I used this to help me study for my upcoming CompTIA Fundamentals & A+ exams. I have spent the majority of life playing with computers, helping other with computers, and attending computer academies. But, I was searching for a study guide for these exams that would be entertaining and helpful to read and not bore me with the jargon and specifics I needed to study for my tests. I found it with this book! The book has a few humorous bits that made me right “Lol” beside them, but mostly this book is an informative guide for someone like me who has experience with computers but needed in depth assistance and technical knowledge for my tests. It was a great fit! I will say that I wish some sections were better organized and explained better. I really struggled through the Networking Basics section because it wasn’t written in a way to properly explain the complexity of networking. I had to go on YouTube to learn enough to truly understand that section. The Mobile Devices chapter also drug on for too long in my opinion, but overall, this book was amazingly helpful. I would recommend it for anyone who’s trying to study for the CompTIA exams! The CD is also incredibly helpful. I’m sure I’ll be able to pass my tests thanks to this great read!!!!
