Kansas City street king Lucas Richards, and his right-hand man, Snoop, had been having things on lock for years, but one day their luck changes and a slew of problems begin to arise. Unbeknownst to the two, there’s a snake hidden right under their noses, and they’re staking a claim in everything they’ve worked so hard to build. After several unexpected events, their lives begin to spiral out of control, and now they’ve set out on a quest to find out who’s behind all their troubles. Olivia’s love for Lucas is unwavering, and it has been that way since she first laid eyes on him. Her only request was to make sure she delivers a healthy baby, but with everything going on, she finds herself stressing over Lucas. Fearing the worse, Olivia’s trying to talk some sense into him, but the streets keep knocking, and he keeps answering. Snoop, better know as Dylan Jacobs is as crazy as they come, and he’s pissed that someone had enough balls to test their gangsta. He and Kaylee have been together for a short period, and all she wants is to be happy, but after recent events, she’s skeptical of that happening anytime soon. In her world, she comes before the streets, but in Snoop’s the streets come before anything, and now their relationship has hit a rocky road. At a time when things are in turmoil, anyone can get it, but with that gutta mentality comes significant consequences. What happens when you’re not only at war with the streets but the love of your life? Do you bend or fold or rise to the occasion? Don’t fret, all your questions will be answered, and you’ll soon find out what it’s like to be Loving A Kansas City King
Okay so I gave this book five stars because I felt the author deserved it based on the work she put into the storyline. The plot was bomb. The characters had a great relationship, and are a prime example of thick as thieves. They were all down for each other. I think out of the males, I liked Snoop the most. In my opinion he should have been the King Of Kansas over Lucus.
Now outside of that I think the author should look into a test/proofreader and a better editor. Or the publisher, which ever. There were errors and over usage of words. Many repetitive scenes that didn't need to be covered. Possible alternative wording would have made a world of difference to a great book.
I'm not saying this to hurt the author. I'm gonna inbox her personally so she knows what I'm getting at. I felt the overused words and scenes took away from the overall plot.
This book ended up being good. The way everybody is connected is amazing. Lucas Trent and Snoop are down for anything. Olivia Kaylee and Brooklynn are about that life. I love how there are no secrets and how they ride for everybody. But it’s like once they eliminate one threat another one comes. Can’t wait to read part two.
This was an OK read. It seemed to drag at times and took forever to get to the point. I found myself zoning out while reading. The storyline has great potential though. There was plenty of action and drama, it just took too long to get to the point. Trents repetitive use of him being the king of the streets became annoying. I'm curious to know where the story is going, so I will probably be reading part 2. #UIP
This was a great read.. That Lucas running the streets. It's a shame the ppl closer to him was after his life. The only thing I didn't like was how they did the nurse, Olivia was wrong for how she came for her in the first place. But thanks just a story!!. #UIP

Lucas is bae, Olivia is a real headache & it looks as if the whole nation is after Lucas! Man it was one thing after the other. Hopes everyone makes it out alive. Very good book.
This was a great read! Love the love Lucas has for his family. But now being the King of Kansas City comes with its ups and downs. Lucas and the crew just can't catch a break! Looking forward to part 2!
