Beach Brides Series #12

Twelve friends from the online group, Romantic Hearts Book Club, decide to finally meet in person during a destination vacation to a beautiful Caribbean isle. While of different ages and stages in life, these ladies have two things in common: 1) they are diehard romantics, and 2) they’ve been let down by love. As a wildly silly dare during her last night on the island, each heroine decides to stuff a note in a bottle addressed to her “dream hero” and cast it out to sea!

It’s been three years and Amy Sheridan has yet to hear that her bottle’s been found, reaffirming her belief that love isn’t in her cards. So when the book club decides to return to the island for a reunion, she’s reluctant to go, until a psychic informs her that she’ll meet a handsome stranger there. Will romance be in her future after all?

Dawson Yates has it all…except a wife. Being a wealthy bachelor hasn’t been a problem until a talk show host questions his single status as CEO of a popular matchmaking service. After that, board members pressure him to give up his playboy lifestyle or step down from his position. Setting up a phony engagement at Enchanted Island seems like the perfect solution, until he learns that his chosen “bride” is already married. While pondering what to do next, he discovers a message in a bottle, wedged between some rocks. Could the author of the note be the answer he’s looking for, or will she steal his heart and break it in two?

Amy ( Beach Brides #12 )
By: Raine English
Amy is book twelve and the last one in the Beach Brides Series. Any of these can be read as a stand-a-lone without any problems. I have read almost all of them and have enjoyed them all. Raine English did a fantastic job on her story and the characters. I felt like I was right there with them. She drew me in right at the start and I was hooked. This is Amy and Dawson’s story. Amy is one of twelve women who belong to an on line Romantic Hearts Book Club. They all go on vacation to the beautiful Caribbean Island. They all take a silly dare to write a note to their Dream Hero and put into a bottle and tossing the ocean. They all have two things in common, die hard romantic and have all lost in love. It has been three years and Amy’s bottle has not been found. They want to go back to the Caribbean for a reunion, but Amy is not looking forward to it. Dawson Yates , a wealthy bachelor, has been told to go and find himself a wife or lose his job. Amy see’s him holding the bottle up on the beach and try to get it back. Dawson is thinking that Amy might just be the woman he is looking for . Has Amy Met her Team Man? What about Dawson, will Amy go along with his plan?
I was given a complimentary copy of this book, but was not told that I had to give a positive review.

Amy Sheridan is a successful business woman
but still not lucky in the romance and love
department.
Amy is one of the twelve women who formed an
online book club called Romantic Hearts Book
Club. They meet in person on a Caribbean Isle.
On a dare, they each toss a bottle with a note
to their dream hero into the sea. Three years
have past and the other eleven women have
had their bottles recovered finding true love and
marriage. All except Amy!!! Now a reunion is
planned to happen on Enchanted Isle of the
twelve women.
Dawson Yates runs a matchmaking show. The
board members put him under the gun to find
his own love match or lose his job. He decides
to fake an engagement while vacationing on
Enchanted Isle with an actress but the whole
incident goes haywire. As he wanders down to
the beach and climbs up on some rocks
overlooking the sea ,he finds a bottle with a note
in it. Shortly after his discovery, he hears a
voice demanding he return her bottle.
This leads him to an idea!!!!
What is Dawson's Idea? What will Amy think?
What will she do?
Could this man holding her bottle be Amy's
true love?
This is an unique, smoothly and very creatively
written story. There were plenty of nice descriptive
details taking the reader along with the characters
as the story begins then progresses right up to the
end. The reader feels what the main characters think.
They see through their eyes and share their feelings.
The major characters have depth making them very
real and captivating.
An entertaining, enjoyable, heartwarming and highly
recommend read!!!
There are twelve books and twelve authors included
in this Beach Brides Series. Each book can be read
as a stand alone. This is the last book in the series.
I volunteered to read " Amy ". Thanks to the author
for the opportunity. My opinion is my own.

> > Judging a Book by its Cover < <
Pretty cover. Model is wearing a lacy wedding dress and crown of roses, standing at the shoreline. It’s a sweet and serene looking cover. Having read the previous eleven for their respective releases but not this one, I felt it the need to complete the series.
> > Looking Deeper < <
POV ~> Third person

Amy is a smart and strong woman. A business owner whose parents passed away only a few years earlier and believes in fate and karma.
Dawson is a CEO trying to prove to the world that he can be successful in his business contrary to his own personal life and beliefs about love and commitment.
A message in a bottle, fake engagement, and some real feelings later, Amy and Dawson find themselves becoming attached to one another rather quickly.
I enjoyed the cast and the storytelling. The writing was so smooth, the pages just flew by. Before I knew it, I’d read the whole thing!

This is a fantastic novella and a great addition to the series. Terrific sweet romance series. Highly recommended to those that love sweet, no-sex romance stories.

Three years ago, Amy joined the members of her online book club on a trip to Enchanted Island. While there, they each wrote a letter to their dream hero, put the note in a bottle, and tossed it out to sea. Now the book club is planning a return trip. Amy’s bottle is the only one that hasn’t been found, and she is the only one who hasn’t found love. Does she really want to go?

I really liked Amy! Her spirit and energy came off the page. I think she had the most faith when the group threw their bottles into the ocean, and it made me so sad that her bottle hadn’t been found yet. But it just made her story that much more tender. It was such a sweet ending to the series.

I have loved spending the summer with the beach brides! Each book in the series has been so unique. I have enjoyed every one!

I received a copy of the book, which I voluntarily reviewed. I have given my honest opinion.

Amy is a member of the Romantic Hearts book group when they went to the Enchanted Island to meet each other. They had a great time, on their last night there they decided to put a message in a bottle and throw it out to sea. The message was for their dream hero.

Each one of the girls met someone and fell in love, all except Amy. This is a cute story telling how she believes in fate and how things happen for a reason. Like all the other books once you pick it up it is so hard to put down.

Amy by Raine English is the twelfth book in Beach Brides Series featuring Amy Sheridan who was one among the twelve online book club friends who met on Enchanted Island three years back and on a dare threw bottles with messages to their dream heroes out to the sea. Now, everyone with the exception of Amy is either wed or engaged, all thanks to those messages that got found by men who turned out to be their soul mates.

Amy, on the other hand, is still waiting to hear from her dream man. Disheartened and heartbroken because she really did hope to find her love when she threw the bottle, she doesn't want to be an object of pity when she travels to attend the reunion to meet her friends in a few weeks on Enchanted Island. A chance encounter with a most handsome man, Dawson Yates, leads to a proposal to a fake engagement which will apparently solve her and his problems.
Is this the start to a romance she has always been waiting for or will it lead to a heartbreak of the worst kind?

The cover is gorgeous and very eye catching. Combined with the blurb, it will make readers stop to take notice of the book.

Despite being part of a series, this is a standalone story. All books in this series are individual stories and can be read out of order.

I have read and enjoyed Raine English's books in the past so when I heard about her contribution to Beach Brides series, a series I am absolutely enjoying and highly recommend to everyone, I jumped at the chance to review it.

The story is a quick read and I easily finished it in one sitting. The plot had great potential but overall I feel that the execution could have been better. Some parts feel rushed and left me wanting more.

The characters are easily relatable and I loved both these people. However, the character development is rushed and I feel the author should have given more page space to developing Amy and Dawson's romance so that their relationship looked more plausible.

Another facet that wanted more work is the back story and its connection to the future. Both Amy and Dawson had reasons to enter the whole fake relationship but once there, nothing is shown how this affected (eased or worsened) their reasons. A more detailed reunion with the other Beach Brides would have definitely added more appeal to the story and given my romantic fan heart a jump. I also wanted to know more about Dawson's relationship with his parents.

Despite some facets of the story that didn't give me the closure I craved, I still loved reading this clean romance book which has some really memorable moments and gave me new goals to achieve when I next plan my vacation, like saving money to book an overwater villa!

Both Amy and Dawson are lovely people and I rooted for their happily-ever-after throughout the book.

All in all, Amy by Raine English is a breezy, quick beach romance that is suited for all age groups. I give it 3 stars out of 5 and strongly recommend the Beach Brides series to everyone. Am so sad to see the end of this beautiful series and hope more such series get published in the future.

I received an ARC from the author and I am very thankful to her. The above is my honest and unbiased opinion and in no way influenced.

This is the final book in the Beach Brides stories. I really enjoyed it! If you've read any of the previous 11 books, you know the premise! A group of 12 women from an online book club get together on an Caribbean island to meet each other and on the last day decide to write a message in a bottle and throw it into the ocean, hoping to find true love! Amy is a successful businesswoman and she's discouraged because all of the other women in her book club actually found love with their messages in a bottle that they threw into the ocean! It was a stilly thing they did when they all were together in the Caribbean but it actually worked for all 11 of the other women! For her? not so much! It's been a few years and nothing has happened. Now it's time for the reunion that the women are going to have and she's the only one who doesn't have a man to bring to the reunion. Oh, well, she's going anyway! Dawson is the CEO of the largest matchmaking company and the board of directors want to fire him because he's a playboy and wont settle down??? So, he thinks a phony engagement will do the trick! He sets one up on a Caribbean island but that doesn't work out and now what will he do??? And then he finds a message in a bottle.......
This was just a fun book to read. I loved the characters and they were very realistic. Their emotions were real and they were also intelligent! FUN!

This is another book in the Beach Brides series and it different in the respect that no one found Amy’s bottle and she didn’t want to go back to Enchanted Island for a reunion with her book club friends who had all found their soul mates and were living their happily ever afters.
She is not sure but loves Enchanted Island. She has been seeing a psychic who has helped her but today’s meeting was different. Her psychic says she has to go back as she sees a handsome man right there on enchanted Island that found her bottle.
Amy gets excited and heads out to the Island.
This is another wonderful story in this series. This one is different as no one else found the bottle in the water near the island before.
It also has a big twist in it and you just have to read it to find out what is going to happen.
Does she and this handsome stranger get together for their happily ever after.
This is my first book I have read of Raine English and I love it. It is a sweet novella and a quick read but once you start it you will read it until the end. I must read again in this series.

I have been asked to read this book by the author and accepted it without any compensation or anything else. I was asked to review it but I did do as I really wanted to after reading it, and this is my honest unbiased review.

Amy Sheridan believes in fate. And love at first sight. And true loves. Dawson Yates does not. In fact, he’s just the opposite. And he’s got a string of broken relationships and a playboy reputation to prove it. Which is part of the reason why he’s in danger of losing his position as CEO of an online dating service. His board doesn’t think he’s capable of successfully running a dating service when he’s incapable of having a committed relationship himself. So when Dawson finds Amy’s message in a bottle, looking for her one true love, he thinks he’s found the perfect solution. If they pretend to be engaged, it’ll get the board off his back and Amy won’t feel so out of place around all of her married or engaged friends during their reunion. And since it’s strictly a business deal, there’s no chance anyone can get hurt, right?

This was a great little story. It was a fun ending to a wonderful series. I immediately liked Dawson and Amy’s story and I was done with the book in no time. The characters were likeable, the plot was engaging, and it tied in nicely with all the other books in the series. It’s a very quick read, made even quicker by the fact that it’s a fun story. I really enjoyed it and I definitely recommend it!

I received an ARC of the book. However, I volunteered to write a review. All of the above opinions are entirely my own.

Amy and her online book club friends put a message in a bottle to find their soul mates. Amy hasn’t found hers yet, but is reconnecting with her friends on Enchanted Island.

Dawson flies to Enchanted Island to acquire a phony fiancée. When those plans fall through, he has no idea how to save his company, Love Match. If he doesn’t find a fiancée, he loses his company.

The games begin when Amy and Dawson decide to act like they’re engaged so he can save his company and she’s not the only one still single when her group meets. Can they remember they’re not really engaged? He doesn’t believe in fate or love at first sight. But there’s something about Amy.

This is a fun story! Amy and Dawson are opposites. But will spending time together change how they feel? A wonderful final story to the Beach Brides collection! You don’t have to read these in order to know what is going on, but if you enjoy engaging beach read stories, you will want to read each one.

I received a free copy in the hope that I would mention/review it on my blog. I was not required to give a positive review, only my honest opinion - which I've done. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own and I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

4 1/2 stars. Amy is the #12th and last in the Beach Brides series. Amy is by Raine English. As sweet, heartwarming, and charming as the others.
It took me 5? 10? minutes to warm up to hero, Dawson, but once I did, that was it. Kinda like the heroine Amy. I liked Amy and Dawson. I liked the island setting. I loved that they all reunited back at the island. I liked that fact that Dawson was CEO of an online dating service. And Amy owned a clothing boutique. Both self sufficient. I liked that. I didn't care for Dawson's mom at first. But at the end I liked her. One of my favorite scenes? And the moment I fell head over heels for Dawson? When Amy lost her too big phony engagement ring down the drain and was in tears and Dawson held and comforted her. My only complaint really. I wanted more. Especially the epilogue. would have loved to have peeked in to all the girls lives for a minute. To see how they and their man of their dreams are doing after 3 years. And the fact that the series is over. I really enjoyed the series. Amy was no exception.
I received an ARC PDF copy for an honest review.

I can’t believe is wonderful series is over and this is the last book. I have read and reviewed 7 of the 12 books of the series and when I have some free time I will go back and read the other ones I missed. This was just as good as the others and had me turning the pages (tapping the Kindle) to see if it would all work out for them both. I received a free copy of the book and have voluntarily written an honest review. I would have loved this book to have been a bit longer and a bit more in-depth as some parts seemed a bit rushed to be believable to these two wonderful characters plot.
Amy is the last of the 12 book club members to not have her bottle found after they all through their message in a bottle into the ocean 3 years ago on a tropical island. The book club has arranged a reunion back on this Island for them all to catch up with each other, but Amy doesn't want to attend as she is the only one that had not found her hero or soulmate.

Amy: Beach Brides; Book 12 was written by Raine English. This is the final story of the twelve women who made up the Romance Writing club. It definitely should be the best; but unfortunately, it was not. Amy was also consulting a psychic. This seemed especially important since the others had met theirs. The club was to meet again and Amy was thinking g not going. Her psychic talked her into going.
Dawson Yates was not thrilled on going to Enchanted Island. However, as his role in the reality show Love match. To keep his job, Ryan had to agree to show, on TV, how well the show worked for him. He had little time to find a bride. He thought he had her but it was the friend of a friend. At the last minute he foundout that her divorce wasn’tt found to be illegal in the US. He has to find a new bride.
When Amy agrees to be a fake bride, she isn’t sure of her promise; but has no choice but to try to go through it. Can she convince the others that Amy is happy. How will her fake marriage last?

Amy, the only girl in the book club whose bottle with the message in it hasn't been returned or, as far as she knows, not even found. All her other book club friends have found their happily ever afters. Amy is reluctant to go the book club reunion on Enchanted Island. She hasn't met "the one" yet. The only reason she does is that her psychic counselor sees a tall dark and handsome guy on the beach holding a wine bottle in his hands.
Dawson a man with the playboy image and who has everything he wants except a wife which he needs to keep his job. So he decides to find a woman to pretend to be engaged to him. See the man who doesn't believe in soul mates or happily ever after fall in love with the beautiful Amy.
I really enjoyed all the Beach Bride series books and Amy's book didn't disappoint. A sweet love story with all the angst that fit into a novella. Totally worth the read. Ms. English did an awesome job.

What a wonderful book to bring the Beach Brides Series to a close.
This is a story that most girl's dream of. The hope that Mr wonderful, our perfect soul mate is out there waiting on us to walk into their life. Dreaming that love at first sight will hit both of you like a thunder bolt and will continue through a life of Happy ever afters.
Amy's story is set three years after the twelve online book club members met for the first time on Enchanted Island and unlike the others no one has answered her message sent in a bottle. The other eleven have all found the love of their life and Amy is still waiting believing fate will decide her future.
A great heart warming story that will make you smile.
It all began on Enchanted Island and beautifully ends on Enchanted Island.

Such a fun series about an online book club that decides to meet at Enchanted Island. On their last day there they all decide to write a message to put in a bottle and throw in the ocean. Sadly this is the last book in the series.
Amy Sheridan threw her bottle in the ocean three years ago but no one seems to have found her bottle. Now the online book club has decided to have a reunion back on Enchanted Island. The other twelve women in the group are now engaged or married except for Amy. Cherie Camp, her Boston psychic says she sees a tall dark and handsome man finding Amy's bottle. You will have to get the book to find out what happens! I really liked this story and how it ties so well into the series. What a fun lighthearted romantic story!

Amy is a delightful store owner from Boston and the only one who has not found love when the book club group decides to have a three-year reunion on Enchanted Island. After she arrives she meets Dawson Yates, playboy and CEO of Love Match, the #1 online dating service and notices he has found her bottle wedged between the rocks on the beach near the resort villa. Their story hooked me immediately and had me glued to the book from the first word to the last.

Ms. English has written a beautiful final story for the Beach Brides series and I am sorry it has ended since it quickly became a favorite of mine. I look forward to reading all of the books again at a later time because I bought them all for my keeper library. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Amy

Raine English crafted a beautiful sweet story about letting fate takes its course that leads you to your happily ever after. You get lost in her writings and forget your life for a little while.

Amy believes in fate, souls mates, and love at first site. When her psychic tells her she is going to meet her tall, dark, and handsome soul mate back at Enchanted Island Amy doesn't waste time.

Dawson does not believe in fate, soul mates, or love at first site. Meeting Amy at Enchanted Island might be what he needs to save his job. As they spend time together will he start to believe in love at site?

I totally recommend this book.

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Perfect place to end the series. Back on Enchanted Island. Amy Sheridan is successful in her business life but she has not found true love. She is beginning to think that love is not in the cards for her. No one has ever responded to her message in a bottle. Should she stay or should she go to the reunion? Dawson Yates is the head of a match making service. He doesn't believe in true love but he has come under fire. He came up with a plan. Like all go plans, his went awry. He sought a place of solitude and Amy just wanted to go for a walk. Fate was playing with them. He found her bottle and she was there when it happened. Could they both deceive their friends, family and co-workers? Enchanted Island. Where true love is found!

Amy and Dawson pursue the questions "Do soul mates exist? What about love at first sight? or Fate!" Raine English romance Amy is a delightful fulfilling conclusion to the Beach Brides series. Three years after throwing her message in a bottle into the sea Amy returned to Enchanted Island to meet with her online book club friends. Disappointed that all eleven friends found love. Can love grow that is founded in a lie and deception? Or is Enchanted Island magical? Beach Brides were a hit for this avid reader with likable characters, page turning plot, diverse settings, delightful messages and contact information in a bottle. Each book was just the right length for a summer beach read.

Twists and turns are entertaining in this one!
Amy and Dawson’s story has interesting twists and turns throughout it, which keep it interesting and even surprising! By the end, I was pleased that this series ended as well as it began. If you haven’t read the others, you can start here, then go back to the beginning, or somewhere between. They are all different and very entertaining!

Did not disappoint.
Amy is the 12th book in the Beach Brides Message in a Bottle Set.
All of these books are quick reads and can be standalone.
Amy is a successful in business but not yet in love woman. She believes in love at first sight and soulmates.
Dawson is a successful businessman and a love at first sight and soulmate nonbeliever.
They meet by chance on Enchanted Island and Dawson gives Amy a business proposition that she was skeptic of, but she took him up on his offer.
With a few twists and turns along the way Amy and Dawson find their way in more ways than one.

I really liked Amy's story in the Beach Bride Series. Amy is the 12th member of her online book club. On their vacation to the Caribbean all the book club members threw a bottle in the ocean with a note seeking true love. Amy believes in fate. Can she find someone who also believes in love at first sight? I'm a little sad that I've read the last of the Beach Bride series. I sure hope their will be a sequel.
I definitely recommend this book and the whole series.

Final book in the Beach Brides Series. Although I enjoyed the story itself it seemed a little bit rushed. I think if Ms. English would have made the story a bit longer and drew out the courtship it would have been better. To go from strangers in a pretend engagement to falling in love and a real engagement in a matter of only a couple days seems a bit far fetched. But overall the story concept was good. I still would recommend this book for any who enjoy a sweet romance.

Will a message in a bottle lead to love?
A fun, quick read. Their whole relationship had been built on a lie but the chemistry is there; it just took him a bit to realize it was love. Descriptive story, entertaining, and an easy read.
There are twelve books and twelve authors included in this Beach Brides Series. Each book can be read

Amy is the last beach bride and I am sad that we are at the end of this series. It has been 3 years and Amy hasn't been contacted about her message in a bottle. The book club is having a reunion and Amy is hesitant about going. Loved how she and Dawson met. Liked the twist on who found her bottle and when. Hoping these authors get together and write a reunion book!!!!

Love this story about fate.

Amy's bottle was out there for three years. The group was having their reunion and she was the last single one. Fate seem to bring Any and Dawson together even though he thought it wasn't right. Love their ride to romance. His non belief and her belief of fate. They are so wonderful together. Love the ending.

A straightforward sweet romance novella. I really liked the "message in the bottle" concept that carries throughout the series of twelve books - some of the messages were funny, some heartfelt, but each one was unique and a great start to each individual story. With the exception of Ginny Baird, each author in the series is new to me. What initially caught my eye was the beautiful cover art.
