Time: Full Stop or Question Mark?

Rate this book
'Time, ' often termed as the 'fourth dimension, ' affects us all. Whatever our status, background or ability, it totally influences our actions and attitudes. But is it 'non-negotiable'? Does it exert complete control? Is 'time' the ultimate 'full-stop'?
The Bible records the eternal God intervening in the affairs of this world and individual lives. Looking at the different ways in which such intervention took place, this book considers events when God broke through our conception of time, and how Jesus exampled a life outside of its limitations.
Suitable for personal reflection or group discussion, this Biblical perspective also considers how we can experience God working beyond those constraints of time. It doesn't necessarily provide answers, but perhaps changes 'time' to a 'question mark'!

Thanks for checking out my details!

It's only within the last couple of years that I've actually put material together in book form. Having worked in various government offices where I was tasked with writing reports / communications I suppose that the ability to string some words together (that made sense!) evolved from that role. Linked to my strong Christian faith it has been almost inevitable that various notes I'd prepared for church small-group discussion/teaching should be the springboard for what you now see.

I've tried to gear material for people like myself (and probably like you) who have no formal theological training, don't like long books (!), can't handle long words (!!), and have to live/work in a secular environment...and want to find God in all that goes on. I'm presently part of a lively Church of England church on outskirts of London and am taking up ongoing teaching/training/speaking roles.

Hope that this encourages you to look out for what I've been about to produce so far...if not you can always opt for John Ortberg or Max Lucardo (brilliantly innovative and inspired writers)

I received this book for free through Goodreads Giveaways and have chosen to give my honest opinion about it.
I was somewhat excited to receive this book, however, the title seemed almost like click-bait! I thought there would be thorough discussions about the science of time and the validity of it and the relation of it to Christianity. More often than not, however, I got stories and cultural references instead of insightful ideas and arguments. Fairly enough, I still learned a few new things from this book, as many of the chapters were interesting and compelling.
