This self-help Christian book was given to me by Ate Joy, my life mentor, my spiritual adviser, one of the few women I look up to in my life. She gave this to me almost three years ago, when I was still in the middle of getting over a relationship.
I like all the chapters except for the last part where the author emphasized about not desiring marriage at all cost. I think it's okay to desire and pray for marriage; when you know that God's will is for you to get married and build a family. If not for the last chapter, I would've given it a 5-star.
This book helped me align my relationship goals in Christ. Even until now, I still read my favorite chapters from time to time and reflect on the kind of woman I have become today.
This book is an active-discernment manual; a useful guideline for taking steps that are both prayerful and practical in discerning if one's vocation is marriage.
