Julia Derek is the best author to write about a murder mystery. Once you start reading them you won't stop until it ends.

Anothet great book by Julia Derek.
Murder,betrayal, kidnapping and just plain insanity. Loved it ! Very fast paced book.

Too much talk, not enough action!
I chose this rating because the author could have put some good action parts into the book. It would have been much more interesting. As it was, the story line had some good parts to it. I would have liked to read more about the home life of the detectives, more about the scenery of the town in the story. Also, I guessed who the perpetrator was early on because there weren't any other characters mentioned who could have filled the part. I did like that there was a "twist" to the perpetrators character .
