Pretty much utter garbage. Very thin plot and characters even for a series novel. The world of shadowrun is so rich and interesting, but writer's never do anything with it but tell generic action/fantasy stories.
It's just a thriller/action plot that simply happens to have orcs, light magic and bad cyberpunk references in it.

I am not familiar with the game, but the book was given to me by a friend, after he found out I like stories about magic and I feel better about them if they happen in the future. I liked it a lot and will make sure to check the rest of the series, as it seems to be quite enjoyable.

I enjoy reading about dragons, magic, a lot of money, and guns. A little bit of cyberware makes for an interesting mage.

I can't stop buying Kenson Books. I really enjoy reading about talon and his rag-tag bunch of shadowrunners!

Great mystery/actionnovel

Love books with Dragons plus twist ending with a few surprises. Very well written with lots of action and little or none unsavory details.
