Dumped by her boyfriend during her birthday ski weekend, Kayla runs to the two men she can count on, Jesse and Chris, her best friends. Reckless and hurt, she confesses her feelings for them both.
Jesse and Chris have dated the same women before, but Kayla is not like other women. She knows them better than they know themselves. And she will not let them hide from their feelings.
In love with Kayla for as long as he can remember, Chris is excited to finally have the chance to be with her, but he never expected to have feelings for both of his friends. He’s straight. How the hell can he want Jesse as well?
With everything changing, can these friends move beyond what they’ve known and find a way to build on the newfound love between them?
I am happily married to an amazing man. We have two children and the requisite 2 dogs.
After picking up my first romance book in my teens, I was hooked on the happily ever after. Sure it's often a bumpy road to get there, but then the best things in life are worth fighting for.
Compared to other books written by Lauren Fraser, this one fell a little flat for me. I thought the premise of the story was exciting, but I really didn't get to know the characters as well as I would have liked. Nonetheless, I do like a friends to lovers story and LONGING FOR KAYLA fit the bill and was a quickie menage read - good if you are looking for an afternoon of naughtiness.
It was okay. The transitions between scenes was awkward, and the book seemed to have an abrupt ending. Not much character development, and that is probably due to the length of the story.
This MMF story has spelling errors and abrupt transitions between some scenes. This is only six short chapters, so it is light on character development but it is still a fun read.
Read on Radish. Kayla, Jesse, and Chris have been friends forever. But Kayla’s boyfriend threatens a ski weekend. The three friends make the best of the situation.
Enjoyed this immensely. I actually stayed up to an obscene time (even though I had to work the next day) reading this. I almost emailed the author and accused her of trying to turn me into a zombie. Will definitely be good for a reread.
this was a fun quick read. i liked the characters and especially liked how Kayla instagated the intimate relationship between Jesse and Chris. the sex were great but i would've liked more development of the characters. i'll have to look for longer stories by Ms. Fraser.
Whew! I read this book so fast! It was definitely steamy. Some of the dialogue in the beginning was a little forced, but it took off and ended up being REALLY good! Now off to take a cold shower....
