"Sprinkling a tiny bit of happiness all over the planet"
Emily Coxhead is a British designer, illustrator and happy thing maker! She is also a graduate of Manchester School of Art, and the founder, director, creator and promoter of The Happy Newspaper. Based in a small village in Lancashire, the simple aim of this entrepreneur is to make the world a happier place.

The concept for The Happy Newspaper which was first published in December 2015 began as a small idea when Emily realised the effect that the news was having on her especially whilst she was going through a difficult time herself.

Testament to her success, in September 2018 Emily was featured in The Independent newspaper’s Happy List which acknowledges 50 inspirational heroes who do extraordinary things for others, and who deserve to be celebrated for their kindness, courage and selflessness.

I really like the idea of "make(ing) someone happy". I original wanted the book to gift to my little cousin who is going through hard times. (I won this on Goodreads Giveaways.)

Upon receipt, I read the whole book and really liked it. Its important for everyone to find happiest in the smallest of things and this book helps to point them out. It mentions in the blurb, sending care packages, which is something I LOVE to do. You take your time and think about the person your are sending the package to, what they would like, what would make them happy, what would make them smile and you can't help being filled with excitement and happiness.

This book encourage you to have a positive outlook on life and to find ways to make yourself happy.
I would definitely recommend this book, especially to teen and young adults, in fact, I'd recommend everyone one read it as we all need to attain happiness.

Such a cute and inspiring little book to brighten up your day whenever you need it. I also loved the interactive coloring pages throughout the book. I've just recently subscribed to The Happy Newspaper and can't wait to receive that as well. I truly love the mission Emily stands for, it's incredibly inspiring and brings happiness to a world that is in much need of it.

Good for ideas to make others happy and the colouring in was fun too, just wish they had of put a blank sheet behind the colouring in part, as it went through the other page
They say a good way to become happy is to make others happy, and this was a good book to make you think about your own happiness
