Not bad for a short book. The step-by-step guide gets you started with meditation -- but you do not get deep insights on the why and how for the long-run.

I would say start with this book, get comfortable with breathing, relaxing and accepting your thoughts and then go on to a deeper learning program (another book, a course or something like this).

Short and Sweet

Meditation is best done, not read about. This very short book gives you the basics to start your practice without any extraneous elements. Read it, it gives you enough to get started, and meditate!

A book that achieves its intended purpose

Nice and gentle, a great series of easy steps to begin and maintain your daily meditation practice. As it mentions meditation can be made more complicated a process than is really needed for a complete beginner like me.

Very beneficial book.

Very beneficial and easily reading book,explains different techniques for meditation,I practice yoga and it's very beneficial for body and mind,the control of our breath is essential,recommend the book for beginners,very useful.
