spent nearly nine years as a first responder—an experience that shaped both his character and his storytelling.
A proud graduate of the University of New Mexico, Tim’s path has taken him from the deserts of the Southwest to the rocky coasts of New England and the sunlit shores of Central Florida. Along the way, he has built an impressive creative legacy as an award-winning author, illustrator, cartoonist, writing instructor and songwriter.
Before his name became synonymous with fiction and illustration, Glass wrote under the pen name C. Stewart, crafting over 400 nonfiction articles for national and international publications in the health and fitness industry.
His sharp insights and engaging voice made him a sought-after contributor for several New York–based magazines. Until its closure in the late 1990s, Tim was also a freelance, journalist for It’s a Wrap, New Mexico’s celebrated entertainment quarterly.
Beyond journalism, he’s worked as a ghostwriter and story consultant, helping others bring their visions to life. From first responder to storyteller, Timothy Glass has dedicated his life to exploring—and sharing—the human experience, one story at a time.
