Spanking: Southern Style

Rate this book
Growing up in the South during the 1950’s means close family ties, good friends, and strict schools. Sarah Elizabeth McKesson is looking forward to starting school at Calvary Baptist School, even though her older brother and sister have told her that corporal punishment was commonly used.
Starting school also means that quick doses of spanking from her mother will now be done by her father after dinner with the strap that hangs at the top of the stairs.
Sarah shares her experiences with her close friends, Sondra and Linda, who also go to the same school and have strict parents.
This work of fiction chronicles Sarah as she starts school until she is in high school, and is based on interviews with others that had similar experiences growing up.
