Good

A short story well written. It jumped from scene to scene quite quick. The author never mentions explicitly the dark side of the hero, and leaves it to the readers guess, which I liked. The size of the read took me back to my childhood days of reading.

This Book Is Reflective About How Possessive Love Can Turn Into A Destructive Obsession That’s Waiting To Be Tapped Just Round The Corner.
Even Though This Is Just A Short Read Yet The Author Preeti Shenoy Writes At A Leisurely Pace That Takes It’s Own Sweet Time Before It Starts To Grow Upon The Reader And It’s Only Towards The End That It Actually Captivates And It’s The Climax That’s Bound To Haunt The Read Long After The Book Has Been Read.
What Remains With The Reader Is The Stark Reality The Direction Love Can Take And What An Ugly Transformation That Is. As It Can Actually Happen To Anyone Once The Mind Games Begin & What’s Left Behind Is A Sad Waste Of Unnecessary Loss.
Am I The Only One Who Feels That The Author Shenoy Could Have Invested A Wee Bit More Time To Add A Few More Pages To This Short Read Towards The Climax, So That It Did Not Give A Feel Of Being Left With An Abrupt End?

The writing, the pace and the narration was good but I didn't understand what kind of obsession it was to kill a person who looked like your ex!

What happens when love turns into obsession?
It's often said that, if people are in love they cherish their loved ones the most. What if fate decides to take that away from you!
This short book consists of a short story which talks a psychopath in love (rather obsession) & how the unexpected turn of events lead to a disaster.
Language as expected from the author is good. Narration is lucid & fast paced.
The suspense & mystery level incorporated here is worth commenting upon.
Only thing I disliked it, the book was way too short & it ends rather abruptly!

This book was a short and quick read. The story is narrated well with the characters Anna.

The story no doubt showed dark side of love but I wished the author had continued it for more than what was delivered.

A nice quick read

Obsession as the title suggests is all about a guy profusely obsessed to his lover "Anna", that he tries to see his love in other elegant ladies. The tale is all about his obsession about his lost love.

Short thriller.

Loved the way she has taken the story till end. I didn't expect the end. It's concealed very well by Preeti. I haven't read in her big books, the story of this sort.Dark! Good to read through her short stories. And she brilliantly explains the detailing always!

Disappointed

Was very disappointed with the short story if it was one. It ended very abruptly and you are left trying to wonder if that is all that's left of the book.

Not worth giving time.

It's only 9 pages or you can say 15 minutes, still not worth of reading it. It very predictable. .

It was a very short one and I didn't anticipate the end at all. Preeti has managed to create an atmosphere and delves readers into her work even under such time restrictions!

A quick short book to read. A person sees someone who looks like his ex and also lives the same area. What happens after that is the crux of the story.

Can't say more.

Do read it.
