and can't wait til the next book!
