Despues de leer las tres primeras novelas de esta saga tuve mucha curiosidad por conocer la forma en la que se dio la relacion entre Chase y Matilda, y aunque creo que a Midnight At Tiffany's le faltan unas cuantas paginas mas para volverla mas memorable y creible, la parte romantica que hay en mi se sintio en las nubes con este libro.
Midnight At Tiffany's es un relato breve, ligero y bonito que te dejara muy satisfecha si eres de esas personas que aman los romances rosas y sin drama.

3 enjoyable stars!
This was a good and enjoyable novella. Sweet and romantic, with a hot millionaire and hardworking girl trying to make her dreams come true. When they have a chance encounter it turns into an unforgettable night. As with any novella I wished it was longer so it wouldn't feel rushed, nonetheless it was a nice introduction to the "from Manhattan with love" series. I'm looking forward to continuing this series.

Закохатися за одну ніч, і відразу планувати одруження, купу дітей і переїзд, це трохи... Навіть не знаю, як висловитися.
Але давайте по порядку. У нас тут ретейлінг Попелюшки. Тому оригінального сюжету не варто чекати, все доволі просто і банально. І мене саме це й зацікавило в цій новелі. Але, на жаль, любові не сталося.
Герої бісили своєю тупістю в деяких моментах. Ну добре вона, її наївність і безглузді судження я якось могла зрозуміти. А він? Як людина могла заробити мільйони, якщо елементарно не може скласти два і два??
Але було багато милих і гарячих моментів, які мені сподобалися. Ставлення Чейза до Матильди🫠🫠🫠 Ще один книжковий чоловік, який боготворить свою дівчину.
В цілому, це така маленька казочка на вечір, щоб відпочити і розгрузити мозок. Але через маленький обсяг у мене не вийшло проникнутися героями та їх історією, зате багато насміялася з крінжових ситуацій.

5 Words: Attraction, lies, family, love, business.
This was a great little novella from one of my auto-buy authors, and it did not disappoint.
It's sweet and sexy and quite lovely, the perfect pick-me-up.
I loved Matilda and how she wanted to make herself into something else, her complete opposite, the heroine from her story. I really liked when Matilda considered making her kick-ass heroine clumsy and decided not to as it would be out of character. More actual authors need to do that.
This was everything I've come to expect from Sarah Morgan in a neat little package.

Met een groep op Goodreads (Feelgood Book Corner) beginnen we in 2020 aan deze serie. Deel 1 ligt klaar voor deze maand, maar deze korte novella heb ik even tussendoor gelezen.
Vermakelijk, maar niet echt veel inhoud of diepgang. Al was dat te verwachten met maar 60 bladzijden. Toch heeft het me nieuwsgierig gemaakt naar de andere boeken in deze serie. Hopelijk zijn die iets minder voorspelbaar en iets geloofwaardiger, maar we gaan het zien. Ik heb er zin in!
En ik weet nu al dat deze serie er voor gaat zorgen dat ik naar New York toe wil. Zo'n leuke stad! :)

Matilda is working as a waitress, but her real passion is writing. She is shy and doesn't like her height and because she is rather clumsy she is afraid to lose her job, daydreaming at work doesn't do any good either. One night at a gorgeous venue, where is held another important event, she has another disaster by spilling the champagne and that's enough of a reason to escape from there, which leads her to meet Chase. That one night, which started with white lies led to a amazing night at Tiffany's.
It was a short novella, but it was wonderful and sweet. Matilda and Chase were both likeable characters, they were so different, yet so similar, both completing each other, showing and guiding what the other didn't realize or dare to change. It was a great beginning to the series.

Too fairy-tale romance movie like ... basically a Cinderella story that happened in one night, complete with the change of one's look towards his life, and the falling in love. I needed to suspend my disbelief (and kept my sarcastic self behind), with what being still in holiday season and all. Also probably because it was a limitation of novella. Still, I will definitely check the full-length novels.

Cute short story that was included at the end of my copy of the first book in this series. Glad that a little more of Matilda and Chase's story was revealed in a few snippets of Sleepless in Manhattan and will most likely appear in book two as well.

It's official, Sarah Morgan is now an auto-read author for me. Midnight at Tiffany's is the perfect opener to her From Manhattan with Love series; it may be fairly short but it crams in the romance, the sexy-time and Matilda and Chase are a couple to fall in love with.

This story was very unrealistic but who cares? The writing was solid, Chase and Matilda were likeable, and their love story was adorable in a fairy tale kind of way. I only wish it was longer.

Giravo intorno alla Morgan da un po'.
Mi era stata consigliata come autrice che scrive storie leggere e romantiche, un po' come la nostra Anna Premoli e l'impressione che ho avuto da questo breve prequel è proprio questa. Troppe poche pagine per farmi un'idea precisa, ma quel poco che ho letto mi è piaciuto.

Matilda is working as a waiter at a fancy event. Matilda’s a dreamer. She’s written a novel about a kick-ass heroine, and she plays a game of ‘what would Lara do?’ every time she is confronted with another example of her own timidity. She spills a tray of champagne and her mean boss Cynthia fires her on the spot. Shamed, and not ready to face the support and comfort of her friends and work colleagues, Paige, Frankie and Eva, Matilda leaves.
Chase is super-rich and not really enjoying it that much. His sort-of girlfriend Victoria is urging to come out of the backroom and circulate with his guests. Doesn’t Victoria sometimes want to do the unexpected, to be free of networking and rich people stuff, to just be herself? No. Victoria wants her damn rich boyfriend to stop having some damn existential moment and just get on with stuff. While Victoria’s back is turned, Chase sneaks out.
Chase and Matilda meet in the elevator. They are very pretty people, so they each pretend to be someone they not, and then go back to Chase’s super incredible New York apartment to have fantastic sexy times. Probably, they should have been honest with each other from the beginning about who they were. Or not.
‘Midnight at Tiffany’s’ is the prequel to Sarah Morgan’s latest series and introduces the next three heroines, and the inciting even that leads to them also being fired by Cynthia, and setting up their own events management and concierge business. In ‘Sleepless in Manhattan,’ each of the ladies spends a certain amount of time wondering where poor Matilda has got to, and cursing Chase. Evil Cynthia said she fired Matilda on Chase’s insistence, and because Chase was really cranky about the champagne, he withdrew his business from the company, and Cynthia was forced to let half the staff go. Cynthia’s whole deal is a complete mystery to me, and I still refuse to believe that she’s not going to play some huge villain role at some point.
I like Sarah Morgan’s books a lot, and Matilda and Chase are a good match. Since I read ‘Sleepless in Manhattan’ first, their romance I had more expectations of their romance than this novella delivers. I’m not sure that it was necessary, but it’s a nice enough little story with charming characters, a straightforward conflict, and a deserved happy ending.

2,5 - Sono davvero combattuta dopo aver letto questo prequel. Da un lato, mi pare che ancora una volta la Morgan riesca a incuriosire con una serie che si preannuncia già vivace e ultraromantica, per cui non vedo l'ora d'iniziarla. e ha già sfoderato tutte le sue eroine e almeno uno dei protagonisti maschili che andremo ad incontrare.
Dall'altro lato, per farlo si serve di una coppia che - almeno sulla carta - meritava davvero di più.
Ma che caspita! Matilda e Chase erano materiale per un libro intero, per almeno di un racconto più sostanzioso.
E invece, dopo aver preparato tutto per bene, li fa incontrare e... puf, i due ci danno dentro, trasformando una storia che poteva essere originale nel solito plot miliardario belloccio ma tanto tormentato/povera cameriera incompresa, ma piena di talenti nascosti.
Insomma, una volta tanto che la protagonista era una romanziera, speravo in pagine e pagine di avventure.
Quindi è un racconto che si legge, che stuzzica per la nuova serie, ma che lascia anche un po' insoddisfatte per la lunghezza.

Awwww, this novella was so damn cute! Quite insta-lovy for sure, but it was done in a way that even an insta-love-hater like me couldn't be annoyed with. Plus, it was a novella, so I expected it and it was understandable considering the length of the book. But with that being said, Chase and Matilda were just so darn cute and perfect for each other, I would have read a full-length novel about them. They made me feel all warm and fuzzy. 🤗😍

Un racconto breve ma molto carino e divertente.
La semplicità con cui viene raccontata la storia della goffa Matilda mi è piaciuta davvero molto, rende la protagonista una persona che potresti incontrare anche per strada in qualsiasi momento.
Un inizio di serie davvero molto positivo spero che i prossimi siano dello stesso livello.

A very sweet and short novella with lots of instant attraction. I loved the shy and clumsy Matilda and the jaded Chase. The romance and sexy times were sweet and sexy. This is a great introduction to a wonderful christmas series. A great read for this time of the year and a must read for all romance fans.

C'était tout mignon mignon. Un peu rapide sur la fin (j'aurai pris peur si on me demandait en mariage si vite!) mais il faut reconnaitre le côté rêveur du grand Amour!
