This was a good read, but I do feel like the title was misleading as it made it seem like it would be about a specific person, when in fact, it was just as much about a number of girls and their individual situations. The author painted a vivid picture of abuse
4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For The Case Manager by @_latoyachandler_ This was the story of a young girl Candice. Her mom, an Italian woman married to a black man was prejudiced against her own child. She didn't like her from the very beginning. Candice is taken through the mud until she ends up pregnant & her mother sends her away to a home for pregnant teens. There, things take a turn for the worse immediately! But she holds on and pulls through and then the truth about everything starts to come to light. ~LEE~
