To much war.and not.enough mystery

Perhaps it is me, But the James Acton thrillers appear to be more about Muslim conspiracy theories And the religions hate For all others. It's as if The author has a personal vendetta that he is expressing in his books. The 1st 2 books in the series were enthralling However as it Went on there appeared to be a Template the author was using and they just changed the places and Applied some very brief history for background. I made it through the air of all, book 6, And could go know further with this Series. Which makes me sad because the premise of the books and the characters Are fantastic however I can't do The Constant fighting and battle I guess I'm more into the history and mystery then War.

My go-to author

Discovered J. Robert Kennedy in the past few years and he is my go-to author when I want a book that will keep me interested. This particular storyline also was an extremely fun read, a plus and unexpected. I'm guessing he had fun writing it too. Glad he is a prolific writer too because I plan to read them all and I've got a pretty good start.

Good fun.

Another brilliant set with James, Laura and all the team. Plenty of action and cleverly done with history being behind all the modern day happenings. We also see the relationships between everyone grow including Delta Force. We become more involved in their lives and thoughts. Just good solid fun stories.

Endings are not welcomed

The only disappointment was that the story ended too quickly. The Acton's are always in the thick of action and constant nail biting thrillers are the norm for these two. One's heart is too fragile for the constant rush that is the norm for the Professor and company.
