When former foster child, Amara Miller, finishes getting her accounting degree from an illustrious history black college, she decides to join her best friend, Becca, on a move to Los Angeles. What she didn't expect, was to fall for one of the city's Sincere Davis. In a world of blood, money, and scandal, she soon comes to realize that it isn't always sunny in southern California.
I brought this book because I love hearing the author using her metaphors and intellect. I thought this book would be a reflection of that. Although it wasn't what I was expecting I wasn't disappointed. I remained engaged through out the story
This was a good read.. i purchased this book years ago and finally finished it. Love it and her progression in the industry.. drop the EP or the Album Lady! Much love
